Bought two twin Ivory. We were amazed at the quality when they arrived . These blankets have to be the softest, lightest, yet very warmest, blankets we've ever seen. They are hemmed beautifully so that they stay put on the bed when you turn, etc. I cannot say enough about this product. If you are in the market for SOFT, this is your answer. We are 100% pleased with our purchase...and the price is amazing for the quality.

Just got the blanket and washed it and rinsed it with a fabric softener. It smells great and me and my daugters all get under it to watch a movie on the sofa. Then at night it goes on top of their other comforter and is really warm for them. I would recommend this blanket to others.

I have now ordered 3 of these blankets total - one navy and two ivory ones. Although they feel soft in the package, that is nothing compared to how they feel against your skin when you are laying on or under one of them. They have a nice weight to them as well. I am very pleased!!

Living in new England, and the weather is getting cold, but at night, using this blanket, I have to close the valve in the radiator in my bedroom so that I can sleep comfortably. And that's saying something for the middle of November. Currently I have only one light comforter as a topper on this blanket (also ordered here on overstock). If I ever feel cold I'll move up to using my new duvet - but, thus far, this blanket is keeping to warm for all those feathers. :)

I hate to bust up all these positive reviews with a slightly less glowing one, but I'm a little disappointed with this blanket I bought in king size tan color. I liked the color and softness, both of which are like a teddy bear (literally--the fabric is stuffed animal material...although, honestly, I have seen softer and I didn't feel the softness QUITE reflected the gleaming luxury of the photo). However, after using it a couple nights I realized why it's always good to buy something with natural fibers in it--the temperature regulation is horrible. At first it's too cold, then after a few hours I'm suffocating with heat. I tried it first directly on my skin, which was sooooo soft and comfy but later had me wake kicking to get it off me (which is no mean feat, being a very large blanket). I then tried it with a sheet under, which feels too cold at first but has the same heat-trapping result, just a little moderated. So I would say that if you want the blanket to curl up on the sofa with and watch TV, it's perfect. But for sleep, I'd recommend something with at least 50% cotton or wool.

This blanket feels like a the fuzziest, furriest teddy bear you've ever touched. It's very soft and warm. The fabric is thick and cuddly, and as soft as it is, it's not quite as soft as I hoped it would be! But I doubt I'll be cold this winter. If you like plush blankets, you'll probably love this! My only complaint is that this blanket had a very strong chemical smell when I took it out of the package. I washed it and it's fine now. Definitely wash it by itself and follow the care instructions. It sheds a lot and the color might bleed.

The blankets are very soft and warm, but beware, the burgandy is a lot more pink than the picture shows--it does not work well for my boy's bed.

This is the best blanket ever!!! Warmest and softest blanket does save us heating cost! I would recommend it to anyone.

After reading other reviews of this blanket, I decided to give it a shot. WOW! What a beautiful blanket it really is, much nicer than the picture and an unbelievable value! It's so soft and comfy, I need to buy one to use for cuddling on the couch on those cold Michigan winter nights. I purchased the king size for my queen size bed and it's almost more of a spread than a blanket which is exactly why I ordered the larger size. Definitely worth the money!

I bought two of these one tan and one burgundy, wow they were super soft even before I washed them. The colors held fast during washing and besides a warming blanket for the winter this is the only blanket on both of my beds. I definitely recommend these.

I always wash blankets and sheets before using them, but this one left more of itself in the washer and dryer than I expected. I washed and dryed it three more times, before it didnt shed anymore. It is a very soft blanket, and quite nice. The color blue I chose makes it look like cookie monster is sprawled out on the bed. Funny? It is still up for debate...

Extremely warm. Very cozy. Excellent addition to my dorm room. Absolutely love it. People have started calling it "the uterus" because it's so warm and cozy...

blanket was a bit slippery until we solved the problem by tucking it under the mattress at the end of the bed. The queen size is very large and covers our 18 inch deep mattress very amply. I especially like the lightness of the blanket for the warmth it provides. Here in the mountains of Oregon we are having below freezing nights already and the blanket and wonderful flannel sheets from Overstock make for a cozy cocoon to nest in.

This Wamsutta blanket is wonderful. Very well made & high quality. Warm & cozy but also has some weight to it. The first blanket I bought was a gift for my Parents and my Sister loved it so much I just got one for her as well.

One of the two best purchases I've made at O.com! It is beautiful, big, and so warm. I have it under my microplush down spread (my first best purchase), and it is all I need during cold nights. I just wish I'd had more colors to choose from.

my search for the perfect blanket ends here. I've been searching for this type of blanket for a long long time now. I have a few of this blankets in kids size with picture of cartoon characer, but can never find an adult size with solid color or at least no disney character. I don't like comforter or quilt or duvet..They just look pretty in your bed, but not confortable. Comforter is okay, but they're too poofy. I want a blanket that molds your body. When I saw this blanket at overstock..I took a close look at this blanket to make sure this is the one and I also look at what fabric it's made of....I took the kids blanket I have and it says 85% acrylic and 15% polyester. This blanket says 80% acry. and 20% poly. Close enough for me...so I purchase two..one in ivory and one in tan..both are pretty color, but I prefer the tan cuz it won't get dirty easy and color looks soo nice. I bought the solare plush blanket also but at much higher price ..The fabric quality is better then the wamsutta luxy. , that's why I give this a 4 for fabric quality...One made in germany and the other in china,,what do you expect.....Anyways, for the price , I would definity recommend the wamsutta luxury blanket... They're almost the same..I've also purchase the supreme heavyweight fleece blanket thinking it might be thick and heavyweight like they say, but I was kinda disappoined.. It was soft but thin..wasn't the blanket I was looking for..Anyways if you're searching for a nice,soft, warm, thickness(not too thick or thin) blanket. THis is the one..I think I'm going back to purchase some more in tan...
