The fabric is sturdy and the colors are great. It's a perfect light cover. The pillow covers have slightly more quilting which I liked.Read More
This quilt is really nice for the price. I was a little disappointed when I got it because the colors are definitely not as pictured. Yes, there are greens and blues, but there is also rust brown colors in it that are not visible in the picture. I almost returned it for this reason, but the browns go well enough with my brown furniture so it looks fine.Read More
love this quilt set. Matches the daybed set I ordered. Both the daybed and bed are in the same room. Good match.Read More
This quilt is great for the summer, it is light and very true to colors on screen. Very happy with our purchaseRead More
Very heavy and well made. Color is same as picture shown. I don't like that the cover is overly long going top to bottom but side to side it is way too short. The sheet/mattress shows if I put it on to be even on each side. So I have to pull cover so at least the one side is covering the mattress properly. That's why I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Bad sizing.Read More
We needed a new comforter / bedspread that could be washed almost weekly, would not show hair from our black and yellow labs (so solids were out), and that was not too expensive in case said labs decided to nibble (they have been known to do that....). On top of that, it had to go in a very dark blue room and not be too girly. Not so easy to find! This product met all those requirements. It's been washed once and other than about 2-4 inches of shrinkage (on the king size), it came out ok. Time will tell how badly it will fade or pill with repeated washing. It still covers the mattress, just not with the same extra hang (although my husband thought it was a little long out of the bag anyway). We also really like the weight and the feel. In the winter we will need to put a heavy blanket under it, but for summer it is perfect.Read More
Nice, light-weight quilt. Colors are close to the picture, the green is a little more green than sage, and the blue is not as muted as in the picture. Pillow shams have side-opening with ties instead of buttons. Overall, very pleased with purchase and price.Read More
It's hard to find a king size quilt including king shams that doesn't break the bank but I lucked out with O.com! The color is exactly as pictured with good quality fabric. Washed & dryed with no problem.Read More
Beautiful colors and excellent quality. I love the way it drapes across a 76" wide king bed and leaves enough quilt on either side to cover the top mattress, with room to spare. I have a chocolate brown skirt that completes the ensemble. I keep walking by the bedroom to admire it!Read More
This is a quality made quilt set. Its colors include sage green, light blue, brown, and cream. I laundered it right away and it held up to the washer and dryer beautifully with very little shrinkage, if any. The quilt colors are complimentary to chocolate brown. Thank you, O.co for offering this particular quilt set at the best price around.Read More

Popular Types of Quilts
Out of all the bedding made, quilts may be the most diverse. Quilts are produced in all kinds of colors, patterns, sizes, styles and types. If you're looking for a quilt but don't know where to start, take a look at the popular types of quilts below to learn more about this beautiful kind of bedding. Amish quilts: These beautiful quilts reflect the Amish way of living and feature solid colors, deep hues, geometric patterns and very little embellishment. Amish quilts contain the highest quality of construction and stitching, and, sometimes, the wonderful stitch patterns (scrolls, feathers) contrast with the simple backgrounds of their quilts. Applique quilts: These quilts use a French needlework technique where fabric pieces are sewn onto another piece of material to create a design. Applique is used extensively in the quilting process and is not to be confused with patchwork. Patchwork pieces are joined together; applique is sewn on top of the whole piece. Baltimore album quilts: Baltimore album quilts came from Maryland in the early 1800s. Each block in the design of these quilts is appliqued differently, often in ornate floral patterns. Bangladeshi quilts: These quilts are made with layers of Saree cloth. Saree cloth is silk cloth used by women of India to wrap and fold around the body as a garment. The cloth is usually 40 to 60 inches wide by 6 yards long. These quilts are used as bedding or as decorative pieces. Bargello quilts: Bargello quilts are created with offset squares in an up-and-down geometric "V" pattern. The small squares of different fabrics and the colorful designs make these quilts true works of art. Hawaiian quilts: Hawaiian quilts are not pieced, and they usually showcase a large, symmetrical applique in the center of the quilt. Most often the background is white or another solid color. Patchwork quilts: Patchwork quilts are constructed of many small pieces of fabric which are put together in an improvised or irregular pattern. This is a well-known quilt style, and examples of historical patchwork quilts are found in many museums. Ralli quilts: Ralli quilts, sometimes known as rilli quilts, are traditional quilts made in India or Pakistan. There is an abundance of embroidery as well as applique on the patchwork patterns. Star quilts: Star quilts are created with a large star shape, or several star shapes, dominating the pattern. Wedding ring quilts: Wedding ring quilts are crafted in a design of interlocking rings. This pattern goes far back in history: in the fourth century it was used to decorate drinking cups in Rome. Wedding ring quilts are highly popular and make wonderful wedding gifts. If you're looking for a gift to please an engaged couple, you can't go wrong with a wedding quilt. Bedding always makes a significant gift for the bride and groom, and a quilt with coordinating Egyptian cotton sheets can be even better. View All Quilts Back to Guides Directory View All Quilts
