Does this pillow have a design on it? In the picture is appears to have a faint stripe pattern on it. But does it really? Or is it more of a swirly pattern?
I've had this pillow now for over 3 years, and it's time to replace it. It was very comfy, but it has lost it's "loft" and fill power and is basically flat now. I didn't expect it to flatten out so soon, (I've had other down pillows last quite a bit longer) but it was comfy while it lasted....

Down and feather-filled products are packaged tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove this item from its packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours for full loft recovery. In addition, products sealed in plastic packaging sometimes have a disagreeable scent because of concentrated natural fibers. A few hours of airing typically removes the odor.
We recommend that this item is fluffed at least once a week to maintain down distribution.

These are wonderful pillows for the way I sleep. Like to scrunch up the pillow. They are very soft so would not be good if you like a firmer pillow. Fluff up very well. Must be fluffed everyday. Very happy with this product.Read More
The pillows are not worth the price as advertised. They do not meet my expectations.Read More
L-O-V-E my pillows. I miss them when I travel. I have recommended them to tons of my friends. My son steals one from my bedroom every so often. I am going to order a set for him.Read More
This is the second down pillow that I ordered. The first one was too flat and was returned. This one was better with more down in it. I need to say that I ordered this same pillow 2 years ago and was able to compare the new one with the old one. The old was had more down and was less expensive. So in two years the fill went down and the price went up.Read More
THESE ARE BELLA LUX BRAND PILLOWS! (It's a very high-end luxury brand, marketed to the very wealthy). If you can find a better pillow than this, buy it. I would have given these a hundred trillion star rating if I could:) I discovered these @ TJ Maxx a year ago, labeled "Bella Lux" brand. There were 6 in the store. I bought 4, figuring I'd go back & pick up the remaining 2, if I really loved them. I went back the next day to buy them, & to my dismay, they were long gone. For the entire year since, I've been sleeping in total, indulgent luxury, and searching for more of these pillows, to replace some of my other down/feather pillows. (Some are too flat, others are too heavy/lumpy/hard). This is the absolute PERFECT amount of down fill. Well, as perfect as can be, because really, "perfect" is based on individual's opinions- There will always be some people who think there's not enough fill, and others who think there's too much fill, etc. I've owned down & feather pillows for 20 years- I've paid $200 / pillow. None come close to this pillow's quality- I've owned this exact pillow, & slept on it nightly, for a full year. It's the absolute, ultimate perfect pillow! I always get Queen size, because I like to align it sideways with my head/neck/torso, & scrunch it up to sleep on. Sometimes, I'm so exhausted I fall asleep on my back, & I wake up the next am. with this cloud-like cradling sensation of my head & neck. I just purchased & rc'd 4 more of these from overstock- They are perfect perfect perfect! I'm going to buy 2 more, to save for my daughter to take to college with her. Definitely make sure you purchase zippered covers for them- It might not seem like you need them up-front, but 5-10 years from now, you'll be very glad that you've kept these treasures covered. I take the covers off to launder monthly. Oh, and by the way- When people are complaining that the tiny feathers are escaping the cotton fabric, that's a GOOD thing- It means the down clusters are so incredibly tiny (high loft), that even a solid sheeting of cotton doesn't contain them completely. And, we're not talking about any amount of down leakage beyond .0001 % of the fill. It's inconsequential, except that it's the indicator of a VERY high quality fill. The cotton fabric is a very high thread count (= nothing much to get between your head & the pillow! Makes for a very soft pillow). And, the edges of this pillow are also very well-constructed- Flat edged, double-fine stitched. I can't say enough about these magnificent pillows. Gazillionaires pay $2,000+ / pillow! They are getting a pillow that is roughly equivalent to this one. Live like you are mad-wealthy. Buy a few of these luxury pillows, & let o.co know that these pillows are in continual demand! Thanks for reading my pillow novel. Sleep well :)Read More
Not down, but down and duck feathers. One of my shepherd's has a habit for chewing the corner's out of pillows. The price was right, but these pillows are not comfortable. I actually think I over-paid for the quality of the product I received.Read More
I like everything about this pillow. Soft, not to few, not too much down inside. My head feels as if on a cloud, when I sleep on my side or on my back, or on my tummy. Always nice. Fits for standart bedding sizes. Did not have any bad smell initially. For people with sensitive neck area, as you can form this pillow right for your particular feeling at the moment, though it gives a good support and doesn´t push my head back to chest, when I sleep on my back. I will order 3 more, this one was a pilot project.Read More

How to Wash Throw Pillows
Part of keeping a clean house is making sure all of your decorative accessories are clean. Throw pillows covered in delicate fabrics, such as wool or silk, will have to be dry-cleaned, as will throw pillows stuffed with down or feathers. Foam-filled throw pillows with cotton covers or other washable materials, however, can be washed -- some even by machine. Nevertheless, even if a pillow appears washable, always consult the washing instruction label before attempting to wash a throw pillow -- or you may be in for an unpleasant surprise when you remove the pillow from the washing machine.

FAQs about Throw Pillows
Throw pillows add the finishing touch to a room. With a splash of color or a rich monochromatic theme, they can dress up or tone down the furniture in use. Choose throw pillows to complement or contrast your decor. Pillows should suit your lifestyle as well. Change the throw pillows for an inexpensive way to change the look of the room without giving up furniture.
Down vs Memory Foam Pillows
You never realize how many muscles it takes to turn your head until you have a stiff neck, and the wrong pillow can leave your neck stiff for days. A good pillow, however, provides the neck and back support you need, and this depends on how you sleep and what you're looking for in a pillow. Compare the qualities of down pillows and memory foam pillows to see which will provide you with the comfort level you need.

Best Fills for Down Comforters
Warm and incredibly soft, down comforters are the height of luxurious bedding. Like all other bedding, down comforters can range from inexpensive to costly. The proof is in the filling. Inexpensive down comforters are filled with a combination of down and polyester or down and feathers. The best down comforters, which are usually also the most expensive, are full of pure, thick down. Take a look below to learn the best fills for down comforters. Hungarian goose down: Hungarian goose down is considered the most luxurious type of down. These extreme cold-weather birds have very thick, almost odorless tufts of down at the base of their feathers. This heavy, long-lasting down is most often used in comforters with a fill rating of 800, which means they can keep a person warm even in cold conditions. Eiderdown: Eiderdown is harvested by hand from the abandoned nests of Eider ducks, which pluck the down from their own backs and use it to cover their eggs. Eider ducks live in cold climates, so their down is thick and heavy. It is used in high-quality comforters with a fill rating of between 700 and 800. Eider duck down is the only type of duck down used in high-quality comforters. All other duck down is usually considered too smelly (and some duck down has tiny barbs) and is used in much less expensive comforters. Grey and white goose down: Grey goose down is used in dark comforters due it its grey color, but it is the same as white goose down in all other ways. Grey and white goose down, which is usually harvested from European or Chinese geese, is the most popular type of down used in middle-price-range pure down comforters. These comforters usually have a fill rating of 600 and above. Hypodown: Hypodown is a mixture of white goose down and milkweed. This all-natural filling is hypoallergenic and much more durable than pure down comforters. While pure down is still considered to be the preferable fill for comforters by most people, hypodown is gaining popularity with consumers who want a longer lasting product without synthetic fills. Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses
