You get what you pay for with this comforter as far as fabric quality goes. Its lovely, and the picture does it justice- it looks classic and elegant. It looks fabulous in a guest room. However, I would not suggest this set for everyday use, or if you have pets or children. The edges on the comforter fray and the seams seem to rip easily, the same with the decorative pillows. The pillow shams seem to have held up well though, and I have those on my bed everyday. Overall, I'm really happy with this comforter set, and I think it was well worth the money.
