We really like the light weight of this comforter. I get cold and my husband gets hot, but it seems to keep us both happy. We live in Northern California so this is a winter comforter for us. My only complaint and the reason it didn't get 5 stars is that the distribution of the wool doesn't seem to be uniform throughout the comforter. There is one corner that is much puffier than the others and a couple of other spots where the wool is thicker than the rest of the comforter. It's odd, but it doesn't seem to change the performance of it. And no dust mites in wool, so these two allergy sufferers can sleep comfortably.

This is not my first wool comforter, but it IS my first "summer weight" one. The catch? The cover is made of something very much like sails are made of: an incredibly heavy, unbelievably stiff, canvas-like fabric. As a result, I would NEVER classify this as "summer weight," even though it has far less wool than my "winter" comforter. It will obviously last forever.
