    • As stated by other reviewers, the second washing was it's undoing ... the sides completely disintegrated. The top is in perfect condition. Will try to sew replacement sides on the top, but not worth the trouble.

    • I would not recommend this product. The sides of the mattress pad is made out a paper like material and ripes on contact. Worse mattress pad ever.

    • Waterproof Mattress Pad

      There was a great deal of research before purchase as so many of these are just not comfortable for a number of reasons. This one even makes the bed, it seems, more comfortable and there is absolustely no tell-tale sign that anyone is sleeping on a waterproof mattress pad. Very satisfied with the purchase ... My mattress will continue in new condition.

    • Not Advertised well

      I purchased the pad from the advertisement listed for it. It appeared to be just what I wanted. The comfort of this pad is nothing but per joy...you don't even realize you have laying on a pad. However, when an accident happens...the mattress pad doesn't protect the mattress. the pad is wet and so is the mattress. I had a stain on the mattress right away. Been washed three times and had no problem there.

      This is plastic and very hot! The sides are thinner than pantyhose and they ripped first wash, and takes a long time to dry!

    • Feels So Comfortable

      I purchased this for our daughter, who is frequently "visited" by her son, to prevent accidental soaking. She finds it to be very comfortable. It doesn't feel like she is sleeping on a rubber sheet and it doesn't mash her lofty matterss pad. She still "sinks down" into her pillow top pad. It hasn't been subject to flooding, but she feels it will save her mattress just in case!

    • Saves the bed

      I bought this for my Son's bed. I've had this on my bed as well as my son at times will sleep in our bed. I expected accidents when my Son no longer wears diapers. If you want to save your mattress I recommend you get this simple mattress pad. You will be more then grateful you made the purchase. I can't even tell that I have the pad under the sheets. My wife and I sleep without worries. Very easy to clean too. Just throw it in the washer and dry low.

    • protect pricey mattress from accidents

      bought this for my mother after her fall when she was bedridden--it served the purpose well then but we kept it on the bed--just in case; good way to protect a mattress from being ruined
