Loved the colors and design of this set, but was disappointed when we received it. The comforter is a slick cheap polyester and the sham was no more than a polyester pillow case. Looked cheap and not a very comfortable fabric. We returned it right away.

I wish I had read the details a little better when buying this bed set. The comforter is great and washes well. The sheet set is polyester as well. My daughter hasn't used them yet, but they feel like they could be uncomfortable if you are used to cotton sheets. If you are buying for the comforter alone, I highly recommend. We will probably not use the sheets though.

I love this set and bought it for the summer to cheer my room up after the last cold winter. It has definitely achieved what I wanted -a sunny cheerful bedroom. It is also just enough for the summer without being too heavy.

This is such a decadent bead spread. I live the softness and the weight is perfect for snuggling into! The colors are beautiful and I am looking forward to accenting the room to compliment it. The whole experience was positive, fast delivery and safely arrived to my front door!

This is a terrific comforter set, worth more than its pricing reflects. Nice and soft, adding color and lightness to our guest room. The only problem I had with it is that the queen set only had one pillow sham instead of two but am asking for a replacement which I'm sure will be provided.

Like the colors...but very light comforter...not very warm as it is polyester. But it is soft and plyable...did not want to get one of those cheap stiff comforters. So just use an extra blanket.

The colors are not as vibrant as the picture, but this is the softest quilt I have ever owned! For the price, excellent quality.

I was pleased with the overall appearance of this product. I ordered it for my son and he really likes it. My only complaint is that all the materials are polyester blend (comforter is dry clean only) and the sheets are a polyester blend too which could become very hot in the summer months.

We returned this comforter set on basis of colors not as shown in the online description. We are graphics people, so our monitors are calibrated for color accuracy, by the way. Aside from a somewhat polyester-feel in the shell fabric, which is honest, in that it is in fact polyester, I have no other criticisms.

It is a lightweight material that has a polyester/nylon feel to the outside and a bit softer on the inside. It's a cute pattern but it does have skulls, which some Moms don't like.

Very nice. My daughter loves it. Product matches picture. It fits her 14" pillow top mattress. The sheets are soft, but they are polyester not cotton.

Very soft polyester blend... Love the colors and the styling. I have no washed them but the stiching seems to be tight and straight.
Fri Feb 21 00:00:00 MST 2014lexiesmom825 Rating:3.0
Nice colors and good value, but because it is polyester, the comforter has more of a sheen/swooshy feel like shiny pants rubbing together. Not as cozy as cotton.

Choosing bedding is a personal decision; when it comes to your comfort while lounging and sleeping, no one knows you better than you. Bedding is available in all sorts of materials, including satin, silk and polyester, but two of the most popular materials for bedding are cotton and wool. Made of all-natural fibers, either cotton or wool bedding will make your bed comfortable, cozy and beautiful as well as suit your individual tastes.
Warm and incredibly soft, down comforters are the height of luxurious bedding. Like all other bedding, down comforters can range from inexpensive to costly. The proof is in the filling. Inexpensive down comforters are filled with a combination of down and polyester or down and feathers. The best down comforters, which are usually also the most expensive, are full of pure, thick down. Take a look below to learn the best fills for down comforters. Hungarian goose down: Hungarian goose down is considered the most luxurious type of down. These extreme cold-weather birds have very thick, almost odorless tufts of down at the base of their feathers. This heavy, long-lasting down is most often used in comforters with a fill rating of 800, which means they can keep a person warm even in cold conditions. Eiderdown: Eiderdown is harvested by hand from the abandoned nests of Eider ducks, which pluck the down from their own backs and use it to cover their eggs. Eider ducks live in cold climates, so their down is thick and heavy. It is used in high-quality comforters with a fill rating of between 700 and 800. Eider duck down is the only type of duck down used in high-quality comforters. All other duck down is usually considered too smelly (and some duck down has tiny barbs) and is used in much less expensive comforters. Grey and white goose down: Grey goose down is used in dark comforters due it its grey color, but it is the same as white goose down in all other ways. Grey and white goose down, which is usually harvested from European or Chinese geese, is the most popular type of down used in middle-price-range pure down comforters. These comforters usually have a fill rating of 600 and above. Hypodown: Hypodown is a mixture of white goose down and milkweed. This all-natural filling is hypoallergenic and much more durable than pure down comforters. While pure down is still considered to be the preferable fill for comforters by most people, hypodown is gaining popularity with consumers who want a longer lasting product without synthetic fills. Cotton comes from the same plant family as the hibiscus, and it provides the material for the majority of bedding in production today. From 100 percent cotton sheets to fabric blends that include silk, polyester, and even bamboo fibers, cotton provides soft, durable bedding in a wide range of quality and price. Here's what you need to know while you shop.
A good comforter is an essential item for any comfortable bed. Although both offer durability and warmth, there may be some debate between down comforters versus alternative down comforters concerning which one is right for you. When choosing a comforter, consider factors such as cost, warmth and aesthetic appeal to help you make the right selection.

