They are a tad on the heavy side but that is what "800 grams" means isn't it? I have had these for over a year now and love them. The most recent purchase was as a gift. These are excellent towels for drying you off as well as numerous other purposes of the moment such as a quickie blanket in case of a sudden cold spell with a power outage. I also used one to keep a casserole warm while I drove elsewhere for dinner. My cats have a way of working fabric with their claws and did not unravel these towels (like they did on my terry robe and some other less well made towels).

I'm not super impressed with these towels, but that is probably because the bath sheets I had previously purchased were a hard act to follow. The color I ordered (chocolate) is very nice and the towels do have some weight; however, they are not nearly as thick or as plush as I would have liked. I was also disappointed by the fact that upon their first washing, one of the towels came out with several large snags.

I have been buying the regular Egyptian towels and now these bath sheets. They are excellent quality - particularly for the price. They also wash very well. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

If you want to surround yourself in softness and warmth after a bath or shower these are the towels for you. They are massive, soft and extremely absorbant. Be prepared..these towels are not for weaklings..they are heavy:)

Shipping was quick and on-time as promised. Product was as offered but to see such excellent BIG bathsheets (large towel) was still a shock in this age cutting back size and quality to make a buck. Not here maybe be the best towel I ever purchased.

These towels both feel and appear extraordinary. Unfortunately, on the very first wash one of the towels discolored and by the third wash another was unraveling. I bought two sets of these and of the four bath sheets two are history. Don't chance it!

I wanted large bath towels, but these are actually too much for me. They are too large, too thick which makes them heavy and bulky. Very pretty and good quality, but too much.

I ordered the eggplant towels. The color was perfect and true to the picture, just what I was looking for. I have washed the towels twice but when I dry my face on them I have purple pills all over my face. I hope by continued washings, the towels will quit shedding. They are not as absorbent as I'd like them to be, I have found this to be true with other 800 gr. towels but they are very soft on the skin. I'll wash them a few more times and enter an update.

Just what I wanted for my large body and Great quality. Will order another set, soon.

Wonderful bath towels, extremely absorbant and feel great to the touch. Heavy for a towel and it just wraps itself around you, one swip up and down and youre done, no drips.

These towels are just the greatest I have ever used. It's as simple as that. I've been sending these to family members around the country because they're grand. You will not be disappointed.

They are large, thick and soak up the water. Everything is as described.

We've had the towels now for several weeks. They are very thick and lush. Almost too much; which makes them less absorbent than some lower gram towels. The colors are exactly as represented. Some folks rated these poorly because when washed they "fell apart". We did not find any problems with the towels, except they are a bit heavy. Great towel for the price and very lush.

Don't know what to say. They're towels :))) But we use these more than other towels in the linen closet, and we've been happy with them. They seem to be sturdy, and the color is true to the image onscreen (we have the green tea color). They aren't incredibly soft, but they are quite absorbent.

Love these huge bath sheets! So many stores do not carry bath sheets, or if they do, they want too much money for them. I bought 2 sets of these bath sheets and they are definitely as described. Very heavy, thick, and absorbent. If you want to wrap this around you after your bath and feel like you are at a spa, buy these! My husband is a larger guy so regular towels are too small for him. These are perfect and he is pleased to not have to use small, thin towels : ) I bought them in "Sand" and "Cameo Blue". The picture is very true to color. If you are looking for a bath sheet and are tired of checking out the big box stores, look no further. These are exactly what you are looking for. So glad I bought two sets of them, I will probably get another set in one of the same colors I bought or maybe in the white or ivory? The green tea looks pretty, so if someone gets that, please describe if they look true to color in the photo : )

These are great, big and he color (purple) is perfect! Love them and would buy again!

The towels are a bit stiff...not as fluffy ( cotton quality)as described. Would not purchase again.

...........As sheets go, these are okay--adequately thick and absorbent. But they don't seem to be any better of a quality than I could purchase at any local department store so I was just a tad bit non-plussed with this item. You get 2 large sheets and I'd call them "good", but not "supreme". Also, the plum color which I ordered is not as vibrant a purple as depicted--it has a brownish hue to it.
