The memory foam comes rolled in plastic. After 24 hours it has puffed up to the two inches, but the edges have some scallops and there are still some ridges where the folds were. It is a bit short on the sides, but the length (where the scallops are) is still quite short. How do we fix this? Do we just sleep on it as is? Do we wait another 24 hours?
Very well made, brought my not so comfy mattress up to a cushy pleasure....

great mattress topper very soft would buy again overstock is greatRead More
I looked at so many different types of mattress toppers, I found this one and thought "THIS IS IT, JUST WHAT WE WANTED!" We were so excited to get it on the bed. The first night was great, second night pretty good and by the third night it all the "fluff" had balled up and was so hard to sleep on we had to take it off! I have tried moving everything around, but nothing helps. I am so disappointed for spending $***+, I could have bought 4 cheap ones and had better luck stacking them on top of one another!Read More
I have been looking for a topper to help even out my select comfort bed, this fits the bill perfectly. The top layer is soft and fluffy while the memory foam layer helps with the gap between the mattresses. It's wonderful, I can still enjoy the comfort of my bed without the annoying roll to the middle problem from having two individual air chambers. Highly recommend this topper, I love it!Read More
We are enjoying our down alternative and memory foam mattress......makes our bed firm yet soft.....perfect combination.Read More
This is better than a new mattress. You sink into the pillow top, but only to the point of the memory foam. The memory foam provides a firm underside that supports and cradles. Make sure you allow 24 hours to unroll and air out the foam before you put it together. The memory foam is a little larger than the mattress pillow top, so you have to smush it a little to get it in. But it's worth the trouble!Read More
LOVE THIS TOPPER!!!! It was a little pricy, but SO WORTH EVERY CENT MORE! Way less expensive on Overstock! (by hundreds!) It goes on very easy, the cover comes off the foam,so you can wash it. I do recommend letting the foam "grow" in a well ventilated room - it smells something awful first out of the plastic bag, but that goes away in a couple days. Soft, conforming, but you still get the great support of your mattress. It is like being cradled in squishy comfort as you drift to sleep! It was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I bought an extra firm mattress for support, but the topper makes the surface so very inviting!Read More
This mattress topper is so comfortable......i never want to get out of bed!Read More
The softests and best Mattress topper I have ever had! When we first got it , it took almost 2 hours for it to fully expand due to its loft. Definetly would recommend it!Read More
I ordered this and absolutely love it! It's soft with the feather-topper and the memory foam under the feathers make it feel like sleeping in a four star hotel. Don't hesitate, order it, you'll love it too!Read More

Does this tend to slide/shift as many mattress toppers do?
Thank you for contacting us bdorin. Mattress pads can shift based on how you sleep. Not everyone rolls without pulling covers or sheets with them. I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
I'm considering Splendorest Perfect Harmony to top my mattress but I'm wondering if sheets fit over the extra depth.
Hello morningshine13, You may need to purchase deep-pocket sheets, which are the type of sheets you'd buy for a pillow-top mattress. Thanks for shopping with us!
What are the shipping dimensions and weight of the Queen and King toppers? Thanks
Hi arhodes06, the will ship in a box that is 19" x 20" x 24". I hope this helps, thanks for shopping with us.
What are the dimensions for the short queen? I am looking for a 60 x 75 inch.
Hello ggcavecreek13n, I'm sorry we do not have short queen available. Only queen size. The queen is 60 inches wide x 80 inches long. Have a great day!
I want to make my 15 yr old "extra firm" mattress more comfortable since I'm now feeling the springs. Would this be a good choice? I worry about getting hot in the summer, though I'd still probably put a padded mattress cover over it still. Probably will need new sheets though, to accommodate the extra height: any suggestions?
Hi ju1ia, yes this will work with just a sheet over yourself. Please feel free to contact us again with any further questions. Thank you for shopping with us!
How thick is the memory foam and how thick is the layer of alternative down?
Hello doctorr, this has 2-inch visco-elastic memory foam base topped with a 2-inch layer of down alternative fibers. Have a great day!
The down is only about 2 inches. Doesn't make the whole king bed. After some sleeping on it gets a little bigger.

Best Mattresses for Every Sleeping Position
A mattress is one of the most important purchases you can make because you spend hours each day sleeping and rejuvenating for the next day. While shopping for a new mattress, keep in mind the typical sleeping positions you have to ensure you will find the right mattress to help with bone or joint alignment. Below, you'll learn the best mattresses for every sleeping position. Sleeping on your back: If you primarily sleep on your back, you need to find a mattress with support to prevent pain in the lower back. Sleeping on a mattress that does not have enough support causes muscle strain in the back and increases the chance you will assume a poor posture during sleep, leaving you achy in the morning. The best mattresses for this sleeping position have at least 400 to 800 14-gauge coils. Innerspring mattresses feature firm coils to support the back yet still mold to the curvature of the spine. Mattresses with box springs are ideal for those who sleep on their backs because they stabilize weight, offering back support and increasing the life of the bedding. Sleeping on your stomach: While sleeping on your stomach is comfortable, it also increases pressure and strain on parts of the body like the neck or back. Soft mattresses are the best for those who sleep on their stomachs. Look for mattresses that have 300 to 400 14-gauge coils, which will ensure the mattress is soft and comfortable. If you must use a pillow, look into buying a memory foam style, which molds to the head and neck to stabilize them during sleep. Sleeping on your side: Side sleeping is one of the most common positions on a mattress, and it may also be one of the hardest positions to shop for. Since you lay on your side, there is pressure on the shoulders and hips, which could make a firm mattress uncomfortable for sleeping. A mattress that is too soft is often not supportive enough to keep the spine in proper alignment. The ideal mattress for this position is one that has supportive coils, with a memory foam topper to provide comfort to the joints of the body.