Women's suits are often part of the professional dress code, and many offer the choice between skirts and dress pants. Although women's suits need to be professional, a variety of fabrics and colors keep wardrobe options fresh and offer you the ability to pair your suit with existing blouses in for a new look. Even if you work in a casual setting, it is wise to have a women's suit on hand for special occasions. Look for flattering skirt styles. Many professional offices observe a conservative dress code, and skirt suits are dressier than pantsuits. Keep dress suits simple and classy in neutral colors such as navy, beige, black and brown. Skirts should be hemmed right above the kneecap or just below it, and suitable blouses for conservative skirt suits are high-cut to avoid showing too much cleavage. To ensure skirts look flattering on any figure, look for styles that offer waist reinforcement and lines to provide structure. Pick a pantsuit. For more casual settings, a pantsuit is professional and comfortable. Look for pants that are straight-cut or slightly flared at the hem to pair with heels or dress boots, and try a high-waisted style for a structured look. Pleated pants look best on ultra-slender women, because they can bunch around the waist and stomach area. Choose appropriate fabric. For year-round wear, a dress suit made of worsted wool keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The high-quality wool fabric is soft and lightweight and commonly comes in such colors as gray, black and navy. For summer, a lightweight suit made of seersucker or linen creates a crisp appearance and provides comfort in warmer weather. Additional suit fabrics to choose from include wool blends, polyester-cotton blends, cotton and synthetic materials, such as polyester and rayon blends. Get a great fit. To get the most flattering suit for your body shape, note the areas of the body that need special attention. For curvy women, suits with wide necklines, rounded lapels and double-breasted jackets balance out the body. Suits that have pointed lapels and straight-cut jackets, skirts or pants mostly flatter tall, angular women. Petite women can create the illusion of being taller with solid-colored suits and those that feature a subtle pinstripe pattern. A-line skirts are flattering to women of all sizes because they hug the hips and slightly flare out at the hem, balancing out the body. For those who use duvet blankets year-round, duvet covers allow you to change patterns and color to match every season. Along with the decor of the bedroom, a duvet cover may enhance the ambiance of the entire room or supply it with rich colors and textures for the ultimate comfort factor. If you purchased an expensive duvet, covering it throughout the year will keep it in good shape and allow you to wash it without compromising the batting. Look below to learn the best duvet covers for each season. Spring: Once the evenings start warming up, lighter fabrics like satin provide sheen and style to any bedroom. Satin duvet covers are most often comprised of fabrics like nylon, rayon or silk to provide durability as well as comfort. For spring, lighter colors, including pastels or variations of cream and beige, brighten the room. Summer: During warm summer nights, cotton duvets are one of the most common fabric choices. Light and airy, cotton is also easy to clean and comes in virtually every color and pattern. For the summer season, try a white duvet cover, which will make the room appear more open and spacious. A cotton blend that contains polyester is also an ideal choice for summer, because it is soft, requires simple washing and does not wrinkle. Fall: For the fall season, a duvet cover that is warm enough for intermittent chilly nights is an ideal choice. Microsuede duvet covers offer a soft feel to bedding and come in a variety of colors. This material is easy to care for and machine washable. For fall, choose earthy colors like beige, brown, dark green or burgundy for a seasonal look. Winter: A luxurious duvet cover is a favorite option for warmth during the winter months. Velvet is a soft fabric that comes in a variety of rich colors and provides plenty of insulation for cold nights. The luxurious texture looks good in any style of room decor. For winter months, choose deep, rich colors like burgundy, plum, forest green or chocolate to enhance the room. View All Duvet Covers Back to Guides Directory View All Duvet Covers
It is important to find a comfortable skirt to wear to the office that is appropriate yet stylish. Skirts are a staple of any wardrobe; they are also one of the most versatile pieces of clothing and can be worn with sweaters, blouses or jackets. Depending on your office dress code, conservative or casual styles may be appropriate, so choose styles and colors that fit into your existing wardrobe. Wear long skirts for cooler weather. While the most popular women's skirts are hemmed around the knee, cold winter months are a great time to wear longer skirts. Formal long skirts, especially those made of silk or velvet fabric, are probably out of place in the office. Stick to cotton, twill or even wool fabrics for a professional look. Ruffles and pleats can also give long skirts a feminine touch. A-line skirts are the best shape for most women because they create a waistline and widen at the hem, balancing out larger hips. Select flattering skirt sets. To ensure your skirt looks as professional as possible for the office, find a skirt set with an accompanying jacket. You can pair the skirt set with any type blouse, including silk, cotton or polyester. For a clean look, wear a skirt and jacket with a blouse that easily tucks in and does not create a bulge or pull around the skirt waist. You can also pair women's skirts with separate jackets if you want to mix up the wardrobe. Choose a slimming pencil skirt. One of the most common and fashionable skirts to wear is the pencil skirt. It pairs nicely with a variety of blouses, sweaters and jackets, making it a versatile part of the wardrobe. The pencil skirt is flattering to all body types, from very thin to curvaceous women. The skirt's silhouette is straight at the waist and narrows at the knees, allowing it to hug all of the curves of the body. Look for a pencil skirt that has a slit or pleat in the back near the hem to allow for increased movement while walking. Find an appropriate casual skirt. Casual skirts can be professional and dressy enough to wear to work. For the office, look for skirts made of cotton, khaki material, linen or even wool to provide a comfortable option. Keep casual skirts mid-length, allowing them to fall either slightly above or below the knee cap. View All Skirts Back to Guides Directory View All Skirts
