Bought these and the bath towels. The hand towels are larger than average ones. Color is great. Doesn't fade after washing. Wish they were somewhat fluffier and more absorbent.

These hand towels are larger than most hand towels which is great for our needs. They did not shrink up when I washed them and have stayed true to color.

Bought Green Tea. The Fern was listed that day but doesn't have a color match in picture. Green Tea has a slight yellow cast. But it's a nice green overall. I wanted Linen or a tan but they only had the two greens and chocolate. I use these as kitchen towels. Wash them on super hot and no softener to begin with and if there is any sizing that prevents the towels from being absorbent should be cleaned out and have no more issues with that. I will be careful not to use bleach or bleach products on these towels. But I have three towels out at all times and it is nice to have a double set of matching towels to keep them clean and rotating through the laundry without having to change out different colored sets. This is great for that. Also they are a bit larger than the ever shrinking sizes of hand towels seem to be edging towards these days. And that's a number one plus for us and our expectations. Wash HOT 1-2 times to get rid of any sizing or dye material and you'll find they are absorbant. Don't bleach the dark or medium colors. Try Oxyclean style products if you need some stain boosting power...avoid softeners if you can as they often clog up the absorbancy too. (They make a static/anti static cloth you can wash with natural fabrics that help keep them softened if you have hard water like we do. Usually good for over 200 washes.)

Love the green tea color....like a fern color...toned down and.nice. Large thirsty towels that compliment the pale pink textured towels I also bought from the O.

Cameo blue is actually teal...it may be my monitor but it looks pretty blue on my screen. They were very, very large and don't even come close to fitting in my towel rings (and they are pretty decent sized). They are almost double the size of normal towels. Quality was ok but not great.

These HAND towels are huge, so large that I use one as a bath mat! They are absoebent,nice quality but way to large for the hand towel ring.

The towels are not as soft as I expect, but still OK. Color is very nice, true to the photo. The loops catch easily , but I hope that won't cause fraying.

The towels are thick and heavy, which may give the illusion that they are also absorbent. When they didn't seem to be very absorbent, I performed the following test: I compared the weight of a wet towel at the end of a wash/spin cycle with that of a wet, thinner, older towel. The latter was much heavier -- confirming that these towels aren't as absorbent as they should be

The towels rate five stars but the Cameo Blue color pictured is misleading. The towels have a greenish cast and would not work if you want the color as shown. I kept the towels because they do coordinate with colors in my wallpaper. If you need the color as shown in the picture you will probably be disappointed. The towels are of a good weight and size. Order if you know the color will work for you.

Thougth these towels would b e smaller as they were advertised as hand towels... they are a little larger than I expected. Color is darker than I thought and I am not too impressed with the fabric. I thought they would be softer . Nothing awful but I am a bit disappointed in them.

I have previously obtained luxurious cotton towels from this site. The color and fabric quality were as described. I was unprepared for how rough the texture was against the skin. I thought after a few washes they would soften a bit but they remain asstiff as ever. I am pretty sure they will last a long time.

These towels are extremely heavy and very absorbent. The colors are true and the size is ample.

Love these "hand" towels that are much bigger than normal size. They washed beautifully, no mounds and mounds of fuzz after washing. Drier lint catcher was near clear! Would highly recommend.

I was surprised at how large the hand towels were. They are almost the size of bath mats. They are great quality, well made. I can't recommend them enough to anyone who is interested in them. The color is true chocolate brown as well, not like some who are different to what is advertised. I was pleased that the postage was very fast.

I should have paid more attention to the details in the description for these towels -- missed that extra-large size! Having purchased bath & bedding from Overstock in the past, I knew the product would be to my satisfaction or replaced (at no cost to me) -- might I insert at this point, that I love, LOVE, LOVE O's customer service! When I received them, I almost fainted at the size. My family doesn't use the big bath blankets that some like, but regular sized bath towels. These "hand towels" could have easily passed for a child's bath towel. Since I was actually looking for regular sized hand towel, I asked 'O' and was able to return and receive credit for my error! So, to celebrate, I purchased something else -- of course, from 'O'

The hand towels are larger than we are used to and very thick. After washing and drying them for a month, they are a little easier to handle. My grandkids can use the washcloth for a hand towel.
