this is my first down comforter and i love it. i didn't want to spend a lot but i wanted a nice quality. that is what i got. it keeps you nice and warm. i would buy this set and tell people about it

The entire set is cheap, horrible and awful. I saw several good reviews and one very bad one and went ahead and ordered this set anyway. I should have believed that bad review. The fabric covering of the quilt is almost like plastic. It's stuff and has a something weird, sticky feeling. The pillows are even worse...they flatten out and feel stiff as a board after about an hour. I would have returend this, but we shipped the set up to our weekend house and sending it was several months before I opened the box. It's junk. Cheaply made, but not that cheaply priced. Don't waste your money. I don't understand how those good reviews came about...anyone who has ever had a real down comforter and slept on a real down pillow will know that this is the worst garbage.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this item for several reasons: Right off the bat, the down distribution between the pockets of the duvet is very uneven - some are nice and fluffy while the others are empty And after a while the feathers from the pillows start to come out - you wake up in feathers!!! On the plus side, the duvet is light AND warm, even in a cold winter you can sleep with the window open - it's very warm. The fact that it's an all-included 6-piece set is also nice. It's all 100% cotton, but while the duvet cover is quite nice, the pillow shams are rather basic, low-grade cotton. It's better than nothing though... All-in-all, not such great quality item in the long run...

I feel bad writing such a negative review but I am writing this SO PEOPLE WON'T WASTE THEIR MONEY! I have purchased a down com. from overstock before and love it. BUT THIS ONE WAS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. It was extremely CRUNCHY, hard, and felt like a motel bedding's nightmare. I'm a southern girl and not picky at all and even this was horrible for me. The sheets were starchy, the feathers were SHARP, and the pillows AND comforter were COMPLETELY FLAT! Anyone who wrote a great review obviously never had a great down comforter. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU ABSOLUTELY DON'T, DON'T, DON'T, GET THIS!!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

I think this set is a really good buy for the money. I just shook the comforter a few times and it fluffed right up. The material is soft and the comforter is lightweight, which I like. I would definitely recommed this set to a friend or family member. Comfy!!

My girlfriend and I recently became members of Overstock.com. The site is impressive, their products are exceptional,ordering and delivery from begining to end are a pleasurable expierience. We ordered this 6 pc. comforter set this month(March) along with other items. This perticular comforter set is truly a bargain for the price. The comforter(king) is quite comfortable and warm(no need to wrestle with your partner for the covers...LOL)The Duvet cover protects this luxurious item. The pillows are also down and equally as comfortable(like sleeping on a cloud puff).Shams are also included in the set. Overall,I would have to say this set is definately fit for a king!...Thanks Overstock.com!

This was one of the best down comforter I've purchased in last couple of years. We used it just day after received it - It has no odor smells at all! Comforter perfect for all weather . Covers are very soft. the pillows were nice extra as well. DEFINITELY worth the money. and shipping was very fast as always. Thanks!

I was looking for a quality set for my new loft and this is definitely it. I highly recommend this product. Bed Size: Queen Size purchased: King - I wanted to make sure I had plenty of "extra" covers. The king sized comforter fits nicely on my queen bed and when centered it covers the sides of my mattress, not any longer. So I recommend that you purchase a size larger. Climate: Mild spring and autumn, very cold winter (it's 12 degrees and gusty today) and humid hot summers. - So far this comforter has done quite well since spring, and we are moving into the 1st winter I have been using it. . I keep my thermostat set on about 65 in the winter/ 72 in the summer. In the summer it was cool and crisp feeling and never got too hot. Shape - This comforter has maintained its loftiness and shape quite well. I've not noticed any shifting through the baffles at all. I fluff it daily. It took about 4 days to air out both the comforter and pillows( they had a mild odor when received), and after a month no odor. Pillows - I read all the comments prior to purchase and the pillows were the most complained about item. I find them very nice. Since April I have only found 5 total feathers from the pillows or comforter. They have stayed lofty and I use them daily. I recommend with any feather/down pillow that you use a pillow cover and then your pillow case over top of it. Both the pillow cases and duvet have good seaming and all 3 have washed very well with minimal shrinkage. Overall - I highly recommend this set, especially for the money.

This is my first down comforter, and I absolutely love it, I ordered the king size for my queen size bed and it's a great fit. It looks great and it's very comfortable and warm, we are trying to keep our electric bill down and we have electric heat so this comforter sure was a good buy. Love it!

