I purchased this for my Teenage Daughter. She loves it and I'm happy with the quality. It also fits her queen size bed really good.

This comforter is so pretty! It's brightens up my guest bedroom so much. I'm having the hardest time chosing what curtains I want because of the various options i have. can't really go wrong with any color. the only thing I would say is to get a bedskirt to compliment the comforter. Makes it look that much better! And the material is super soft. I will say the comforter is white between the colors but the accent pillow is more of an ivory/beige color. Still looks good. I purchased an ivory/beige bed skirt and just ordered a pair of wedgewood blue sheer curtain panels to bring it all together.

It is a pretty good deal for all the items however the sheets are not like the ones that are pictured they are purple like the bedskirt and not white. They are also made out of a material that is not standard sheet material & are more rough than we would like even after washing them. The comforter looks very nice in my sons room....he is happy.

The description makes it sound as though the outlined flowers are only at the top of the comforter. However, it is the reverse as the colorful flowers make up less than 1/4 of the comforter and the rest is the outlined flowers. The photo is deceiving. They show the comforter folded back so you see mostly colorful flowers rather than the black and white that makes up most of this comforter. I will say, though, the colorful flower part is lovely and the colors are accurate. If you are looking for a mainly black and white comforter then this one is for you but if you want one that has beautiful colors you should look elsewhere as the colored-flower portion of this comforter is minimal.

I purchased this quilt after searching for months for something with a white background that would look good with dark wood furniture; tried lots and lots of quilts and returned every one...until I found this one! This quilt has great colors but is not busy looking or overwhelming, is soft to the touch, of nice quality, and is large enough cover my mattress with a 3" topper, sheets and a blanket. The only thing I wish it had was the print on the backside of the shams, because I am a bit of a perfectionist and do not care for the creamy back fabric showing around the edges, but overall, I am thrilled with this purchase. The very reasonable price for such a nice set makes it even more outstanding. The decorative miniature pillow that comes with it, well...it's a joke; I threw it in the trash, but I don't care because I like the set so much.

Got this for a guest room and all my guests have commented on how pretty the room looks. The set is thin for summer, so a thick comforter underneath is what you'll need for cold winters. The colors are vibrant--teal, lime, purple, light aqua--and the white is pure white, not beige. The fabric is super soft microfiber and wears well when washed. Perfect!

Colors are exact to picture but the top half is black and white with a few spots of color, like pictured. Underside is a nice solid blue. Material is very soft but not plush and is a very light comforter. My pre-teen likes it a lot .

I was looking for a masculine bed cover with grays whites and blacks and thats exactly what I got. The splash of red adds just the right amount of color. I use an electric blanket so I wasn't looking for warmth just a nice cover. Perfect weight not bulky like some comforters. I would recommend this as a very nice coverlet like it says.....not a comforter. The shams and pillow were a nice bonus!!

This is so pretty, I am beyond thrilled. I had been eyeing for a while but decided once I read the reviews. I painted our master bedroom sort of a Robins egg blue and have been looking for something to match. This has two blues in it that match great plus a red and dark plum a medium brown and sort of a lime green with a white background. It's much more vivid then the picture. It's very soft. For the price you can't beat quality. I want something to put over my down comforter. I hate duvet covers. Love love love!

While I liked the fabric very much, the colors are actually black, white and burgundy, not red. Also, the red stripe down the center (as shown in the photograph) is actually very much right of center. If you center the stripe, the rest of the quilt is not centered on the bed.

Looking for a comforter set that two boys could agree on! Loved the color, but I really wanted a set that was 100% cotton. My youngest son convinced me to order this and the "peach skin" is soft as cotton and durable as cotton would be. Washed beautifully last week. If you have a pet, hairs may stick, but shake right off. Not only comes with a sham but a small decorative pillow with white grossgain ribbon. Great for small or big boys!

The colors are beautiful and true to the picture online. I ordered this for my daughter at college gave her boring white room a big pop of color. Very nice quality. Great purchase!

