When I first opened this package I thought it looked like an oversized bath rug. I washed it and once it was on the bed I took more of a liking to it. It is not thick so don't buy this for warmth.

This bedspread is wonderful. I Love it! It is just like what Grandma had on her beds. It is very soft and lightweight. I did take into consideration the other helpful reviews concerning size. I bought a full size spread for a queen size platform bed and it is just the right size. I doesn't quite touch the floor. The only drawback that I see is that it sheds really badly. I washed and dried it when it arrived and the lint overflowed out of the lint filter. My son said that the lint ball was the size of a small dog! And it was. After the wash we took it outside and shook it really well. There was still a lot of lint. Maybe after a few washes that will dissipate. Despite the lint the spread still looks great! I also ordered the shams. They tie at the edges which is a cool look.

I was looking for a chenil bedspread and this one had the best price. Very good deal and great bedspread.

So soft and a great summer weight bedspread. I put it on the bed before summer and just added blankets underneath so it isn't limiited to just summer use. I ordered the Double instead of a Queen by mistake but it worked out fine since one side of the bed is against a wall. Nice to not have to always use a bedskirt. Have washed it several times and just as new each time. I only order what I can wash at home so this works out great.

Pluses---it is a well-made light comforter that is worth the price and excellant for those who don't like heavy blankets. Cons---in cold weather you will need a second blanket

The blanket looks great but is not very soft like I thought it would be.

I had trouble finding a red bedspread, especially one that would hold up to the abuse of two cats. I do like the color and the cats like the soft texture, so far so good.

I have purchsed 6 of these for every bed in my house. They are better than a quilt. Why? They are soft and warm and can be washed each week. Without the 'bulk' of a quilt, it's as easy as washing sheets. They also don't 'shed' like some chenille bedspreads. Hardly any lint at all! The colors are vibrant. The spread is rugged.

This bedspread is so nice. It's incredibly soft (chenille) and it's not a comforter. Looks nice, feels nice. What more could you want? Good price, too. My grandson very often sits on the bed and plays with his legos and my granddaughter (who actually sleeps on the bed) has actually learned how to make a bed that doesn't have a comforter on top! (Progress is being made.)

I was looking for a 100% cotton bedspead which is very difficult to find. I have dogs and cats that like to sleep on my bed and I needed something that could be thrown in my washing machine as often as necessary. The bedspread I ordered and received is perfect. Even though it is cotton chenille, it is not the type of bedspread that just has intermittent chenille lines on top of a mostly empty background. This bedspread is completely filled in, which I anticipate will make it more durable than the one I ordered from another company just last year. It is also much warmer than my old bedspread. In addition, the color is nice and bright, not faded out. This is the second bedspread I have ordered from Overstock.com and both have been exactly what I wanted at the time. I will most definitely recommend your website to my friends and will continue to order other things for myself as well.

I bought this bedspread for my spare bedroom, as I had already purchased one for my own bed in sage. I've had the sage one for at least two years, so this is testimony in itself has to its durability. The color I purchased for the spare room is natural and it brings a nice touch of brightness to this room. Furthermore, this bedspread's material is neither too flimsy or too heavy, so this bedspread can be either for the winter or summer months. I highly recommend this bedspread.

This Tufted Cotton Full Bedspread is a total waste , a lint factory . There is no way that I can give zero star ratings that`s why I gave one star. Washed it so many times without even using it but the lint factory continues. I will not recommend this product to anyone. It`s not worth even if you get it for free. I have washed it with the hope that I can remove the lint so I cannot return it too. If anyone ordered this item and don`t like it, don`t try to wash it with the hope of removing the lint, it will not work... if you wash you cannot return. Highly disappointed !!!

The quality of this bedspread surprised me. I wasn't expecting such quality for such a low price. I recommend this to anyone. Other reviews complained of shedding, but that is the nature of chenille...it didn't shed any more than any other bedspread I've owned. Shipping was fast too. Thank you Overstock, you "wowed" me!

Bought this bedspread for my son's full size bed. The quality is wonderful; especially for the price. The color is rich, the fabric is substantial yet soft--the way chenille is meant to be! I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend this to anyone.

Needed a lighter weight bed spread for the summer. Shopped Overstock.com and found what we were looking for very quickly. Something that was good quality and low maintenance. Even found a size that would fit our CA King bed!

Exactly as described----no surprises or disappointments. Washed and dried right out of the box and it still looks brand new. We needed a decent bed cover at a decent price and this is it. Our little dogs get on it and I don't have to worry. Looks nice and the color is right. Don't think you will have a problem with it.

I am so pleased with our new bedspread. I was somewhat hesitant after reading reviews concerning the immense amount of 'shedding' that some experienced. I washed and dried the spread before putting it on the bed. Yes, I cleaned my lift filter frequently but there was no more lint than I have experienced when purchasing new towels. As far as the complaints about it being lightweight, I would have to disagree. It's certainly not heavy like a quilt, but the chenille tufts are spaced closely with very little fabric showing. I bought the red and the color is deep and rich. I'm extremely impressed with the quality of this bedspread.
