This was my first time using Overstock.com. I bought this comforter for my mother who has been a cold person most of her life, with cold hands and feet. Whist sleeping she was always bundled with sweatpants, socks, tons of blankets and comforter, etc...She never had a down comforter, so I wanted to get her one to alleviate the need for her excessive bundling. As my father, they are still married and sleep in the same bed, is like most men, a warm sleeper, and warm in general. I bought this for them as it breathes and keeps a person at an optimum temperature without waking them up. The synthetic filler comforters I have purchased in the past didn't 'breathe' and interrupted my sleep. I'm not a sound sleeper so I need to do what I can to minimize waking up during the night. My father, the warmer sleeper is kept comfortable as well as the cold sleeper.My mother is enjoying the down comforter as it is keeping her, in her words, 'toasty warm'. I highly recommend 'down comforters' to others, this one has fluffed up very nicely, doesn't have any odor, and is breathing well for her while asleep.Be careful not to get one that is not 100 % down, as some are with feathers that poke out and can scratch and hurt. Also some stink. Fill power indicates how many ounces of down are in it and that tells you how warm it be for you. As we live in Los Angeles, with mild winters, level 2 works great for my mother and myself. Loft is how fluffy it will be, of course I want a very lofty comforter as its just softer.hth-

I fluffed it out on my Balcony for a few hours. In the cool crispy air it became even nicer. I let it rest and breath in my second bedroom overnight before using it. Now it's absolutely Wonderful.

This item was an INCREDIBLE value and we are so greatful for Overstock! The material is very soft, it has a subtle/slight soft sheet to it. We ordered a King size and it fits like a California king; which we like because it hangs down a little more to cover the top mattress all the way and a little further on both sides. The fill power is perfect for us, not too light and not too much to make us sweat. It's very comfy and fluffy. We highly recommend this product.

The comforter is perfect when it comes to temperature control. i keep my apartment at 76 (in Arlington texas) and i never feel hot. it's soft. it's comfortable. and it looks good.my only problem was i ordered a king and got a queen and have no time to return it. otherwise i think overstock is giving a great deal.

I bought this as a gift but ended up keeping it for myself. I am going to purchase more. They are perfect for a cold CA night!

I really wanted to like this comforter. My optimism carried me to the point of disregarding other people's negative reviews and spending the money only to have previous reviews confirmed. The comforter is indeed very thin, to the point that it felt like the comforter was just a duvet cover. It came out of the box, and went right back in less than five minutes later to be returned. It's too bad, the price was great at nearly 60% off, but I can't even imagine someone paying full price for this.

Had this for over a year now - it is incredibly warm (winter sleeping only!) and is really puffy. I put it in the washer (even though the instructions are dry clean only) and it did fine... although it does lose a few more feathers now than it did before. Definitely worth it as a purchase - probably the best down comforter I have owned.

Came out of the box and looked like it would fluff up. It did eventually but after using it for a few weeks it went flat. After having it for almost a year, it is completely flat and you wouldn't even know that it has feathers in it. It works as well as having only a top sheet only. Do not buy this comforter.

At first, it was fluffy and kept its shape...but now it is very thin. I wish it would have stayed super fluffy.

This is my 3rd one. I had bought one for me and one for my husband a few years ago. We love them. My aunt needed a new comforter so I recommended this one and bought it for her. She loves it too. It is yummy on chilly L.A. nights. It does not lump in one place but rather the feathers are distributed well throughout. I do change to a lighter one for the summer months. Overall--great comforter and great price.

This comforter is the perfect weight. Not heavy on your legs. when the bedding is pulled. back and not too warm. I love it.

The picture shows this comforter to be full and luxurious. Not at all a true representation. It definately won't fill out a standard duvet cover and we will be returning it.

I purchased this down comforter for my supima cotton duvet. It was very thin but suprisingly warm. I almost returned it because it wasn't very fluffy but ended up just adding it with another comforter inside the duvet. Turned out perfect like that and in the summer I will only use the down I think. If you want fluffy don't trust the picture on this item and purchase a different more expensive one.

We received this this week and The length is great but the width is way too small. I have a Cali King and we're getting a King bed soon and I know it'll be too short on the sides and too long at the end. Rotating it will not help either. I love the color and texture tho and I would recommend it but get the Cali King for Queen size. It's not as long on the sides as it looks nor as fluffy.

in the picture, this comforter looks like it is a soft blue--see contrast with white pillows in picture. It's fine IF you want a white comforter-- I didn't., so I am sending it back. disappointing.

Bought this as a gift for my father. He really likes it. Keeps him warm in this cold winter weather. Would recommend this comfort highly.

Its nice doesn't keep me as warm as I would like but not bad

I really like my down comforter. It isn't as thick as I thought it would be but it provides just enough weight, like I wanted.
