A friend suggest that I read the 1-2-3 Magic book- well as a mom of 2 kids under 5, it's difficult to find the time. The CD version was on Overstock and ordered it immediately. Since I have a long commute to/from work, I was able to understand the "magic." I told my husband that he needed to listen too and we decided together to use the guidelines. it worked!

This book changed our lives
I bought this book after attending a lecture by the author when my daughter was 4 and son was 2. My daughter was ADHD, and we couldn't get any help for her because of her young age. We were desperate. I read the book and stuck to the suggestions for one weekend. And our lives improved 100%. But they key is sticking to it. She is now 18. Even in middle school if she heard "That's One" she would stop whatever inappropriate behavior.

Very Good Product!!
Very informational on how to dicipline your child and not feel like you are being an awful parent!! My councelor recommended it and i am glad because my son is going to be turning 2 soon.

Straightforward Discipline Method
The 1-2-3 method isn't complicated, but it definitely works. I have a three year old boy and this book helped my husband and I deal with his tantrums without getting so emotionally upset that we felt out of control. Easy to follow and ful of helpful advice, this book is great for those parents who want to avoid spanking or harsh punishments but who feel like time-outs aren't getting them anywhere, either.
