Simply said, I am an inferno when I sleep. I purchased this quilt in hopes to stay more cool while sleeping. So far, it's done the trick. The colors look stunning with dark grey walls. I was a bit surprised with how much of the quilt is actually white. In the online pictures only a quarter appears white. However, in person, my queen size quilt is half white. All in all, for the price, I would recommend this product.

I bought this white ruffle set for my granddaughter's bedroom. It is perfect, it is exactly what I wanted and I could not find it in any store except Overstock.com.

I am returning this set. I put it on my bed with white sheets and it looked horrible cuz of the yellow. I really wanted one that came with a bed skirt and sheet set anyway. If they're going to use such random colors, they should've made matching/coordinated sheets. The pillows were pretty cute. On my screen it is a beautiful purple but in person it is more plum but a little redder than plum. So although it was not an ugly color, I was pretty disappointed. It was kind of a silky material, not what I am used to, but seemed ok quality. Just not happy with the overall look and do not recommend.

I bought this for my son who is 5. I wanted a set that was colorful but not 'toddler like' with trucks or airplanes. He says he really likes it. It is 100% cotton and washed very well. I would say it's average for softness, maybe with a few washings it will get more soft but it is also not rough where my son would be uncomfortable. No bleeding of colors and it appears to be well made so it will last a while. I love the stripes but there is a light brown color stripe and on my computer it appears more white. I think it would look crisper with a full white stripe but the set still looks really great. Overall, great 3 piece set. Not sure it was a great deal regarding price but I liked this set much better than some of the other higher priced stores.

I was looking for a comforter for my dorm room. This is a perfect comforter, and it is super cute.. BUT the design is much different than you see displayed in the picture! The comforter is a dark blue on the reverse side, and the black and white flowers are on the top, and they are an ombré (fade) into the deep blue and purple flowers. I still really like this comforter a lot, and I would recommend it to any one who likes deep colors that light up a room!

I recieved my order and was kind-of disappointed, the colors were not what I had thought they were. It looks darker in the picture. I ordered a different one (black and white) and decided to keep this one to give to my grand-daughter. They are both Christmas gifts but I may change my mind and send this one back.

It's decent quality for the bucks, the sheets are a little cheesy(that new nylon) but the comforter will serve her well over the winter months to come. It looks great in her white and pink bedroom theme.

Zebra print with purple and black is hard to find. My granddaughter has her heart set on this color combination. I was so happy to find this combination for her at a good price and good quality. She is getting a new bedroom after the first of the year and she is going to be so excited.

perfect for Houston area. It is light weight. I bought queen size for queen bed. When quilt is on the bed the flower pattern is less than half so the photo looks like they used a king size quilt on a full size bed. The quilt only hangs down past the mattress and not to the floor. I love this quilt because it is so colorful and brightened my room with the yellow and white. The gray color has a brownish tint to it.

I really am pleased with this purchase! My daughter wanted one of those super-colorful rooms with all the bright colors, and while she wanted a pink comforter, we decided to try this one. Love it! It's definitely a lighter comforter than we're used to, but she has fuzzy sheets for winter. I love the color, and the throw pillows are a great quality and so cute. We paired this with a tailored orange bed skirt, hot pink sheer curtains, hot pink sheets, and I ordered some fabric to cover her old throw pillows in fuzzy hot pink and then an orange-white-pink floral cotton fabric. I wish I could upload a photo because it turned out so cute! The night table lamp has an orange base and hot pink shade. The blue of this comforter really adds another. cooler dimension to this wild color scheme, while the lime green is a great accent color. I love the feel of the bedspread, too. I think the little green throw pillow is my favorite piece.

I purchased this quilt set for my granddaughter's bedroom for when she stays at our house. She is only two, but I wanted something that was cheerful but not so childish that another guest would feel uncomfortable staying in the room if I needed the extra bed. This works perfectly. I am an Interior Designer so be aware that these colors are all just a bit "off" from what you may find as current color trends for the younger crowd. The green is not a lime green but instead an avocado green, the purple is more eggplant, and the orange is more of a brick red. Still beautiful, but just a little harder to match up accessory colors if you want a real colorful splash. I used a pale blue wall color with off white curtains and an off white dust ruffle. It turned out darling.

Comforter is good for the price. My tween son loves the look. Sheets are very thin. There was no laundry bag included as pictured. Good choice for kids room or dorm.

Got this for our elementary age son when moving him to a new room. We'd painted the walls a light grey even before ordering this coverlet set, and the grey in the coverlet ended up matching perfectly. The red, blues, grey, and white in this coverlet are great together and the block patchwork are masculine without being overbearing. It is 100% polyester, but it's a matte (v. sheen) almost microfiber like softness. It lays well on the bed and looks very nice. We got the full/queen for a full bed and there is ample overhang on the sides, though not as much as in the stock photo. Appreciate a throw pillow was included. Only reason not giving a 5-star review is unknown durability, and there were some loose threads that needed to be picked off or cut. Would recommend and buy again.

