Down and feather-filled products are packaged tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove this item from its packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours for full loft recovery. In addition, products sealed in plastic packaging sometimes have a disagreeable scent because of concentrated natural fibers. A few hours of airing typically removes the odor.
We recommend that this item is fluffed at least once a week to maintain down distribution.

I have been sleeping with a body pillow ever since I was pregnant with my son almost 21 years ago. They were always the poly filled as they were inexpensive & I didn't mind replacing them as I didn't really have time to get "attached" to them because they smooshed down so quickly. My Husband became tired of having to go to the store about once every 6 weeks to purchase a new one and told me to look for a down body pillow online and he didn't care what the cost was in the end it would probably pay for itself.WOW!!! He was right. When the box arrived I was amazed at how big it was all I could think was, "OMG, they sent a feather bed not the body pillow", I was mistaken I opened my parcel to find the softest most comfortable body pillow I have ever seen let alone owned.I love it! it really helps me at night as I am disabled and need to have one of my knees elevated higher than the other, this combined with my ritual of sleeping with a body pillow for 21 years meant that this thing was going to have to hold up well.I waited to write my review after I had the item for a few months so I was over the initial WOW factor to be sure I still felt the same way. I do, this is by far the best body pillow ever made. It does mold to you during the night but just shake, square up and place back on the bed for that brand new feel. The cover is so very soft that a pillow case is unnecessary.I recommend it highly. I look forward to buying one for our son as he is a body pillow person as well and he has a feather on that most mornings is on the floor as the feathers poke him. Not mine! Here's hoping he doesn't read this review before Christmas.Get one or two, they are awesome!!!Read More
I bought this knowing from the reviews that it wasn't as long as an actual body pillow, so I'm not disappointed. If you need something longer than a king-size pillow to rest a leg on or something, this is very comfortable, well-made with nice material. But if you need a full-length body pillow, this is not for you. Great product and service from Overstock.com, as usual.Read More
I can't say enough good things about this body pillow and I have tried several different brands! The amount of fill is perfect. It has a lot of body or firmness for support but is also wonderfully soft. The cover is excellent. This has been great for my back and overall sleep. I loved it so much that I ordered a second one. I would highly recommend it to anyone using it for back or knee support. The length is also perfect and not difficult to move around at night.Read More
I just received my pillow yesterday and last night was my first test drive of it and all iI can say is I am so happy I ordered this pillow. I am a 6'0" male and this pillow is just the right size to cuddle up with and still support everything like my legs and my neck. Plus as soon as I left for work in the morning my wife nabbed my pillow and told me "You better order yourself another one of these pillows because you are not getting this one back."Read More
I have used body pillows for 30 years-since my pregnancy-and this one is the absolute best for support, durability and comfort. This is my second-I left my first one at a hotel and ordered another. There is no comparison to the cheap foam pillows. This pillow stays where you put it, so a shoulder , back or your neck can be supported. The cover washes beautifully and the pillow fluffs in the dryer, though it hardly needs more than a shake. I use two pillowcases put on from opposite ends as covers-standard or king work fine. If you are interested in a body pillow for support, this is it! It's also a great pillow for my mate and me to use while watching TV. He piles his pillow on top and likes the support to his back. The pillow is great for side sleepers because it's long enough to put between knees and still support arms without being overwhelming. The best.Read More

LOVE MY BODY PILLOW. SOFT AND PERFECT FOR A GRAND NIGHT'S SLEEP!!!Read More
I do not have the flattening issues some others have reported. It smooshes down like any pillow would, but as soon as I pick it up and put it back down, it's back in shape. Pillows are subjective...if you like them super soft or super firm, you probably won't like this. I found this to be just right. The length is a bit shorter than my old body pillow, but not by much. It is bigger than a king pillow as someone else suggested. The measurements are true - use those as a guide. Really nice pillow for the price.Read More
I would not order this pillow again. It is too short for me and the contents squish down to much to provide any support for your legs Nice case though.... I sure after I by a cheap one at ******* and shove it in the case it will be to my liking.Read More
It's good quality and looks good on a king size bed but a bit expensive .Read More
Questions & Answers
Hello, leswol1. This pillow ships at 7 pounds. Thank you for shopping with us.
Can I get this pillow in a 60" length?
Hi uruburu1, this pillow is not available in 60 inches. Item number 15437401 is available in 66 inches. I hope this helps, thanks for shopping with us.
If I wanted to get a cover for this, would one of the 54" cases sold elsewhere on this site work?
It comes with a cover.
Thank you, I am aware of that. Although some reviews claim they did not get theirs. I noticed on your profile that you reviewed a microsuade cover as well. It is a 54" size. Did you use that cover for this pillow? I am wanting this as more of a throw pillow, so covers other than white will be important.
Yes, that one did the trick. It is a heavier fabric that would work on a sofa. Ours gets heavy use and has held up perfectly. It still looks good after weekly washes and the pillow is still full. The cover the pillow comes with is not going to be enough.
How to Wash Throw Pillows
Part of keeping a clean house is making sure all of your decorative accessories are clean. Throw pillows covered in delicate fabrics, such as wool or silk, will have to be dry-cleaned, as will throw pillows stuffed with down or feathers. Foam-filled throw pillows with cotton covers or other washable materials, however, can be washed -- some even by machine. Nevertheless, even if a pillow appears washable, always consult the washing instruction label before attempting to wash a throw pillow -- or you may be in for an unpleasant surprise when you remove the pillow from the washing machine.

Best Fills for Down Comforters
Warm and incredibly soft, down comforters are the height of luxurious bedding. Like all other bedding, down comforters can range from inexpensive to costly. The proof is in the filling. Inexpensive down comforters are filled with a combination of down and polyester or down and feathers. The best down comforters, which are usually also the most expensive, are full of pure, thick down. Take a look below to learn the best fills for down comforters. Hungarian goose down: Hungarian goose down is considered the most luxurious type of down. These extreme cold-weather birds have very thick, almost odorless tufts of down at the base of their feathers. This heavy, long-lasting down is most often used in comforters with a fill rating of 800, which means they can keep a person warm even in cold conditions. Eiderdown: Eiderdown is harvested by hand from the abandoned nests of Eider ducks, which pluck the down from their own backs and use it to cover their eggs. Eider ducks live in cold climates, so their down is thick and heavy. It is used in high-quality comforters with a fill rating of between 700 and 800. Eider duck down is the only type of duck down used in high-quality comforters. All other duck down is usually considered too smelly (and some duck down has tiny barbs) and is used in much less expensive comforters. Grey and white goose down: Grey goose down is used in dark comforters due it its grey color, but it is the same as white goose down in all other ways. Grey and white goose down, which is usually harvested from European or Chinese geese, is the most popular type of down used in middle-price-range pure down comforters. These comforters usually have a fill rating of 600 and above. Hypodown: Hypodown is a mixture of white goose down and milkweed. This all-natural filling is hypoallergenic and much more durable than pure down comforters. While pure down is still considered to be the preferable fill for comforters by most people, hypodown is gaining popularity with consumers who want a longer lasting product without synthetic fills. FAQs about Throw Pillows
Throw pillows add the finishing touch to a room. With a splash of color or a rich monochromatic theme, they can dress up or tone down the furniture in use. Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses
Down vs Memory Foam Pillows
You never realize how many muscles it takes to turn your head until you have a stiff neck, and the wrong pillow can leave your neck stiff for days. A good pillow, however, provides the neck and back support you need, and this depends on how you sleep and what you're looking for in a pillow. Compare the qualities of down pillows and memory foam pillows to see which will provide you with the comfort level you need.
