The screen came as described. I was a little concerened because several people indicated in other reviews that the brightness of the screen was not the same as the original but it worked great for me. i foudn a "how-to" video online and within about 30 mintues my daughters DS was back in business, good as new and it cost me $90 less than a new one!

No instructions came with this kit so I had to go on line to check how to do it. Didn't realize how many different types there were out there. And needless to say, the ribbon on the touch screen did not fit the connector on the mother board. Will never try this again.
