Not Quite as Plushy
Despite this being a two inch topper, it still feels a bit thin and less plush than I was expecting. Overall, the product is quite nice, well made and luxurious feeling. I'm unclear if flipping the topper will change one's sense of temperature. I didn't notice it being too hot or too cold, on the one side that I've used it. As a life extender for an older mattress, I would suggest something thicker. As somethinig to increase the softness and comfort of an existing good mattress, I think it would do the job well. It's probably a bit more expensive than what I was expecting to get out of it but it's still a very quality piece. Additionally, it has a wonderful elastic band that can embrace even the thicker modern day mattresses. I would recommend this for the correct purpose.

This mattress topper does add comfort to the bed and serves as a mattress pad at the same time. It doesn't mash down like most mattress pads, so is more durable.
