We bought the giant bath sheets in white and really liked them, so I decided to get a colored set of regular sized bath towels. The plum color was a bit darker and murkier than I expected but we were ok with that. However, the first time we washed them (following the instructions from The Queen of Clean for laundering towels, even!) the dye completely ran. And not just an oh-well kind of overall color bleed, either. Now the towels look visibly streaked in varying color tones. Very disappointing.

Towels are extremely absorbent with a very tight weave. They wash very well but because of the density of the fabric, they take longer to dry.

These towels are oustanding! They are heavy and of excellent quality at a terrific price. I have found they do NOT take longer to dry in the dryer as some other reviews had indicated. Nice extra large size that absorbs well. A bit too heavy for my husband but perfect for me!

So far these towels are quite nice - thick and absorbant and they seem well made.

These are soft and thirsty towels. I'm using them exclusively since they arrived.

My husband got me a set of these towels for Christmas last year. I really love how thick and thirsty they are. Most cheap towels will have already started falling apart at the edges. I waited to review, as I wanted to see how long they'd hold up. So far, they're great. I'm going to get more in another color for a different bathroom. Super buy!

These are so nice and thick that I am thinking about buying another set for my upstairs bath. They held up really well in the wash and left hardly any lint in the dryer. My husband said you don't realize how nice it is to have thick towels until you actually have some that do a great job.

I bought these towels as a gift for my wife! she washed the towels they came out beautiful,soft and fluffy. The color was chocolate rich in color.

These are a nice value. The color was exactly as pictured. You would expect a thick towel at 800 gram, and these are very thick and heavy, which gives them an expensive feel. Almost too heavy, though, so make sure you really want a heavy towel. They are not as soft as some, but certainly are not rough, either. Just that good, heavy, cotton feel.

I was most impressed by these bath towels, they are, thick, long and high quality!!!

For some reason these towels snag on my bracelet. My other towels don't. It is soft and thick and looks great hanging but I won't order more. If they were not wrapped in bulk, I would have returned some of them. They are not as absorbent as I am used to, and they take a long time to dry. I did not have the dryer lint problem that someone else mentioned, and I washed before using and they came out fine (someone complained about threads hanging). I cut the snags from my bracelet and you cannot tell. The main problem is the absorbency. Perhaps that will change with time. They are much softer than my other cotton towels.

I previously bought a 900 gram towel set from O.com the these towels were amazingly thick. I did not want the wash cloths or hand towels but the 900 gram towels were only offered as a set. I bought the 800 gram towels as an alternative but they seemed half as dense. On the other hand, the 800 gram towels did get softer with use.

Ordered these towels in white. They are a good size and have only become fluffier with each washing. I am extremely happy with how absorbent they are and have not seen any signs of wear at this time (3-4 washings). I would DEFINITELY buy more of these!

I have never owned 'expensive' towels so maybe I'm the novice but these towels are THICK. They definitely feel like high quality. I bought the cream color since I read some reviews about the color running. Cream towels stain easier which is a bummer because I need to wash them alot more frequently. My only real complaint is that since they are so thick, they take a long time to dry both when they are on the rack and when they are in the dryer. My dryer is brand new and it has a sensor for dryness so it keeps them in there for a while. I usually just put them in before bed. I was using one of those "No damage" hooks in my bathroom for my towels and these towels ripped that hook off in about 5 minutes! haha. They are heavy!

These towels are wonderful. They are thick and thirsty. One wash cloth came with part of its rolled edge undone, but I can fix that. I would certainly purchase these again.

Larger than average bath towels, we love the green. No fading after 3-4 washings. I hope they continue to get more absorbent and fluffy as I continue to wash them.
