For the average sports fan, watching your favorite athlete on TV is a treat. For the die hard fan, having the opportunity to "go behind the scenes" and have the chance to see your athlete outside of the arena, is priceless. NASCAR is so popular because it is so fan friendly. The drivers remember that it is the fans who buy the tickets and the merchandise, that allow them to race. For Jeff Gordon to allow access to his personal life and his "private" time away from the race track is really cool. Other drivers have done it, and their popularity has grown as well. Good for you NASCAR and Jeff Gordon as well.
