This is the second topper I have bought. I had one on my son's bed when he came home to visit and he loved it. He said it really made his bed comfortable so I ordered another one and had it sent to his apartment in Chicago. Both beds have memory foam mattresses and the combination is great. I use it with the bumps pointing down. I bought the exact same topper to send.Read More
Felt like I've been sleeping on a cloud every since we purchased it!Read More
This 'memory foam' mattress topper is soft, somewhat like the consistency of pudding, & springs back into shape when pressure is removed from it. This is comfortable to lie on, but the 'big bumps' are a problem, squirming under you as you move about during the night. I found this disconcerting & an interference to turning or rolling over. My granddaughter tried it for 1 night & likewise voted thumbs down. I returned it for a refund, which was prompt & earns the extra star.Read More
It had no odor when I opened it. when I got it on my bed it was like a big fluffy cloud on my firm bed. No complaintsRead More
I purchased this because the good ratings, the thing they don't tell you is that you have to put this without a topper, it has be put like it comes, so when you are going to go out of bed, your body scratches the peaks and thats when it cames the problem. It split appart after 4 to 5 months.Read More
So this is what sleep is supposed to be like??? I'm normally up at the crack of dawn, hurting and hardly being able to move and I actually slept in! Didn't wake up in pain and was comfortable all night. For me this is unheard of. Oh my goodness, I was in so much pain and can't afford to go buy a new mattress, so I tried this. It is like heaven to me. I also have a gel, memory foam pillow I picked up from a store for $12.00 and both together are AMAZING. Family members have purchased these and told me about them and are totally happy. ***This is definitely worth the investment.*** AAAHHHHHHH ;-))Read More
Oh, my... I bought this topper because my four inch memory foam topper was just too hot anymore. Also, my dogs had clawed a hole in the center where they decided to sleep when the sheets were off being washed. So, I got this one, laid it out for a couple days to air out the chemical smell, and then slept so comfortably the first night on it that I found I woke up in the exact same position that I had gone to bed in! It is not hot like normal memory foam, and because of the bumpy, conical shape of the top, it is soooo cushiony and soft. Honestly, it is a true pleasure to sleep and wake up on this mattress topper. I love it and it was worth it. One thing to note: my bed is queen sized, but I bought the king size topper as it was the same price. After it was positioned on my bed and had expanded to its normal size, I cut off the extra with a chef's knife, which amounted to a 15" x 78" strip. I cut two 15"x26" pieces and placed them together, cone sides together so that they interlocked. Voila! A perfect pillow! The remaining piece I use as a body pillow. Both fit in normal pillowcases and work wonderfully: )Read More
I had an older memory foam that I stopped using long ago because of night sweats, I was skeptical prior to purchasing this, but desperate for a good comfortable bed, I searched for months before choosing this one, 1st, I liked the density, 2nd, I like the concept of egg crate and gel together for a cooler bed, I used a mattress cover over this and it has not disappointed, will be getting 100% cotton sheets for an even cooler bed, Yes, it is slightly warmer than no topper at all, but the trade off is worth it because with my aches & pains I am sleeping comfortably, and feel like royalty in my bed now!Read More
We bought 3 of these toppers to supplement the low end mattresses in our travel trailer. We bought the king size and trimmed them to fit the non-standard beds. The memory foam provides a lot of comfort. The memory foam gel keeps the foam from getting too hot which is so important in the summer. I had enough left over to make a couple dog beds from the trimmings.Read More
I had this since March and it is now the beginning of July and it is already tearing apart!!!!! It is super soft and I was very excited about it when I first laid on it, but last week I was woken up because I could feel my body on my mattress (since this topper is so thick it was like I was being sucked in so it woke me up). When I further investigated there are tears all throughout the topper and ripped at my spot, so it is only a matter of time until the whole thing will have to be thrown away! SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!!Read More

How to Compare Memory Foam Mattress Toppers
An investment in a good night's sleep, a memory foam mattress topper is made to mold to your individual shape, support every part of your body, and cut down on painful pressure points that can develop when you're not properly supported during sleep. Mattress toppers also add a bit more padding to your standard mattress, making your bed even more relaxing. Here's how to choose the best one for you.
There are basically three common types of mattresses used today: spring mattresses, memory foam mattresses, inflatable mattresses and feather beds. Each type has its own benefits. A mattress pad is a less expensive way to add comfort to your bed than purchasing a whole new mattress. With that said, if your mattress is lumpy or saggy, a mattress topper probably won't make much difference. If it is good, though, you have many different choices in material, price, and comfort. Whatever you get, just make sure you purchase the right size for your bed frame. Take a look below to learn more about the best-selling mattresses on the market.
Choosing the Right Density for Your Memory Foam Mattress

However, as the prices of memory foam mattresses have dropped, more brands have begun producing memory foam bedding, and choosing the right mattress has become more challenging. However, one factor remains constant throughout the different brands: memory foam density. Memory foam density, expressed in pounds per cubic foot, makes a big difference in the softness, durability, support, and price of your mattress. Knowing a little about the different densities of memory foam mattresses can simplify the buying process and help you find the memory foam mattress that's right for you.

Best Mattresses for Every Sleeping Position
A mattress is one of the most important purchases you can make because you spend hours each day sleeping and rejuvenating for the next day. While shopping for a new mattress, keep in mind the typical sleeping positions you have to ensure you will find the right mattress to help with bone or joint alignment. Below, you'll learn the best mattresses for every sleeping position. Sleeping on your back: If you primarily sleep on your back, you need to find a mattress with support to prevent pain in the lower back. Sleeping on a mattress that does not have enough support causes muscle strain in the back and increases the chance you will assume a poor posture during sleep, leaving you achy in the morning. The best mattresses for this sleeping position have at least 400 to 800 14-gauge coils. Innerspring mattresses feature firm coils to support the back yet still mold to the curvature of the spine. Mattresses with box springs are ideal for those who sleep on their backs because they stabilize weight, offering back support and increasing the life of the bedding. Sleeping on your stomach: While sleeping on your stomach is comfortable, it also increases pressure and strain on parts of the body like the neck or back. Soft mattresses are the best for those who sleep on their stomachs. Look for mattresses that have 300 to 400 14-gauge coils, which will ensure the mattress is soft and comfortable. If you must use a pillow, look into buying a memory foam style, which molds to the head and neck to stabilize them during sleep. Sleeping on your side: Side sleeping is one of the most common positions on a mattress, and it may also be one of the hardest positions to shop for. Since you lay on your side, there is pressure on the shoulders and hips, which could make a firm mattress uncomfortable for sleeping. A mattress that is too soft is often not supportive enough to keep the spine in proper alignment. The ideal mattress for this position is one that has supportive coils, with a memory foam topper to provide comfort to the joints of the body.