I love this quilt! I was shopping for a long time to find the right quilt, and kept coming back to this one. I'm so glad I did! It's definitely hot pink, but has other shades of pink as well. The gray and white tone it down so it's not too much. It's the perfect weight! :)

I purchased this set for our guest room. Was looking for something bright and fun. This fit the bill perfectly! Everyone who sees it compliments it. It is a great value for the price. It is not top quality, but works fine for a spare bed. I have laundered it once and let it air dry. It washed up beautifully, no fading at all. I used an extra set of white pillow shams to highlight the printed ones in the set. It makes a great presentation! I also love the accent pillow. It is a nice touch.

We order the comforter set for my daughter college dorm. She LOVES I!!!. It's exactly what she wanted. The comforter has a satin feel and contain the colors: plum, yellow, seaform green, teal and white. We will use white sheets. The multi colors will allow her to be creative in decorating her dorm room.

Okay....when the label says "Dry Clean Only" then obey! I immediatley threw it into the top load wash (might be okay with a side load) and the fill did shift and clump a bit, but no real harm done. It does wrinkle, but my daughter doesn't care. She's very happy. Was pleasantly surprised that the 'black and white' animal print was actually not white, but rather metallic silver. Adds just enought pizzazz! As always reliable delivery.

I bought these set for my 13 year old son who is transitioning from a kids room into a teenagers room. I painted his room green which looks great but I was debating what color I should get his bed set. This black and white goes with everything and it gives the room a special touch. The quality is also great. I recommend it 100%

The art work drew me to purchasing this quilt: modern line and bright yellow motif. The overall softness is a plus, but I love the little gray pillow with black and white embroidery with yellow centers. The overall look of the quilt set is quite lovely and brings sunshine to the room.

The only person that I would recommend this quilt to is a teenager. It is very poor quality. The pattern and colors don't look nearly as nice in person as in the picture. More bright white shows through than is pictured. I was very disappointed and sent it back.

Just what I was looking for. A nice weight to the quilts without being too warm. They look great in our small bedroom with white furniture. Nice, bright colors.
Out of all the bedding made, quilts may be the most diverse. Quilts are produced in all kinds of colors, patterns, sizes, styles and types. If you're looking for a quilt but don't know where to start, take a look at the popular types of quilts below to learn more about this beautiful kind of bedding. Amish quilts: These beautiful quilts reflect the Amish way of living and feature solid colors, deep hues, geometric patterns and very little embellishment. Amish quilts contain the highest quality of construction and stitching, and, sometimes, the wonderful stitch patterns (scrolls, feathers) contrast with the simple backgrounds of their quilts. Applique quilts: These quilts use a French needlework technique where fabric pieces are sewn onto another piece of material to create a design. Applique is used extensively in the quilting process and is not to be confused with patchwork. Patchwork pieces are joined together; applique is sewn on top of the whole piece. Baltimore album quilts: Baltimore album quilts came from Maryland in the early 1800s. Each block in the design of these quilts is appliqued differently, often in ornate floral patterns. Bangladeshi quilts: These quilts are made with layers of Saree cloth. Saree cloth is silk cloth used by women of India to wrap and fold around the body as a garment. The cloth is usually 40 to 60 inches wide by 6 yards long. These quilts are used as bedding or as decorative pieces. Bargello quilts: Bargello quilts are created with offset squares in an up-and-down geometric "V" pattern. The small squares of different fabrics and the colorful designs make these quilts true works of art. Hawaiian quilts: Hawaiian quilts are not pieced, and they usually showcase a large, symmetrical applique in the center of the quilt. Most often the background is white or another solid color. Patchwork quilts: Patchwork quilts are constructed of many small pieces of fabric which are put together in an improvised or irregular pattern. This is a well-known quilt style, and examples of historical patchwork quilts are found in many museums. Ralli quilts: Ralli quilts, sometimes known as rilli quilts, are traditional quilts made in India or Pakistan. There is an abundance of embroidery as well as applique on the patchwork patterns. Star quilts: Star quilts are created with a large star shape, or several star shapes, dominating the pattern. Wedding ring quilts: Wedding ring quilts are crafted in a design of interlocking rings. This pattern goes far back in history: in the fourth century it was used to decorate drinking cups in Rome. Wedding ring quilts are highly popular and make wonderful wedding gifts. If you're looking for a gift to please an engaged couple, you can't go wrong with a wedding quilt. Bedding always makes a significant gift for the bride and groom, and a quilt with coordinating Egyptian cotton sheets can be even better. View All Quilts Back to Guides Directory View All Quilts
