I think that sateen is better
I thought I was really indulging myself with these sheets. They are very soft. However, if you have even slightly dry heels or any razor stubble on your legs, every movement can be scratchy. I don't think that it is necessarily this product, but rather, satin sheets in general. I would definitely go with sateen instead of satin.

Description Was Deceptive
I came to Overstock looking for silk or satin pillow cases. When I saw the Super Silky Satin Sheet set for the offered price, I went for it. Once I received the product, the invoice and packaging read, "...satin-like". I could obviously see that the fabric was not satin at all, but a bad imitation of satin. If the product had had the phrase "satin-like" in its description to begin with, I would've looked elsewhere. I am still going to keep the sheet set because I can never have too many, but I am still shopping around for either satin or silk sheets. As far as recommending the product to a friend, I'd have to say, "If satin is what you desire, you shouldn't buy these or you will be disappointed."

Not silky
I did not find these sheets silky, or much like satain. What I can say is that they are shiny like satain. They just don't feel like it. I kept them because they give the look I want and the price was decent. Just don't expect them to be silky smooth.

Great Buy
First purchase from Overstock. I bought these sheets with low expectations so I would not be disappointed if they didn't work out. I could not believe the feel and quality. They are very soft and made very well. I already washed them one time and they seem even better than before. Great buy.

sheet set
It is a beautiful set and smooth but if you have any callous on a foot or any skin that isn't perfectly smooth, the material will grab that spot and it is annoying. Otherwise a lovely set worth the price.

Microfiber....
I do not recommend any microfiber sheet set. Period. I thought I'd take a chance because I was curious. Yuck; stick with cotton.

YUCK
Put them on the bed and after sleeping on them one night, I took them off and haven't used them since. Fabric snagged easily just putting them on the bed. I have already sold them in a garage sale.

Cheeper then the cost
Somehow these sheets look cheap. They do not fit across the bed too well.

OK but will not buy again
When these sheets arrived I loved the silky feel to them. As another person mentioned if your feet are not perfectly smooth they can catch on the sheets. Also the fitted bottom sheet slips on the corners...I have a pilow top mattress and added another topper to give my mattress some depth and that sort of worked...the sheets would be better off with elastic on the corners. I've been satisfied with the sheets until recently when I noted that the bottom sheet started to pill very badly..to the point that I threw them away. If you don't plan on keeping the sheets for more than a year they will be a decent buy otherwise try something else (I got some permanent press sateen sheets on Amazon that I love)
