Too Soft
It arrived on time, with no shipping issues. The chemical smell was strong, but faded after a few days. The included cover/mattress pad was a nice addition, and fit perfectly over my mattress. What I dislike about this product is that it's very mushy and soft. This may be a pro for others, but for me it made this unusable. I don't normally have back issues, but awoke with a sore lower back after sleeping on this. Once I removed it from my bed, my lower back pains have gone away comnpletely. Whew! So if you're looking for an extremely soft topper that comes with a nice mattress cover/pad, you'll love this. If you need a firmer surface to sleep on, I suggest going with a 1" topper rather than the thicker options such as this 3" topper. Also, check for foam density. The higher the density, the firmer the topper. Aim for 5 lb. density if you like firm. As for the topper being cooler than the non-gel toppers, I couldn't tell a difference. Summary: Super soft and mushy.

Soft & Cushy :)
Bought this for our daughter--wish they would have had one in calif. king for me. If you like really hard/firm pads, don't go with this one. This was really nice and thick.

MOST EXCELLENT!!
What a wonderful invention! I ordered this mattress topper on Tue and it arrived Friday am! Talk about fast service. It was easy to carry and open all on my own. I just opened it on the bed and let it rest all day. Very very little smell and by the next day it was totally gone.Love the mattress cover that came with mine. It took me just a bit to get used to it (like 20 seconds). I have severe arthritis in my neck and hips and now sleeping like I'm a kid again. Mornings are no longer torture for me to start moving. I've told 3 friends about it and they've all ordered and are happy as can be. DEF would order again!!!!

Great Topper
I've been wanting a memory foam topper for a long time but never got around to purchasing. I bought this one because of the gel specifically. My husband runs very hot and I didn't want us to both end up sweating to death and the gel foam seems to do the trick. It's SO comfortable to sleep on. It does come in 2 pieces, 1in of the gel foam and 2 of the regular. I put the gel on top and it zippers into a cover which was really nice. Very happy I got this.

Not what I asked for
Did not receive what I ordered. I purchased a twin size mattress yet received a full size. Due to location was unable to return for exchange so did some trimming to fit. This is not a 4 pound density very soft and mushy doesnt hold as firm as my others I have ordered. But the gel is a nice factor, Not body baking anymore.

Great nights sleep
Bought one for my daughters bed. My grandson liked it so much in got one for his bed too. They just love it and its made very nicely as the foam fits into its own rip in casement. It takes a bit to get it inside, but defiantly worth it!

Overall great purchase
Memory foam mattress topper purchased for my son's bed; placed over an 8-inch spring foam mattress - is very soft & comfortable; not warm at all. Had a distinct odor on arrival, which I believe disappeared around week 2 or so. Full-sized Mattress topper was slightly larger than our full-sized mattress but it's difficult to notice with the fitted sheet on. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.

Quick delivery appreciated. My PT recomended for bursitis in my hips. Took a couple nights to get used to the difference between our regular pillow-top mattress, but have been sleeping straight through the night. I bought this for my 16 yr. old son's full bed for Christmas. He loves it. It is thick and soft. The cover is nice, well made. I wish the 2 layers and cover were permanently combined so they wouldn't shift while on his bed. Be prepared to buy extra deep pocket fitted sheets. His old sheets would not fit. The chemical odor was very mild in the beginning, not a problem.
