I ordered the memory foam topper and mattress cover for my daughter's bed. I received the package within the delivery time and followed instructions for use. I can't believe the difference it made to her original mattress. Her old mattress was used by her 2 older sisters before her and was completely worn out and extremely uncomfortable. The extra thickness of the topper ensures pure comfort! She even told me she may want me to take the topper away because she sleeps so soundly on it, it's hard for her to get up for school. One day I was in her room and sat on her bed, soon I laid down and within minutes I was fast asleep! It's just so inviting that I want to add one to my bed and I already have an expensive memory foam mattress. I recommend this product to everyone that prefers a softer bed. It's not mushy and pillowy, but it's more soft than firm. I have slept on that bed a couple of times and I have no pain whatsoever in the morning.

I'm so glad I purchased this instead of a new mattress I saved a lot of money in the process and I sleep so well now! I would recommend this to anyone who is consider a foam mattress. I followed the directions by letting it 'air out' for a few days and it hasn't sunk in at all.

Purchased for a guestroom daybed. Our "guest" said it was extremely comfortable. Nice and plush. It's brand new so we're not sure about durability. Delivery was quick!!

After having to sleep in a recliner for a couple of months and trying once in awhile to sleep back in my bed after surgery, I had had it. A trailer on Overstock caught my attention for bed toppers. I went to the sight and looked through all of the choices, and settled on the Slumber Solutions 4.5" Memory Foam and Fiber Mattress Topper. Oh my goodness.....I couldn't believe that I actually stayed through the night in a bed. I started out on one of our double beds. Each night has been better than the one before. I now have ordered the king for our bedroom and will try it out tonight. I am sure it will be as great as the first one. Next month, I will order one for the bed in the house. What a difference it makes. It is like sleeping on air. I have recommended to several friends, and I know of at least 2 who have purchased it. Please keep this one in stock. Once in while I will wake up a little wqrm, but I just turn down the a/c and go right back to sleep. Most nights it is just fine, so it is probably me. Thanks, Overstock.com

Yesterday's nap and last night's sleep were the best rest I've had in ages. Firm but cushy, this mattress topper is amazing. I feel so much more comfortable in bed. Sure, my 6-year-old cheapo mattress is sagging, but this made it so much better. It comes in 2 pieces-- don't be fooled by the roll of foam that says "3" full" on it. The other 1.5" comes from the cover. It was quite amusing watching the foam expand in the middle of my living room-- be sure to clear a big enough space! The foamy smell didn't last very long at all, and wasn't very strong, but I let it air out for the recommended 24+ hours anyway. Added to my regular mattress (12" deep), the total depth is still less than 18", which means I can still use my old sheets, which is a big plus.

It's hard to choose this sort of thing over the internet, but we ended up being very pleased. No odor when we unpacked it, and the padded cover that secures the foam to your regular mattress is well worth it! No more foam scooting everywhere and having to be shoved back into place in the morning. The foam is soft enough to feel fun and luxurious, but provides plenty of support. My back and hip pains have been greatly reduced after replacing my 6 year old, cracked and sunken in foam topper with this one. The reason this item doesn't get five stars is important to note before purchasing: The foam you get is actually only 3 inches, the other 1.5 inches of lift comes from the padded topper. Initially I was disappointed, and felt a bit like the listing title was a bait and switch because i had expected the foam to be 4.5 inches. Fortunately this amount of padding seems to work well for us. Just know what you're getting for your money.

Very nice product - use it in our guest bedrooms. Guests are pleased with their sleep and call our home "nana's b & b". Say the feel is like the beds in the best hotels! We've added these toppers to our firm innerspring mattresses and it gives you the plush comfort with the support of the base mattress. Also, why spend a lot of money for a mattress with built-in plush, as we all know the plush does break down. So we feel buy a firm base mattress and then add the topper-then you only have to replace the topper as needed.

I do not normally write reviews online, but I'm making an exception for this mattress topper. I had previously purchased a down filled topper from overstock, and while it is lovely and very soft, it still wasn't providing me with the amount of cushioning and support I was hoping it would. I cannot begin to tell you how much of a difference this topper has made in the quality of my sleep. It arrived within 5 days, expanded within a day. After putting it on my bed, I slept for 9 straight hours and woke up feeling completely rested. Since having it about a month, I love it even more. Totally worth it.

I bought this for my granddaughter who just moved in to a dorm at college with a mattress that's about 2 inches thick. I asked her on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best, how would you rate it for comfort? She said it's definitely 100! She said everyone in the dorm says that she has the most comfortable bed. I hesitated to purchase this because there were so many other products that were less expensive but I've seen them and knew based on the mattress on her bed that she needed the best product available. I'm so glad now that I didn't waste money on something less expensive that I'm convinced wouldn't have delivered such excellent results.

I thought I would love this full size memory foam mattress and topper from the reviews I read. Unfortunately that was NOT the case. I have an old memory foam that I wanted to replace. The one I just ordered was way too soft - should have figured that out since the box was only 19 lbs. My old one (also from Overstock) was about 40 lbs. - much more dense. And the gel substance in the topper reflects my body heat back so I would wake up sweating. This is not something I want - especially now that Summer is coming. I can't really return it - there is no way I will get this back in the box. I am going to use it in my spare bedroom. First item I have ever bought on Overstock that I did not like.

This topper has given us a soft solution to a hard mattress. The mattress is a good one so we didn't want to replace it, but it is too firm and my husband's hands were hurting every morning. Before visiting the neurologist, we tried the 4.5 memory foam with fiber topper and it has worked for him from day one. No more pain in the morning and it is like sleeping on a cloud, very comforting. Canceled the doctor's appointment. Haven't used it long enough to comment on durability, but it seems fine so far.

The mattress topper itself is extremely nice but when sleeping on it, my father sank down too much and he got hot while sleeping.

I have a pretty cheap mattress and to avoid the cost of a new one since mine isn't very old, I've been on a quest to find a topper that will stop my back aches and give me a good night's rest. I've finally found it. At first, I was leery about the foam and the fact that this topper is in 2 pieces. But after trying it the first night I received it, I've got to say, it's AMAZING and well worth it. Not only is the price phenomenal, the shipping is super fast and the product is better than described. Yes, there is a little "foamy" smell when you first get it, you just have to air it out for a while like it says. I don't regret my purchase!

I bought this for my son who had complained that he wasn't getting a good sleep because of his old mattress. After he slept on it the first time he called me to tell me what a difference it made. He slept through the night for the first time in a long time. Shortly after he got it, he was away visiting friends and his cousin slept in his room.
