We got 2 of these books, one for us and one as a present for someone we bought a dutch oven for. The recipes are easy and yummy.

not satisfied with the recipes or the information related in this book. I will find somepne who will enjot it I am sure. It just didn't measure up to what I expected....

I am a little disappointed with this purchase. It may be because I am just not experienced enough with dutch oven cooking. I have only used a couple of the recipes in this book and so far the meals have not come out as I hoped. Most of the time it is undercooked. So, that tells me that the time indicated in the book is incorrect or the temperature is not accurate. Either way the book should be accurate. The book is small...NO pictures. I am a picture person, especially for trying things for the first time. I need to know what it should look like as a finished product. I am keeping the book for the simple recipes but most likely going to purchase another book.

The best thing about this book is that the recipes are simple and they don't call for fancy ingredients that you have to make a special trip to the store to find.
