Granted, I have only slept one night on these sheets. But the first night was wonderful. I sweat a lot at night and often wake up to soaked sheets (gross, I know, the doctors are baffled, I am only 28). Anyway I was a little leary in purchasing a 300 tc sheet, because I usually prefer over 600, however, the moisture wicking sold me. I am going to give these a go for a month and probably buy another. Let's see how they hold up after a few washes:)
I've had these sheets for about a week and was happy when I received them. They're very soft and the Robin's Egg Blue is very bright without being obnoxious. I Unfortunately after one wash the color faded from certain parts of the sheets and now the sheets look like they have been washed with bleach, which obviously they were not. Definitely not worth the money. Maybe if you get the white ones you will be safe.
I am very fussy about sheets, wanting them to be extremely soft & comfy. Although wary about buying sheets online, I am glad that I did! These sheets laundered beautifully & stayed true to size, always a concern with a king-size bed. They feel cool when you first get into bed and do seem to wick moisture away from your body, so you never feel clammy. I stick with white sheets, always. These are a beautiful white and very, very soft! Love them so much that after sleeping on them for a week, I ordered another set --you know how companies are fond of discontinuing the products we love most!
I was very worried that this sheet set would turn out to be another set of drop cloths for painting. No worries!!! They are wonderful! I am SUPER picky about sheets-AND I also don't want to take out a mortgage to pay for them! These sheet are a steal! Super soft-even after only one wash. They don't make you feel clammy. They also seem to be well made. Go for it! You won't be disappointed!
Read the reviews and thought this would be a good buy. Couldn't be more dissatisfied with these sheets. Supposedly 300 thread count cotton, but they feel like polyester. The fitted sheet is way too big and wrinkles like linen. The pillowcase slides of the pillow by morning. This was my first purchase from Overstock, so not sure of the return policy but would love to send these back to the vendor.
I ordered these sheets after reading reviews. I rarely buy anything anymore without reading reviews. These sheets are so soft and they fit my mattress perfectly. I don't think you will be sorry if you buy these sheets. I ordered white and while they are not bright white, they are white.
I'm baffled...somehow I must not have received the same sheets that other reviewers have. I bought these sheets based on the reviews and I'm gobsmacked by the actual product. In the package they feel silky and cool but after washing they have become absolute SANDPAPER! It's like all the threads were lying flat or something, on their best behavior in the package, but after washing they're all wriled up, spikey, and showing their true colors. After one washing the sheen is gone, the coolness is gone, they're sandpaper, and I haven't slept a single night peacefully on them. I tried to give them a chance by washing them 5 times, hoping that after a breaking-in period they would relax and become what they're supposed to be...yeah, NO. They're awful. NOT sheets for someone who likes to sleep cool. I toss and turn all night trying to find a cool spot for my feet and my head, but there isn't one. Anywhere. What am I supposed to do with these things? So tired of buying sheets that "sound" good or "feel" good in the packaging only to wash once and have them turn into a completely different product. I cannot use these, money WASTED.
this is the first time I've been disappointed by the quality of something I ordered from Overstock. This cotton is so flimsy that I fear it won't last through its first use. Keep on clicking through - the Egyptian cotton stuff is great. These sheets...not so much.
I bought one set of these sheets in 2013 and was very happy with them, so recently ordered another set. I've laundered this new set of sheets three times, and used them twice....and they're already "pilling." So disappointing, because they really are soft, airy, wonderful sheets--I just can't stand the sandpaper-y feel of pilled cotton. They also stretch out a LOT. Not happy with this purchase, and feel that I wasted $**.
Very very thin sheets that I do not expect to hold up. Will work in a pinch and the price was right so that's good enough for me at this time. Sheets will be used on vacation rental bed. Personally I adore Macy's hotel collection sheets...
While these sheets are very soft, they are always wrinkled... but oh so comfortable! I got them for the guest room and guests comment about their softness and comfort, no one has said anything about the wrinkles. Since the fitted sheet is elastic all the way around, it fits nicely over the full bed 6" mattress, even though it is for a much deeper mattress. This gives me liberty then to add toppers or thick pads when needed according to guest's needs. Quite satisfied!
I had looked high and wide to find sheets to fit a standard full mattress and this set was said to fit a 12". The fitted sheet is very loose - not a nice tight fit and the top sheet is much too short. Pillow cases are way too big for standard pillows. Very hard to iron out wrinkles after washing. Only positive is that the sheets are soft to feel.
I was more than impressed with these sheets...and I am a total sheet SNOB! I've always purchased sheets of a much higher thread count, and never hesitated to spend much more than average for a quality sheets set that not only felt amazing, but also washed well, did not wrinkle out of the dryer, didn't shrink, and didn't come out of the dryer with the top portion of the sheet all oddly "folded" and creased. I purchased the original set for my teenage son, and after his comments, and then the comments from my maid, I purchased a set for myself, then another for my son. Three of my close friends have now purchased them after they came to my house and felt and saw the quality and then heard the price...
