We are quite pleased with the Splendorest Luxury Cover. We ordered the Serta 3 inch Memory Foam Topper for our Calif King bed and wanted a cover for it and this one is perfect. It fits very well, both for the Memory Foam Topper (sold separately) we put inside of it, but also fits well ontop of our existing mattress. We especially like the quality of the zipper which goes around three sides to facilitate inserting the Memory Foam Topper. Also happy with the quality of the spandex material skirt that tucks under the existing mattress. The filling on the cover is cushy and comfy too. It's quite an ordeal to transform our bed with a Memory Foam Topper and this Luxury Cover, but well worth it. Glad we made the purchase and the effort!Read More
Beautiful topper. super soft, great quality. Bought for son's dorm bed. He will sleep like a king instead of sleeping on a concrete mattress. Fits nicely over the prison style bed mattress that college provides.Just lovely....Highly recommended. But be sure to buy a memory foam to insert, that does not come with it.Read More
If you are looking to encase your foam topper, this works perfectly. Unzips on 3 sides so its very easy to encase a topper. It fit our 4" foam topper without any problem, even though it states up to 1". . It's soft and there's no shifting of the foam so you don't have to re fluff like with a feather topper. Even though we ditched the 4" foam pad that we encased, we are still using this cover.Read More
I was a little nervous at first as this seemed to be much smaller than my actual mattress, but once we got it zipped up it fit nicely. The fitted skirt is nice, and the padding is very comfortable. I didn't like how this product came unwrapped. I opened the cardboard box and there it was just sitting in the box touching the cardboard. It was as if Grandma pulled it off her bed threw it in a box, tapped it up and then shipped it. Very unprofessional for Overstock. I do think it is overpriced. I spent $$ on this cover and my gel memory foam mattress itself was only $$ dollars more at Costco.Read More
well made, and the zippers are well made.very soft.Read More
I've had this mattress cover for awhile. I do like that it is deep enough to fit over the entire mattress. I also like how it zips and encloses the foam topper to keep it in place. The main flaw in this cover is the fiberfill that is used to fill in the "quilted" area on the top of the cover. The fiberfill is lumped up with in each of the 4X4 squares on the top. Therefore even though I have a comfortable foam mattress cover, the topper cover is lumpy. I am constantly having to open up the topper cover in order to try to redistribute the fiberfill evenly with the quilted squares. Smaller quilting squares would have been better. It would keep the fiberfill in place better.Read More
Nice and soft. Washes very well. Use it all the time.Read More
These kinds of purchases can be hit or miss, so I was delighted to receive something that more than met my expectations. I was looking for something that would cover an older matress (for a seldom used guest room) and found something that not only did the job, but was so comfortable that it made the matress fell like new. Very soft, and just waht I needed.Read More
When I got this item, I was very happy. It doesn't smell, it required no time to puff up and I slept great for about a month. Then, I started to notice that the foam breaking down where I normally slept. This is after ONE MONTH of sleeping on it and I am a small woman. My back pain returned and then for some strange reason, the whole thing started to turn very hard. I have no idea why. I called to return it and they said I was over the 30 refund. Stripped it off my bed and sleeping BETTER without it. Biggest waste of money ever.Read More
This was way too soft for me. It is very well made, I would recommend it to someone but would tell me it is very softRead More

Best Mattresses for Every Sleeping Position
A mattress is one of the most important purchases you can make because you spend hours each day sleeping and rejuvenating for the next day. While shopping for a new mattress, keep in mind the typical sleeping positions you have to ensure you will find the right mattress to help with bone or joint alignment. Below, you'll learn the best mattresses for every sleeping position. Sleeping on your back: If you primarily sleep on your back, you need to find a mattress with support to prevent pain in the lower back. Sleeping on a mattress that does not have enough support causes muscle strain in the back and increases the chance you will assume a poor posture during sleep, leaving you achy in the morning. The best mattresses for this sleeping position have at least 400 to 800 14-gauge coils. Innerspring mattresses feature firm coils to support the back yet still mold to the curvature of the spine. Mattresses with box springs are ideal for those who sleep on their backs because they stabilize weight, offering back support and increasing the life of the bedding. Sleeping on your stomach: While sleeping on your stomach is comfortable, it also increases pressure and strain on parts of the body like the neck or back. Soft mattresses are the best for those who sleep on their stomachs. Look for mattresses that have 300 to 400 14-gauge coils, which will ensure the mattress is soft and comfortable. If you must use a pillow, look into buying a memory foam style, which molds to the head and neck to stabilize them during sleep. Sleeping on your side: Side sleeping is one of the most common positions on a mattress, and it may also be one of the hardest positions to shop for. Since you lay on your side, there is pressure on the shoulders and hips, which could make a firm mattress uncomfortable for sleeping. A mattress that is too soft is often not supportive enough to keep the spine in proper alignment. The ideal mattress for this position is one that has supportive coils, with a memory foam topper to provide comfort to the joints of the body. There are basically three common types of mattresses used today: spring mattresses, memory foam mattresses, inflatable mattresses and feather beds. Each type has its own benefits. A mattress pad is a less expensive way to add comfort to your bed than purchasing a whole new mattress. With that said, if your mattress is lumpy or saggy, a mattress topper probably won't make much difference. If it is good, though, you have many different choices in material, price, and comfort. Whatever you get, just make sure you purchase the right size for your bed frame. Take a look below to learn more about the best-selling mattresses on the market.
