  • great bedspread

    I have looked for a long time for a bedspread for our queen bed. I didn't want a comforter set where a bedskirt was necessary. I wanted a bedspread that covered mattress and box spring and sideboards of the bed frame. This spread fits the bill perfectly. It does not go to the floor because we have an especially high mattress but that's okay with me. It's not too heavy but heavy enough for added warmth in the winter. It will be fine for summer use as well. It is sturdy and well constructed. The pattern even makes it easy to make the bed each day, lining up the edge of the pattern to the edges of the bed. It is well made, pretty, true to the color in the picture on the website, and large enough to generously cover both the bed and the pillows. At last I don't need to have pillow shams to make my bed look finished.

    I ordered the King size for my Cal King bed. This spread is huge and just as in the picture, drops down to the floor. It's softer than I expected. I usually buy cotton products only, never polyester, but this bedspread is very soft. Nice purchase.

  • Better than expected for the price!

    This bedspread exceded my expectations! The color is perfect (I got the blue) and the quality is superb. I have a small dog and haven't noticed her nails messing up the stitching so far. I would highly recommend this if you like light bedding that doesn't get hot. I love how it fits on my queen bed as well.

  • Excellent buy!

    I've used this bedspread for months before writing this review. The color came rich and has stayed that way through several washings. I have two cats and a Min Pin, so this had to be durable ... and it is! Withstood several washings without beading or fuzzing. The stitching has held in place. There are no stray strings or exposed sewing threads. Great buy!

  • Love the bedspread, want the shams

    I, too, was looking for a bedspread for a guest room that looked elegant, but was comfortable. I am very happy with the bedspread. I bought the blue spread/full and the sizing is wonderful. I have tried desperately to find the pillow shams pictures with it, but have had no luck!

  • Excellent on Sizing!

    I had seen a review when looking for this bedspread. They said that the king size was big enough to cover a california king size so I decided to try it. They were exactly right! I wanted a bedspread because I was sick of comforters and bedskirts (what a pain). My husband loved it too as he was tired of the bedskirt and likes the feel of bedspreads or quilts better. I got the sage green color and we both really like it. The quality seems to be very good so I think they will last a long time. It took me a long time to find this so I don't want to go on that search again for a long time. I actually bought two-one queen and one california king.

  • Great purchase!!

    I wanted a spread that would cover all the way to the floor and most kings are a little skimpy, but not this one, it is perfect!. I love the texture and the look of this spread, also the color, burgundy was beautiful. So much so that I ordered one for my son, in butter cream. Haven't received it yet but I am expecting it to be the same quality that mine is. Thanks

  • Loved It!

    I am so pleased with the bedspread. I ordered in Butter Cream and it is a lovely pale yellow that goes well with my decor. The sizing (I ordered queen) was perfect. The quality appears to be excellent. I have not washed it yet. I could not be happier with this purchase. Bed spreads, as opposed to coverlets and bed skirts, are hard to find.

  • Lots of Compliments!

    I bought 2 of these in different colors. We moved into a small apartment with little storage. We set both beds up on risers to enable us to store plastic clothing boxes, etc. under the beds. My single spreads were not wide or long enough to hide the storage area and I dislike bedskirts. I bought 2 full-size spreads to use on single beds and they cover nicely with little extra to trip feet or to look "too big". I have had several compliments on these bedspreads! They are soft, lightweight and the colors are very soft and pretty.

Not, not chenille at all. It's smooth - smoother than your regular cotton quilted bedspread, but not silky. The weight, I would say a light quilt for warm spring nights or cooler summer ones. schnugelli on May 14, 2013

It depends on the lighting in your room...at nite they look different in the day...I would say in my room more of a greeny blue...and in the evening more of a teal blue...but not baby blue at all. I have it and love it. paintonmyclothez on Mar 28, 2013

This is a bedspread that covers your pillows, which I find easy to make the bed and have it look wonderful. You can use your own creative ability to find shams that may not match exactly but have more pattern to them. I bought 4 of these spreads in different colors to Sell and Stage our home. They all held up well, washed and dried well, with no ironing, retained their colors. As to the weight, I would call them mid-weight bedspreads, perfect for over one comforter in winter. I have other bedspreads that are too heavy, these are great. contemporarymodern on Jan 11, 2013
