200 Crochet Blocks

This is a great crochet block book. I bought the book because I liked the color combination used on the cover squares, and when it arrived I was just as happy with the blocks shown in the book, too: the color combinations are wonderful.The blocks in the book are easy to find because the table of contents is pictorial, and each block is named rather than just numbered (i.e. it's much easier to remember you liked the "snowflake" block rather than #26).The blocks are all rated by skill level: 1 hook = beginner/easy; 2 hooks = intermediate; 3 hooks = advanced/difficult. The majority of the blocks are 2 hooks.I've read other reviews of this book that people are disappointed that the book doesn't really have 200 blocks--that there are a number of repeated blocks just done in other colors. Who cares? It's cram-packed full of enough blocks to keep you busy for a l-o-n-g time.Also, make sure to go to the Interweave Press website and download the list of corrections for the book. There are 7 squares that have corrections.Finally, the blocks are all 6".I highly recommend this book.

There are several wonderful things about this book, first the very obvious motifs, squares, and how to put them together. But the thing I like most about this book is all the color combinations. For me this is a keeper in my library.

Will provide many options for single-square afghans to projects with multiple combinations of stitch squares.

Book is very good. It has excellent pictures and instructions.But it took a very long time as compared to anythig I have ever ordered before to come in the mail 2 state away.
