I'm convinced that we are all getting different sheets, most likely from different vendors. There is no way anyone could say the sheets I received are not soft, thick and plush. I know everyone has different standards but I'm sure we can all agree on what is soft and what isn't. I usually buy 1,000+ thread count sheets but times are tough and I really can't justify making a purchase like that right now. I've read so many reviews where people state that their 400 thread count were better than the higher thread count sheets so I thought I would give it a go. These sheets are fantastic and I'm happy I took a chance on them. I'm really sorry for all those that got the "bummer" sheets - I hope everyone's quest for the perfect sheet is successful.
Sheets started to "pill" after only a few nights and cotton not as soft as promised. Very disappointed in this product. My only disappointment in all the years I've ordered from O. Couldn't send them back because they were used, so I'm putting them at my camp to use when we are desperate!
I have only had these sheets for a couple of months but so far they are holding up well. They get softer every time I wash them. I ordered the Gold color, I was afraid it would look mustard yellow and it DOES NOT. They are gold and I like the color. I'm sure you could buy softer and better quality sheets, if you have a lot of m-o-n-e-y...... I don't and even if I did I wouldn't pay big $$ for sheets. These sheets are better than average, cant go wrong with cotton. I'm very happy with them and would buy them again.
These are really nice, fit my pillow top real well. I have washed them about 4 times now, they seem to be holding up really well. So far not piling. They do wrinkle just a little, mostly on the top pleats, but not enough to make me want to iron.
The only complaint I have w/ the sheets is the color. I ordered the sage, and it is an olive brown. Unfortunately, I did not return them because of company arriving for the weekend. If the color was a true sage I'd be completely happy w/ them. They have a nice medium weight , and would be really attractive in the right color. I would tell my friends to try these sheets out in any color but sage!
Love these sheets! I got the linen colored sheets and they fit very nicely with my comforter set. I love supima cotton because it's an extra long staple cotton grown in the US. Egyptian cotton may or may not be extra long staple-there is no regulation in place to properly label it. Supima cotton is known for being super soft and strong, all of my sheets are supima or pima cotton.
Sheets appeared very nice at first. Comfortable to sleep on and color was what I expected. Unfortunately hey started to pill after only two washes. I expected better quality for 400 thread count. I ave higher thread count but they are too heavy and hot for summer
Very hard to find good sheets these days as the cotton, even if listed as supima, is just inferior. These sheets also were so chemically coated that when I unzipped the package, it was noxious. This is another problem with many sheets today. These will be returned.
The sheets are a deeper gold than I expected and a great deal shinier. I think the shine and color make the sheets look less expensive and of poorer quality. I intend to keep them as I need replacements but don't think I would purchase them again even in another color.

The fabric is okay...nothing to write home about! The corners are way too shallow! Why would Overstock.com sell something so outdated? Trying to give 'em away, but most of my friends have new beds that have deep mattresses. I'm disappointed and will not purchase sheets from Overstock again unless they specifically mention the corner depth.