I am in love with the comforter in this set! The duvet and shams did wrinkle once I washed them, but it was nothing the iron couldn't fix. The comforter was flat when I received it, but after a few shakes and a few days it fluffed up and is super super comfty! A king size covered my queen mattress perfectly. The pillows are a bit smaller than I had wanted, and you can feel the feathers, but I found that putting a protective pillow cover over the pillow and under the sham it helped mask the feathery feel and smoothed out the texture. Overall, this was a perfect buy at a very reasonable price. I certainly would recomend buying one.

I am ver particular about my bedding and have to say that Overstock knocked it out of the park with this one. I read a ton of reviews on this before my purchase and was amazed that some people wrote such horrible reviews. The fact is you will not get a better deal anywhere else. I can't believe some of the negative reviews. It just goes to show you that you cannot please everyone. I assure you these items are exactly as described! I did take the advice of many and ordered a king for my queen and was very pleased. The pillows are 95% regular duck feathers and only 5% down feathers but they are for decoration only hence the shams. I already have 100% down pillows so it wasn't an issue for me. The material is soft and comfy. This is the perfect comforter for average climates. Get yours now or you will regret it.

this thing is cheap. The sheets and pillow cases are alright but the comforter stunk and looks like it was stuffed with rat nesting material. the squares were not even filled to half capacity with stuffing. AWEFUL.........no complaints with overstock.com though....they dont make it....they just sell it.....

This down comforter, duvet, pillow cases and pillows arrived today. I am crazy about this set! We live in Texas and I have found other down comforters to be too heavy here even in winter. This is my third purchase of a down comforter from Overstock and this is my favorite. I spread it out on my bed and gave it a few shakes and it puffed right up. The duvet cover and pillow cases are a lighter-weight thread count, however, we are going to use the duvet under another silk duvet we ordered as a protective cover and use the pillows in the cases that came with this set under our high thread count pillow cases. The pillows that come with this set are really pliable and just the right thickness. The box stitching on the down comforter keeps the feathers in place very well. Would highly recommend if you live in a warmer climate! I do recommend going up a size so the comforter covers your whole bed. I have found a queen comforter still shows the side boards. The king we ordered is perfect for our queen bed!

The comforter, duvet, shams, and two pillows sounds like a great deal for less than sixty bucks. I guess it is... THE BAD: -The pillows are too small to come close to filling the duvet shams. Plan on buying a set of "real" standard sized pillows for that purpose. -The duvet is nothing more than cheap sheets you can see through. To do over; Id rather spend a little extra to buy a higher quality Duvet. -The fabric is cheap but it's nothing a great set of sheets can't remedy... THE GOOD: -Its complete and cheap! -The Duvet is big enough to tuck under/inside the modern platform bed matresses.

We've been using this product for over a month and I have to say that we're extremely pleased with it. The baffles prevent the filling frm clumping together. The pillows are soft and "squishy", yet have body and firmness at the same time. The only problem we've had comes from the duvet cover and is a minor headache: the buttonholes are too large, so that two or three of the button closures need to be redone every day. Again, that's a minor problem and one I can repair myself when I get around to it. I'd recommend this product to others. In fact, I already have.

this is a great set! very warm and cozy, even during freezing temperatures. i recommend doing as i did and purchasing a king size set if you have a queen size bed. The duvet quality is fair to good - as others have said the material wrinkles quite a bit. Also as others have said, the pillows are pretty obviously not top quality...but after putting a 2nd pillow case on them I actually find them to be quite comfortable!

I received this yesterday. It seemed very flimsy at first but did fluff up nicely and was very comfortable to sleep with. If you have an oversized mattress or use a featherbed, you may find this to be short, as I did. I am keeping it for the comfort, but will need to add a coverlet to disguise the short length on my mattress. Nice and soft, not too heavy; otherwise, it was just what I was looking for.

The comforter is very nice, but the pillows are absolutely horrible. Why bother? They make noise, are scratchy and the feathers poke out everywhere. Even through the pillow cover. These feathers are chicken feathers not down or duck, etc. So this set did not make for a good value.

I love the feel of this comforter and slept in such comfort that I need to buy another one.

The comforter is wonderful and soft - a great deal. The pillow feathers though start coming out and stab you in the face.
