I purchased this sheet set in August. Did not use it immediately. Washed them in November and the fitted sheet elastic came unsewn inside the entire rolled edge! While the color, pattern, style is lovely, I can't recommend this product because it did not hold up to one single, normal washing. Should have lasted several years!! Very sad that overstock.com would not exchange or refund me for a defective product, citing past 30 days purchased. :-(
I read that when choosing sheet sets, it's more important to look for the type of cotton and then consider the thread count. Supima or pima cotton and longthen weave cotton are supposed to be good choices. So that is why I bought this 300count Supima cotton sheet set. I don't have any other sheet sets that are more than 300 count, so I cannot compare. But I am happy with my purchase. The color cafe or coffee which I selected goes very well with the Havana duvet cover in mocha that I also purchased here...Both for less than $100 total (forget exactly how much I paid). But the quality for the price is good for me.
I'm not sure exactly how bad they are because I sent them back before I used them, but they are papery thin. I also did not realize they would have a windowpane effect, but that's probably an oversight on my part. The real issue is that they aare so very very flimsy.
If you want to see what it is like to buy three-figure name brand sheets, this is your chance. They are made by a famous maker of luxury linens. The windowpane pattern is nice enough, and the feel is very smooth. After washing/drying, the cotton weave is still very soft but it does wrinkle. This is not an issue for me, but you might not like that. Supima cotton, I learned, comes from the USA, but US mills can't weave the finer fabrics like used in these sheets, so it goes overseas to India or China, where it is woven into the final product.
I like the feel and the fit of these sheets. I had to wash them twice before use since they smelled funny when I took them from their package. it is too soon to evaluated how they are going to hold up but they are looking good at this point.
I had never bought any Supima cotton sheets before. I seen these and liked the design and the price and decided to try them. I am in love with these sheets!! They stay soft and cool throughout the night! Perfect for me!

We purchased the Supima Cotton 300 Thread Count Sheet Set to go with a new comforter set we purchased also on OS. The colors looked just like they did online and these sheets are good quality, durable. They've withstood many washes so far and haven't thinned out at all, so we definitely recommend this set if you're looking to spruce up your bedroom.
