How heavy is a full size?
My mom was suddenly diagnosed with a brain tumor the day before Thanksgiving last November. She had surgery the day after and I flew to GA from my home in CA to be with her. She died the day after Christmas and I have been living in her home and managing her estate. The only two beds in the house were a concrete slab in the guest room and a massive king sized sleigh bed in the master bedroom with a high end but extremely hard mattress without a pillow top. Because I have Fibromyalgia I need a supportive but soft mattress that does not torture my pressure points. I had purchased a 4k adjustable bed for my mom, which she never even got to use. I put it in the guest room and have been sleeping on it for months. When my husband visited me we could not sleep together because the new adjustable bed is only a full size and I could not endure the agony of sleeping on the master bed. It was awful having to sleep separately for the first time in almost 30 years and under such sad circumstances. I decided I needed to do something with the master bed until my husband retires and moves out here to join me later this year and we can replace the mattress. After reading dozens of reviews I decided on this particular topper. It arrived tightly rolled up in a box. I opened it up, let it unroll on top of the bed and air out for a few hours. There was very little odor or gas smell. This mattress topper was ready to be used on the bed almost immediately; it did not require the standard 24-72 hour relaxing/air out time. The comfort was amazing. I could not believe the difference when I lay down on the bed after putting the topper and sheets on! I am confident that when my husband visits the next time we will be able to finally share the same bed again. This topper won't fix a sagging, worn out mattress. But if your mattress is still in decent shape support wise, it will most likely afford you another few years before needing to replace it. Or, if you already have a great mattress and want more cushioning and relief from pressure points, I highly recommend this product. It's expensive but the cost to your body and well being of sleeping in pain on a lossy mattress is ultimately much higher....

We have used this topper for roughly 60 days. It is very comfortable, and does not cause you to overheat. The cover is very nice also. My only concern is the fact that we are already starting to see very slight indentations where we sleep. For this cost, we expected more. I cannot give an "excellent" rating because of this concern.Read More
Ordered this mattress topper for our Son who just moved into his dorm. The xl twin size mattress they provide leaves quite a lot to be desired. He was having trouble getting any appreciable sleep and waking with stiff muscles and an aching back. Upon arrival, he unfolded it in an open air room as per instructions. He stated it did not smell and fit perfectly. The best night sleep he had since moving in. Definitely an A plus for this item. Worth the money.Read More

I go this topper about a month a go, it is so comfortable! I did not want a memory foam topper because of the heat it generates, I have a memory foam pillow and it is hot within seconds. The latex topper stays cool! Love it. I still don't sleep all night but at least I can lay there in total comfort trying to go back to sleep! I look forward to going to bed at night. I will probably buy another latex topper for the guest room. Highly recommend!Read More
I've had problems with my back for a long time. I know we need a new mattress, the one we have is a little over 10 years old and it wasn't super high quality to begin with. We were starting to feel uneven and creaky spots in it (we have turned and flipped it routinely to avoid this, but it still happened). We have a King size bed and I dont want to buy junk, but cant afford to buy anything in the mid-to-high quality right now. So Ive been looking into toppers. We tried one that was the egg-crate kind, and we ended up cutting it up for the dogs to use. It smelled weird, shifted and bunched up beneath us just a disaster. A friend showed me one she had and it seemed to be better than the egg-crate, but for the amount she paid I just didn't think it was worth that...just seemed cheaply made and nothing about it was made in the USA. Long story short, I saw that the Invigo was a new product and it sounded like it would be pretty decent quality. I also have allergies so I was attracted to the fresh and clean benefits along with the natural latex. But to be honest, I really didn't expect anything fantastic. I ended up being really surprised. The cover is super soft, and just has a good quality feeling, the zipper is sturdy, not flimsy I dont know how to describe it, but it just looks like someone put thought into making it nice. The first night sleeping on it I didn't toss around as much and my husband noticed that the slight dip in the middle of the bed was gone. When I woke up the next morning, all the pain Im accustomed to was noticeably less. Not entirely gone, but I really felt better. Coincidence I thought. Well its been just over a week and Im seriously in love with this thing. It didnt work miracles since Im not actually any younger than the night before, but I really just feel so much better when I get up in the morning. That fact alone makes this topper well worth it and everything else it has are great extra bonuses.Read More
This wonderful topper is the answer to many attempts to make my mattress comfortable. i have a memory foam mattress that is way too hard, but very supportive. i have tried memory foam toppers, but they didn't soften enough. the 3" INVIGO has 1-1/2" of latex on the top (glued nicely to a foam layer that might be memory foam, not sure). but the latex does the trick. i looked at latex toppers for a long time before i bought this one. they are very expensive. the INVIGO is not cheap, but is well worth the price. the price is not exhorbitant. the INVIGO is well-crafted and has a gorgeous washable, substantial cover. this has really done the trick for me, and i have severe back pain. no, it doesn't take all my pain away, but i'm sleeping a lot better due to the softness that is cushioning pressure points. i love this topper. btw, i had several communications with the decourcy co. who makes the INVIGO. they even sent me some lovely samples in the mail. great people. highly, highly recommend them and their products.Read More
I was considering buying a new mattress for my Teenage daughter, but decided to try a mattress topper instead. She and I absolutely love this product!! It saved me over *** and have recommended to friends.Read More
This mattress topper met my expectation. I purchased this to go on top of our futon mattress, which seemed a little too firm. The Invigo fresh natural latex form gives the futon a softer feel and is great for my lower back. It had minimal odor and I would definitely recommend this topper over the purchase of a new mattress. I am definitely sleeping better because of the use of this mattress topper. Well worth the purchase price.Read More

Best Mattresses for Every Sleeping Position
A mattress is one of the most important purchases you can make because you spend hours each day sleeping and rejuvenating for the next day. While shopping for a new mattress, keep in mind the typical sleeping positions you have to ensure you will find the right mattress to help with bone or joint alignment. Below, you'll learn the best mattresses for every sleeping position. Sleeping on your back: If you primarily sleep on your back, you need to find a mattress with support to prevent pain in the lower back. Sleeping on a mattress that does not have enough support causes muscle strain in the back and increases the chance you will assume a poor posture during sleep, leaving you achy in the morning. The best mattresses for this sleeping position have at least 400 to 800 14-gauge coils. Innerspring mattresses feature firm coils to support the back yet still mold to the curvature of the spine. Mattresses with box springs are ideal for those who sleep on their backs because they stabilize weight, offering back support and increasing the life of the bedding. Sleeping on your stomach: While sleeping on your stomach is comfortable, it also increases pressure and strain on parts of the body like the neck or back. Soft mattresses are the best for those who sleep on their stomachs. Look for mattresses that have 300 to 400 14-gauge coils, which will ensure the mattress is soft and comfortable. If you must use a pillow, look into buying a memory foam style, which molds to the head and neck to stabilize them during sleep. Sleeping on your side: Side sleeping is one of the most common positions on a mattress, and it may also be one of the hardest positions to shop for. Since you lay on your side, there is pressure on the shoulders and hips, which could make a firm mattress uncomfortable for sleeping. A mattress that is too soft is often not supportive enough to keep the spine in proper alignment. The ideal mattress for this position is one that has supportive coils, with a memory foam topper to provide comfort to the joints of the body.