After reading most of the reviews on this product I finally decided to order. Wish it had been a little less $$ but the colors and style appeared to be what I was looking for so I finally decided to go for it. My initial hesitation to order was based on some reviewers saying the quilt was not as thick as they had anticipated or that it was not a heavy-weight quilt and therefore would require an extra blanket underneath during the colder months. Quilts, by nature, are not super heavy or thick so I wasn't sure what people were expecting and was worried that maybe it was cheaply made. Well, nothing could be farther from the truth. In decorating my 4-year old son's "big boy" room we went with a nautical theme. I had a hard time deciding on what quilt pattern to go with so I ended up ordering 4 (yes four!) quilts from different sites and decided I would make a decision when they all arrived and I could see them in his room, against the painted walls, curtains and other decorations. Of the four quilts I ordered, this one was by far the heaviest/thickest and the only one that was a "true" quilt. What I mean by that is that it is constructed of actual strips of fabric that are sewn together, just like an old fashioned quilt. The other three quilts had a "printed on" design that made them appear to be separate strips of fabric but upon close inspection you could see that they were one large piece of fabric with a quilt-like design. To be honest, this did not bother me about the other quilts as I was not hung-up on it being a "true quilt" but was more concerned with colors and matching his room. In fact, I almost thought the fake quilt designs would be better for a 4-year old boy as I was concerned about something getting caught on the stitching of the "true quilt" and possibly snagging the threading that holds the strips together. I did end up choosing this one (even though it was the most expensive of the four I had ordered) because it was the best match color-wise for his room and had a grown-up enough look that he wouldn't outgrow it in just a few years. It is extremely well made and heavy (for a quilt) and will likely hold up for years to come. I should also note that it looks different in person than in the photo (Overstock: you really should put a close-up pic of the fabric on this one!) though the colors are just as vibrant in person as in the photo. The difference is that what appears to be a light blue stripe is actually a small light blue and white gingham pattern and what appears to be a solid tan stripe is a very thick fabric (almost like denim) that also has some navy stripes running through it. That said, I actually liked the "surprise" patterns of these two fabrics in the quilt as they added character and matched other things in the room perfectly. I am overall very happy with this quilt and even though it was the most expensive quilt I ordered, it is still the best quality and far less $$ than the quilts sold on other popular sites (hint: initials PBK).

I bought this comforter set to brighten up our guest room which has 3 creamed color walls and one grey accent wall with silver curtains. It totally changed the entire look of the room. Yellow is vibrant and white is bright. It is not of supreme quality but for the price was perfect. I did lightly iron it when I got it as it was quite wrinkled when taken out of the package. Love it. Totally worth purchasing
Out of all the bedding made, quilts may be the most diverse. Quilts are produced in all kinds of colors, patterns, sizes, styles and types. If you're looking for a quilt but don't know where to start, take a look at the popular types of quilts below to learn more about this beautiful kind of bedding. Amish quilts: These beautiful quilts reflect the Amish way of living and feature solid colors, deep hues, geometric patterns and very little embellishment. Amish quilts contain the highest quality of construction and stitching, and, sometimes, the wonderful stitch patterns (scrolls, feathers) contrast with the simple backgrounds of their quilts. Applique quilts: These quilts use a French needlework technique where fabric pieces are sewn onto another piece of material to create a design. Applique is used extensively in the quilting process and is not to be confused with patchwork. Patchwork pieces are joined together; applique is sewn on top of the whole piece. Baltimore album quilts: Baltimore album quilts came from Maryland in the early 1800s. Each block in the design of these quilts is appliqued differently, often in ornate floral patterns. Bangladeshi quilts: These quilts are made with layers of Saree cloth. Saree cloth is silk cloth used by women of India to wrap and fold around the body as a garment. The cloth is usually 40 to 60 inches wide by 6 yards long. These quilts are used as bedding or as decorative pieces. Bargello quilts: Bargello quilts are created with offset squares in an up-and-down geometric "V" pattern. The small squares of different fabrics and the colorful designs make these quilts true works of art. Hawaiian quilts: Hawaiian quilts are not pieced, and they usually showcase a large, symmetrical applique in the center of the quilt. Most often the background is white or another solid color. Patchwork quilts: Patchwork quilts are constructed of many small pieces of fabric which are put together in an improvised or irregular pattern. This is a well-known quilt style, and examples of historical patchwork quilts are found in many museums. Ralli quilts: Ralli quilts, sometimes known as rilli quilts, are traditional quilts made in India or Pakistan. There is an abundance of embroidery as well as applique on the patchwork patterns. Star quilts: Star quilts are created with a large star shape, or several star shapes, dominating the pattern. Wedding ring quilts: Wedding ring quilts are crafted in a design of interlocking rings. This pattern goes far back in history: in the fourth century it was used to decorate drinking cups in Rome. Wedding ring quilts are highly popular and make wonderful wedding gifts. If you're looking for a gift to please an engaged couple, you can't go wrong with a wedding quilt. Bedding always makes a significant gift for the bride and groom, and a quilt with coordinating Egyptian cotton sheets can be even better. View All Quilts Back to Guides Directory View All Quilts
