My mother came to stay with me for a few weeks after a long stay in the hospital. I was concerned about her comfort - all I had was an old twin bed that cost about 200 bucks. I just could not afford to purchase a bed for her...... I found this product on Overstock and decided it was within my budget. My mother said that it was the most comfortable sleep she had ever had. She absolutely raved about her sleep. She said that the pad just conformed to her body - felt like a very plush expensive bed. I was thrilled that she liked it and that her recovery here went well. She is home now and misses this pad. I really think she is going to buy one for her mattress at home. Mother is 72 years old -- and about 185 pounds ( shush ... ) and very happy and pleased with my choice. I decided to give it a try one night after she left --- I have to agree, this is very comfortable.

using as extra support on new mattress that just needed that extra "something". i am side sleeper and needed extra support for neck/head. product is fine so far. definately need to air out product first as it has odor when unrolled. i turned item over every 2/3 days for about 2 wks.before odor free....

Arrived in a timely manner and is portable enough to take on trips to hotels and alike. Aches and pains are definitely reduced but not entirely eliminated. I do drift off to sleep sooner.

Upon opening the product there was a strong odor. The instructions said to allow it to unfold itself and air a couple days, which I did not do due to the size when unfolded. The odor is normal according to the manufacturer due to the foam manufacturing process and it lasted for over a week. Unpleasant but not overpowering. The gel beads are to remove the heat but that is not the case in my experience. It is warm. It is very comfortable to sleep on and the enclosed cover although complicated to put on is very nice. Am I glad I bough it? Yes, it is like getting a new mattress and I definitely sleep better with little turning. I am generally pleased and would recommend it.
