if you buy the 4 inch memory foam mattress, you must invest the extra money and buy this cover. not only does it fit like a glove and make the topper look like a custom mattress, you will not get any of the the heat problems people talk about. I would absolutely recommond spending the extra money to get this cover. also some people have stated that their 4 inch memory foam mattress was smaller than their standard bed. I found just the opposite to be true. mine was sized generously and this cover fit it perfectly.

I admit I was worried about how I was going to squeeze my 4" foam pad into a baglike cover. I was delighted to see that it had a zipper all the way around three sides. It was ample enough that zipping it up was a breeze. Fabric is one of my specialties. This material is top notch, very fine weave, lovely to touch. The down will make that lovely thick foam all the nicer to sleep on. I rarely have the pleasure to obtain a product made withthe thought and care I'd use if I made it myself. Pride in workmanship shows in every detail. That makes this a great value. Bottom line: highly recommended.

I am so happy I splurged on this cover for my 1.75 inch memory foam topper. It's fits it like a glove and was so easy to use, 3 sides zip up which is a real treat if you've ever tried to shove a duvet into it's cover. It makes it hard to get out of bed in the morning it's so comfy. The material is soft as a cloud and the down is in just the right amount. You can't go wrong buying this cover!

TOPPER NEEDED A LITTLE AIRING OUT, BUT NICE QUALITY AND COMFORTABLE

After reading reviews here, I bought this in addition to my new Serta 3-in mattress topper. They work wonderfully together.... I haven't had such great sleep in months. BUT. The combination simply won't stop sliding of the bed. I finally tried taking the down cover OFF of the mattress topper. It turns out the memory foam mattress topper is very "sticky" by itself and it doesn't slide anywhere. Perhaps, next, I'll just zip up the down cover and just rest it on top of the memory foam, like a featherbed. But, if I were to go through the process again, I would just go ahead and buy a real featherbed. All said, I'm far from disappointed with my purchase. Like I said I'm sleeping better than I have in months. The down does greatly improve on the memory foam, too... but there's no reason not to pay less money and get a real featherbed :)

What words?.... Fantastic? Great? Wonderful? My loving wife is very delicate, and requires comfort in order to get a good night of RESTFUL sleep. I first got her the four inch memory foam topper, which is just amazingly comfortable. But her fitted sheet would sort of bunch up and would make wrinkles, which she found uncomfortable. Now, however, PERFECTION IN ABSOLUTE SLEEPING COMFORT! This cover is well worth the money, you will be happy you went the extra mile. Comfort at its finest!!

fits over the 4" foam just fine, nice quality. keeps the memory foam from being too hot.

This product works exactly as described on the 3" memory foam topper I purchased earlier from Overstock. I am certain it will protect my topper for many years. It zips together so to make removal and cleaning easier.

I am very happy with the memory foam topper. With the three sided zipper, it was vey easy to insert the memory foam. I purchased this item to use on on my boat and it works great!

I bought the memory foam topper, first, without the cover. It was soft, but it didn't feel like a bed. It felt like sleeping on a sponge, and it conducted heat. In other words, we got really hot at night. The memory foam topper was better than nothing, but I wasn't satisifed. This goose down cover is great. It solved both problems. No more hot sweats and it feels like a soft bed. I didn't do any research before I bought the cover, so I don't know if its a good price, but it seems reasonable. I didn't give it 5 stars, because I think it could have a little more down. Overall, it is great an I would highly recommend it.

The cover made the foam pad that much more luxurious. I have a 4" pad and would recommend that you get the same.

this is the perfect companion to the thick memory foam topper...... great comfort but it wa a little high on the price scale but still worth it

I bought this cover to use with a latex topper I ordered at the same time. I have a memory foam bed that's so firm it was causing me hip problems. This cover did the trick. It's roomy enough to use with two latex toppers, and made my firm Tempur-pedic bed the perfect pillow-top luxury sleeper, shielding me from the heat that memory foam typically generates. The cover is very well made, and it launders nicely in a front-load washer - no shrinkage or pilling. The filling holds its shape and loft and, after a year's use, is still just as luxurious as it was the day I got it. Its purchase was money well-spent !

We purchaced this at the same time as the 4" memory foam topper. I can't imagine how we would have moved the topper with out this cover. The thing is, because of the down filling, the bed is a bit warmer.

I bought this cover for my 75 yr old parents when I also purchased a memory foam topper to help with complaints about their bed being to firm. I haven't seen it yet but since they told me they love both products I am giving it 4 stars (as they can be quite difficult to please!!!). I bought it for two reasons - one to prevent from getting to hot from the memory foam and two to prevent tears in the edge of the foam from pulling it around when they make the bed. So far they love it and I think the price was reasonable.

This does not feel like 100% cotten. The top is nice cotton stuffed with down, but the rest of the material is some type of waterproof fabric that feels like you are sleeping on plastic. It is like the protection you put on a baby's crib. I heard it crackle every time I moved. Not what is advertised at all.

This is a very nice cover. I bought 3 of the latex toppers and they fit perfectly inside it. Nice zipper and easy to use. The combination is wonderful to sleep on. I really recommend this product. No odor either. Justine on Camano

The topper cover is definatly one of the best buys yet. The cost is equal to the value of this peice. The fabric is very high quality and the design I was suprised to find very user friendly. The entire cover unzips all the way around which allows you to lay the foam pad down and then all you have to do is zip it up. I thought is made getting a heavy foam pad into a sack very easy I loved it! A great item!

This is an excellent item and truly finishes the 3 inch memory foam pad. It's a great combination, well worth the price.

Upon receiving my down cover never have I slept better! It really makes a huge difference between sleeping on a regular memory foam topper. It feels like sleeping on a cloud! The price is great... Thanks Overstock!
