Not much more to say other than that this was a great value for the price. Just fluff it and go!

Nice Comforter
 from Houston,  Apr 15, 2010

I live in the Houston area so I needed something light and fluffy to give my duvet the desired 'fluff' look but not too hot to cover up with. This comforter was perfect for what I wanted and the sizing is accurate.

average comforter
 Feb 12, 2010

Works well, looks nice. I would rate this as just ok. Bought a Cal king size for my king bed and it seems a bit of a stretch. Covers the top matress, but that's it. It's soft and warm, does the job though. If you can get it at a cheap price i'd say it was worth the deal...but you get what you pay for.

good buy
 from alabama,  Jan 25, 2010

Nice comforter- very soft and large, as described. It isn't very thick, however, so if you're looking for something thick and pillowy, you may want to keep looking. I would recommend it though. It seems to be keeping us warm!

Amazing Warmth
from San Antonio, TX,  Jan 14, 2010

People Complained about a Chemical smell. It was more of a Plastic smell. But easily removed in the Dryer on Low heat and a few dryer sheets. The directions on the tag also say Cold water wash in Gentle cycle. (Best idea for the Dryer Low heat and add a few tennis balls to fluff it while it dries. Warmest comfortor we've ever owned, and living in a South Texas home without central heat it's been a lifesaver. Would buy more if I had more beds to put them on.

Wht. 300 Thread Count Down Comforter
from Seattle, WA,  Jan 5, 2010

Considering its 'down' (and once you're used to down you won't ever settle for less), plus 300 thread count = quite a package for the price. I'm very glad I found it!

down comforter
from NEW YORK,  Jan 4, 2010

THE COMFORTER WAS A GIFT, AND THE RECEIVER LIKED IT VERY MUCH. SHE DID HAVE A PROBLEM HOWEVER BECAUSE THERE WAS NO WAY TO SECURE THE DOWN COMFORTER TO A COMFORTER COVER . THE DOWN COMFORTER MOVES AROUND INSIDE ITS DUVET COVER.

3-season comforter
from Baton Rouge, LA,  Jan 1, 2010

I purchased this comforter for three seasons, Fall-Winter-Spring. I was disappointed it was not warm enough for my guests in December. After trying it for myself with a heavy cotton comforter cover, I too found it not warm enough (60-65 degree room). Another bedspread had to be placed over it for warmth. It would make a good Spring-Summer-Fall comforter. It is not a High-Loft comforter and does not add much plushness to your bed. The material is a little crinkly, but not disturbing. Overall, for the price, it is a good basic comforter.

Good Value
 from Tennessee,  Nov 29, 2009

This comforter is good value. We purchased this one as a gift after having previously purchased one for ourselves which is a dream to sleep under and has saved us many times its cost in being able to lower the thermostat at night.

2 thumbs up

Great for the price - really warm - the fabric or something is a tiny bit noisy as someone else mentioned, but no real big deal

down dream
 Sep 23, 2009

The comforter is fluffy and warm. It is not super thick, but that is nice for all-season use. The only down side (get it?) is that it still smells a little chemicially (I don't know what kind) after a day airing outside and about 3 weeks of use.

Lightweight
from East Texas,  Aug 15, 2009

The 300 thread count down comforter is very lightweight. Even with Texas heat, I can still enjoy a down comforter. I love that! I had read before buying that others had experienced "crinkle sounds" with their fabrics. I do understand now what they mean. It's as if the fabric is made of paper. The only thing I can think to compare it to is the "cloth" gowns or sheets some doctors have in their offices now. (Maybe not quite that severe) If you plan on covering it with a soft comforter cover, then you probably won't be bothered. Even with the crinkle sounds, I still love how lightweight it is. By the way, it's also not oversized! So, if you have one of the deep mattresses, you might want to upsize.

So far I am satisfied with this comforter. It's too warm for the summer months. Should be a good winter comfort.
