This is a good buy for the price. looks great on my bed without a duvet cover. Have a queen bed and sized up to the King comforter, which is perfect. Previous reviews complained about the noise it makes which worried me, but I have no problem with the slight crinkling sound, and would probably not even have noticed it if I hadn't read the previous reviews. Quality was as expected and loft looks just like it did in the picture on the website. It is nice and puffy and full. Much nicer compared to the one deflated looking one my boyfriend has. Have not laundered it yet, but ability to launder is a big plus. Using as a summer comforter so far so can not attest to warmth. I have been comfy with the AC on. Overall, great buy and I would highly recommend.

I read a ton of reviews before purchasing this one. I've bought many other comforters from Overstock over the years, all real down, all at great prices for down, but one thing I've found with down is that dust mites love it, and so with an allergy prone husband I decided that maybe this time we should go for something else. Being used to a big fluffy down comforter (although the down was shifting and causing empty spots... another downer w/ down...) I waited patiently when I unpacked the comforter to see it appear as "fluffy" too... all the other reviews kept going on about it being "so fluffy" but that was far from my mind when I unpacked it, even by the evening... I now realize that it is indeed very fluffy when compared to any other alternative comforter. If you're looking for big and fluffy then really nothing beats real down. Having said that though I am truly pleased with this comforter and can't believe how nice and warm it is. I wouldn't quite label it as fluffy, but it's not thin either. It has a nice weight to it, not too heavy not too light. And even though the fluffy reviews had thrown me off somewhat I found this comforter to be fabulous. And I know it's going to keep us nice and warm during our Montana winters. For this price you can't even find a simple throw so it's truly unbeatable! It did take almost two weeks to arrive after ordering, however that's just the mail system and doesn't reflect this product. Thanks Overstock!

I was so pleased even when it went through the wash. It really is stunning and very comfortable on my bed. It brightens the whole bedroom and along with the new sheets it was a very fantastic deal!

Blanket is light in weight, and very warm. I use the blanket alone and also in duvet cover. Highly recommend this down alternative blanket.

This is a nice comforter, very lofty, but it is extremely warm. I am using it in Minnesota winter and still overheating! It will certainly help cut down my heating bill.

I do like this duvet, its a good weight, its soft and not too warm. My only complaint, and it is just a little one, is that it is a bit noisey. It makes a crackly sound when you move. I am not sure if that will eventually go away but at first it is a bit annoying. Great value though!

My husband and I both have allergies therefore I prefer to have an alternative down comforter. The only complaint I have with this one is the "noise". It crunches whenever either one of us moves...sounds like we're sleeping under a blanket made of wax paper. I have bought sheets in the past that are "crispy" like this and eventually give them to my daughter and her family and she loves them. So if you don't mind the crunch, this is a great value and very comfortable....maybe I should invest in earplugs!

Was looking for a nice comforter at a reasonable price. This comforter has as much fill as an oversized comforter which gives it a really full look. Fluffed up as soon as I put it on the bed and it retains its fluffiness after sitting or laying on it. Definately looks like an expensive comforter and feels nice too. The fill does not shift so it should keep you warm in the winter. Loved it so much I bought one for my daughter, who loves to jump on it because it is so fluffy. Greay buy. Can't beat the price.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. I use this blanket year round because I get cold easily. It keeps you warm even in a really cold house in the winter! I've had it about a year, and if you have to wash it, the insides do kind of start to stick together. It still keeps me super warm, though!

Im soooo glad i bought this comforter! It is big and soft and very warm. I had to turn down my heater so i wouldnt get so hot. I bought the king size one. Im going to buy the twin size for my boys beds next time. along with the feather bed topper which i purchased and love as well. Its like sleeping on and in a cloud.

Unlike previous down-alternative comforters I have owned, this is not an all-season comforter. It is exceptionally warm and fluffy with the feel of true down. While I haven't had it long enough to speak to the break down of the filler after laundering, the box stitching seems as though it will help extend the life of the product. I would recommend this comforter as a good buy for the money.

I purchased this as a gift for one of my sons. When he got the comforter, he was extremely pleased stating it was exactly what he wanted. Since he's been using it, he has stated time and again how warm it keeps him and he's very happy with it. When this comforter first arrived I was alarmed to find the "papery" "crispy" feel to the fabric that others had reported. I also was hesistant as I spread it to fluff it as it made a crackly crispy sound like it was made out of the paper "fabric" they make those exam "gowns" out of at doctors' offices. Fortunately, after a week or so of use, it softened up and the fabric actually is a tightly woven water-resistant good thread count cotton. Will find out this week how well it launders. It's VERY warm (my bedroom is over the garage and poorly insulated and very chilly in these windy midwest winters) yet light light light and great for those of us that have joint pain and leg & foot cramps. My only complaint is that the fill is not perfectly even. The squares toward the center (where we really need the warmth) were a bit less filled that those around the outside, hence my four versus five stars. Still, all in all a great bargain with the usual quick shipping that we expect from Overstock.

Ordered as husband has allergies to our nice feather comforter... this did the trick. He did not get all stuffy last night. It is light weight, sized very well and did keep us warm and cozy. Only negitive is the material is nosiy, it maked a crinkle every time you touch it, if you have a sensitive ear, this is not for you. But if you like all the good points and noise is not an issue this is the One.... we like it fine for our home. Happy we bought it, and crinkles don't bother us...

Do not hesitate to purchase this duvet insert - it is WELL worth the money. Being something of a bedding snob (and being something of a procrastinator when it comes to returns) I was after something that I would absolutely LOVE and I found it. I am going to admit that TC did not play a part in my purchase due to the fact that this was going to be used in a very luxe duvet, and it will never be used otherwise,(but regardless, the quality is there.) True to the other reviews it does have a “crisp” sound, but any good duvet insert does at first. I had recently thrown away my beloved down comforter that I had for 7 years and it also had a crisp rustle to it when used at first, I don’t mind the noise whatsoever. Now, be aware this thing is WARM, much more so than expected. We are Michigan residents and our winters nights have been in the single digits as of late, that being said, we like our room pretty chilly for sleeping. The first 3 nights we used this comforter; we had 1000 TC cotton sheets on the bed and slept perfectly, not too hot, not too cold. BUT, then I put on some flannel sheets I ordered and that combo was WAY too hot. This comforter is full and soft and fills my duvet cover exactly the way I expect a comforter to – I would like to note that I did purchase the king sized comforter to fill my oversized queen duvet and the fit was perfect. You simply cannot beat this comforter for the price and quality.
