This robe is not what they say it is. The material is rough and the arms are short. The sewing is horrible I have already bought another robe to replace it.
FABULOUS ROBE, JUST WHAT I WANTED AND EXPECTED AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I RECEIVED
It was a gift for my sister and she loves it. She was surprised at the quality for the price I paid.
These robes are perfect for putting on right out of the shower or hot tub. Very absorbent, like a plush towel.I love it.
This is the most luxurious bathrobe I have ever had! After showering, it covers me completely and keeps me warm while drying. I love it!
much higher quality than anything I found at our local dept stores
I had a hard time searching for a men's terry cloth robe and Overstock had the perfect one and at the best price I could find. Fits perfectly and is very thick and comfortable. Just what my husband was looking for to wear this winter for trips from the house to the hot tub.
I bought this robe for my son to use at his team's swim meets. It is made of thick terrycloth, absorbent, and warm at outdoor meets. He is very happy with it, and although it was a little more expensive than I hoped, it seems to be of good quality.
it made a very nice Christmas gift and i must say i was very happy with how fast the shipping was.
I purchased this robe to have an extra one on hand for company. It was very thick and absorbent, without being too heavy for use in our climate here. Very happy with it.

Had a terrycloth robe that lasted me 20 years before dying, but finding a good terry robe these days is hard. This was the only thick, warm one I could find. The good: good weight, color (I bought the burgundy, a light burgundy) holds and is very pleasant but not pastel, fits well. The bad: sheds. A LOT. I advise washing in cold water and some colorfast detergent like Woolite before first use, then machine drying on low for a long time, frequently cleaning the dryer filter. Stitching is also a bit dodgy, easily pulling loose at points, but nothing that seriously damages the robe. Had it a few weeks now and so far so good. Minor quibble: my old robe had a breast patch pocket that was very useful but this has only hip pockets, just like every other modern terry robe I looked at. Wise up, designers. Major benefit: I live in an area where static generates very easily much of the year but esp. in winter, and Egyptian cotton doesn't generate it anywhere near as much as most robes (esp. polyester flannel) do. Made in Pakistan, if that's of any concern to anyone.
Overall sizing bad...small in shoulders but cut to fit a skinny in the bottom....large long sleeves.. ... have not washed it yet but was dissappointed in the overall quality. I would call this a seconds from a factory of poor standards.
This robe is perfect for my hubby. The sleeves are the right length. However, if you have long arms they may be a bit short on you. Works just great for the hot tub.
Most of the robes I've seen have been fleecy magnets for lint and hair, and even the expensive ones are poorly made and disintegrate in the laundry. The Egyptian cotton bathrobe I bought online is thick, tightly woven, cut well (so that it hangs properly), and completely finished on the inside. There are no flapping plackets or loose threads, and best of all, no raw serging -- all seams and rolled and finished inside, which looks better, feels better, and wears better over time. The color was accurate as shown, and an excellent value for the cost. I am absolutely delighted with this robe.
The color was less blue and more gray than I expected; the texture was rougher than I've previously experienced with Egyptian cotton.
The price is very reasonable for the heavy quality of this terrycloth. My husband is very satisfied with this robe.
I bought this robe as a present for my daughter. She says the robe is warm and has gotten very soft after a few washings. It does have an odor that is still very faint but not too unpleasant and hopefully will be gone in a few more washings.
I love the color, style, comfort and softness of the material of this robe. The color doesn't fade much when washing. My major complaint/annoyance/disappointment with this robe is that it unravels---------strings poke out everywhere. Although the robe is still comfortable and functional, it's become aesthetically unappealing.(looks old worn out) I purchased this robe less than a year ago and this began happening several months back.! continue to wear it because it serves its purpose and I'm unemployed and can't afford a new robe but i would not recommend this product because of the inferiority of the material..
Well, I was a little concerned when I took the robe out of the plastic wrapper and there was a strong odor, almost like a solvent smell - maybe a cleaning solution? So I washed it, and threw in the dryer with a couple of dryer sheets and the odor is gone. I'm actually wearing the robe right now, it's warm and comfy and does a good job of absorbing water after my morning shower. I bought the XL size, I'm 5'7" and it hits me about mid-calf. It's heavy and thick - pretty plush. I'm really pleased, except for that initial odor...I'm hoping since the odor is gone, whatever that was is gone from the fabric.
