Washed these sheets twice, and they stil feel like cardboard. If you're looking for sheets softer than your Sunday paper, look elsewhere.Read More
Bought a set for my Son and his wife after enjoying mine. We live in Phoenix, AZ, these sheets are the only ones that stay cool in the summer. We love them.Read More
For 1500 count sheet, these are light sleeping on canvas. Terrible.Read More
Bought these sheets to replace a previous pair. They are thick, for those who don't know what 1500 count sheets are. Arrived well packaged and in 4 days from order. That was acceptable. These are king sized sheets with extra wrap to cover an 18 in deep mattress which they covered well. No tearing placing over mattress even after washing and drying on low heat. They have the same feel and texture as the ****** 1000 count sheets . While sheets are a good value for the money (cheeper than ****** 1000 ct), I have not had any problems that others mentioned previously. I would buy another set without hesitation.Read More
I like a heavy sheet and these fit the bill, very soft after a few washes, They make you sleep good through the night, would recommend these to others, I have bought 2 setsRead More
I have about 10 pairs of 1500 sheets I bought from you guys over the years, but I just bought a new bed and a new size so I had to have more sheets. I don't know what these are but they are not 1500. My old ones feel better than these. They and not the thick feel I am used to brand new. They fit good on a large sorta way. The color is very nice. They wash good. But something is missing here. They don't feel like 1500 count sheets. That's the best way I can describe them. Maybe a 800 count on a good day. I'll keep them, but I am real scared about buying more. Where is quality control Overstock?Read More
We have purchased sheets from Overstock in the past and were very pleased with them and their service. However, this time was totally different. While the sheets were very thick, they did not fit our queen size bed properly. In other reviews from customers, it was stated that they were "oversized". We attempted to put the fitted sheet on the bed. When we went to put the last corner on, it obviously did not fit. Applying moderate pressure to fit the sheet, the seam ripped in my hand. I was shocked and disappointed. To pay the amount for the sheets that we received only to have inadequate sewing on the seams is very disappointing. I will be even more cautious when buying sheets in the future. These sheets will not fit a pillow-top queen mattress. Not even close.Read More
Quality: seems very well-made. Washed before using, and no pilling or loose threads showed up anywhere, and did not notice any loss of color. The color i chose was plum, and is very rich, almost an aubergine / eggplant. I was expecting them to be a bit more on the royal purple shade of plum based on the picture, but i am not disappointed. Packaging: shipping packaging was fine, but the package the sheets were in was ripped - not a big deal - i inspected for any damage or dirt and there was none. The sheets themselves: description states that the fitted sheet will fit up to 18" mattress: we have a pillow-top mattress with a pretty thick quilted mattress protector - and the fitted sheet is almost too big, so much so that I am wondering if it were, in fact, meant for a king-size bed. I can work around this though, and also know that if i ever choose to add a feather-bed or something i should still have room for it with these sheets. I have in the past ordered sheets that are meant for bigger mattress heights but they fell short, these particular sheets I ordered are much bigger than expected, at least the fitted sheet is. The fitted sheet has elastic (good elastic, too) all around the sheet, not just at the corners. These sheets are VERY heavy. they are the heaviest sheets i have ever purchased, even heavier than any flannel sheet or high thread count egyptian cotton sheets. I can see the top sheet being warm enough to use without a blanket depending on the weather. We live in northeastern Ohio and go through all of the weather extremes up here, so they should be good for year-round use. Being of a higher thread count (1500) they feel almost like silk or satin but without the high level of slippery-ness you get with satin sheets. Because of the weight and quality of them, i would be shocked if they ever show any serious signs of wear or thinning. Care: Instructions state wash delicate cycle cold water and dry on low heat....and that is how i washed them and used liquid fabric softener. Stayed soft and comfortable after their first wash, and like i said, i did not notice any loss of color upon the first washing. Be aware, you are instructed to dry on low heat, and these sheets took FOREVER to dry on that setting. Had to put the fitted and top sheet through 3 drying cycles before i was satisfied that they were dry. Overstock.com shipping was fast and free, and I have been pleased so far with their service, and am happy with these sheets. For the price, they're worth every penny.Read More
Have a 17"" queen had to fight so hard to put the last corner of the fited sheet on that i heard a rip. Washed one time and went to put them back on bed and once again, got to the last corner but this time it riped the seam wide open. So there goes a half of week of my pay check for junk!Read More
So far we love them, they are very heavy so maybe to much for summer also I washed them a few times as they are pretty stiff, have only had them a couple of weeks but they fit the matress very well, hopefully they will keep their shape and not stretch or rip.Read More

Bed Sheet Thread Count Fact Sheet
The thread count of bed sheets refers to the number of threads per square inch of fabric. For example, if a square inch of fabric in a 300-thread count sheet with a standard weave were examined closely, 150 vertical threads and 150 horizontal threads would be counted, for a sum total of 300. The higher the thread count, the softer and smoother the sheets will be. Thread count is an important consideration to take when choosing a new set of sheets, but it should not be used as a sole indicator of quality. Equally important in choosing a bed sheet is the type and quality of the materials used as well as the fabric's weave.
