My 16yr old loves this comforter set, which he received for Christmas. It does have a "satin feel", but the colors/pattern is very nice. Overstock.com shipped it quickly. Overall, not a bad deal at all!

Quilt is actually a full/queen And not Queen as listed. I was very disappointed to say the least, when I retrieved the item from the shipping box to see the 'Full/Queen' label on the item. The Material is very thin and nothing even remotely similar to a 'Quilt'. This is more like a very thin comforter - similar to something you would find in a crib. I gave it an average rating because if you are looking for something decorative for a 'full size' bed this would do the job.

The quality is ok. Felt like a lightweight sleeping bag. I bought the full and used on a full side bed and it was barely big enough to cover the sides of the bed. I loved the color but wished it were bigger so I sent back. Each side did not cover the sheets and definitely did not reach the bed skirt.

Material is a little thin and not quite as bright as picture but overall it is very cute and a great style and good deal for a kid or teen bedroom.

Good bed in a bag for a kid / teenager. Decent quality, but not so expensive that if they ruin it you have to worry. My daughter loves the print, and the fabric is soft.

I ordered this for my 7-year old grandson (who had still been sleeping with a Sponge Bob comforter) as an early Hanukkah gift. I thought it was time to upgrade to a more teen/adult looking comforter. My daughter just had his room painted a grayish blue so it was such a nice match. It also came with an extra throw pillow in navy blue and white. Love the way it looks. Now if I can just get him to allow me to buy him a nicer lamp. He still has the lamp he had when he was born - the crib set I purchased had a lamp and curtains to match. He loves that lamp and won't let me buy him another one!

I purchased this comforter as a gift for a little boy who loves Guitars. It was one of the view I could find. It was reasonably priced and quality great. The only problem I had with it, and this was not a product issue. Is it has skulls on the comforter and you could not tell in the picture. For a teen I don't think this is a problem, but for a 4 year old...not sure how well it will go over.

We love this comforter set! We purchased one for our toddler's room and the colors are perfect. With the exception of the red being slightly darker than it appeared on our computer screen, it was exactly what we expected. He has been using it for the past 8 months or so and it seems to be holding up extremely well. I would say it is not a thick quilt and would not do much in the way of warmth. We use it more decoratively when the bed is made. The stitching is holding up really well and we haven't noticed any stitches coming apart but if you used this as a blanket for sleeping I'm not sure how it would fair since we fold it at the end of the bed for bedtime. I would definitely recommend purchasing this if this is look you want. We have been extremely happy. It's exactly what I was looking for.

the set is pretty nice. I ordered 2 because my boys have a bunk bed, the sheets are soft and kind of satiny. the blanket is comfy but is not very thick. it is fine for us since we live in Florida, but it would not be a very warm blanket if you live in a colder climate. overall it is a handsome set.it is a pretty good buy.

I've had my Monica comforter set for about 2 months now, and I'm really pleased with it. One thing to note is that the pink is more of a coral; on my monitor it looks hot pink. The set looks gorgeous with my cherry-finish bedroom furniture. The overall effect is youthful and chic. I'm in my 50's, but no one who has seen my bedroom thinks the bedspread looks juvenile. In addition, I like the fact that the comforter is not super-warm -- it's just warm enough to be comfortable in a cool room. Oh, and my black cat looks gorgeous lying on the little pink pillow. :)

Bought this to update my thirteen year old son's room from a juvenile comforter set. When I told him plaid he wasn't impressed, but when he saw it he was thrilled. Good quality and so comfy! Purchased the Tommy Hilfiger lobster sheet set to go with (we live at the shore) and it couldn't be a more perfect fit.

Comforter is same colors as shown, but the full/queen shown barely covers a full size bed and is too small for a queen.

I sent this one back because my daughter bought my granddaughter a full size bed. I bought the full size because it was so beautiful.

Color is true. A little short, more of a full size than queen.
Sat Jan 11 00:00:00 MST 2014cedarcr Rating:5.0
Love this quilt we bought for a full-size bed. The quilt is a full/queen size so it adds more to the sides of the bed. I would never buy a regular full-size again. It's medium weight which is fine--and very soft. Grandson loves it, too.

I love the pattern of tis comforter, but it does it is very short. I expected it to hang around the sides. I ordered a full/queen- it's more a full than queen size.

There are many educational toys and games that help children learn better listening skills. Children often have difficulty developing good listening skills, and by playing educational games with your children, you can bond with them and guide their learning. Many electronic learning and educational toys encourage independent learning while still focusing on listening comprehension. By using the numerous educational games and toys available focused on listening skills, children can learn while having fun. Board games: Board games require kids to listen to a set of rules. To play, they must retain the rules they just heard. Instead of letting the kid read the rules, read the rules to them. Have them repeat the rules back. The practice of repeating and using the rules they've learned helps reinforce their ability to listen and remember. Video games: Age-appropriate educational video games work similar to videos, music and other auditory games. These games can be played alone or with others. Video games can be played on most game consoles, on computers and through many websites. To complete game tasks, kids must listen to and remember instructions. Auditory games: Games such as "Simon Says" or "Bingo" require kids to listen in order to play. If they don't listen, they can't perform tasks correctly. Children like to win games, and games that focus on another player stating steps or have an audio component to state tasks and steps will encourage kids to improve their listening skills. Play these games with your child to help make the games more fun. Books: Books can be turned into games. Read a book to a child and ask questions afterward. For every correct answer, provide some type of award. If reading to a group, turn the questions into a group game. Many books focus solely on improving listening skills, such as riddle books which require kids to listen to and remember all details before they can solve the riddle. Other books include guessing games such as "20 Questions." To guess the answer, kids must remember the answers to the 20 questions. Videos and music: Many movies, shows and songs are actually full of games. These games require children to listen carefully to perform the desired task. Typically, these tasks include saying a certain phrase or doing a certain dance or exercise move. These tasks build upon each other to develop kids' ability to remember what they've heard. Normally restrained decorators tend to let loose when decorating toddler bedrooms. After all, the color and pattern palette of kids' furniture and bedroom decor tends to be far more diverse than those for adult bedrooms. You can begin with a few large pieces of kids' furniture, such as a toddler bed, kid dresser and storage shelving. Add a theme or a palette and work from there or just add some simple textiles and wall art for a few decorative accents.
