A Great Mattress Pad
My husband and I have been trying to sleep comfortably on a foam bed (too hard) for the past couple of years. I even added a foam "egg crate" pad, but that made sleeping too hot. When we read that another reviewer has the same kind of bed and was pleased with the difference this pad made, we decided to purchase one. When we took it out of the bag, we didn't think it would be thick enough. To our surprise, it has made a world of difference! Our bed is finally comfortable to sleep on, and the nice cotton fabric makes sleeping cooler than it was before. It stays put, too. I think we made the right choice.

Disappointed
Did not hold up to washing, it disintegrated after 2nd wash. Fit was good.

Just what I wanted!
A great mattress pad at a great price! It fits well over both my mattress and the 4 inch memory foam topper with no problem.

Mistake that worked for me
Because of its placement on Overstocks web page and the verbiage used to describe the product I was under the opinion I was ordering a heated mattress pad. I was disappointed when I first opened the awaited delivery. But rather than go through the problem of returning it I put it on my aging pillow top mattress. I was quite frankly very surprised at the difference it made in my comfort. And now find myself happy with the error.

Nice quality but too small
The surface of the mattress cover area is only 58 inches wide and 78 inches long. Because of this, the fit is not good and I see the sides of cover for one inch around my regular queen mattress (not oversized). Because I like to make a neat bed, this did not sit well with me. Did not return as the package was opend and discarded the bag. The comfort seems fine if I sleep in the middle of the mattress. The manufacturer should know that quilting will shrink the size and cut the fabric so it will turn out to be the size of the mattress. A disappointing purchase.

Great Product
Put this on top of a feather bed on our mattress. Adds just a little extra softness to the bed. Am getting another one for our guest bedroom.

Mattress Pad is a great addition to the bed.
The Simmons 5 zone mattress pad is great. I have a bad back and have tried many pads to find one and I found it with this pad. It really has 5 different zones to help the body be firm where it needs to be. It has been a great addition to the kind of mattress I have and will keep using this pad for many years because it fits right and doesn't move around much and stays where you want and need the padding.

Poor quality
We decided to put the mattress pad on the bed before laundering to ensure that it fit properly. Sure glad we did. The material on the side of the pad ripped very easily. The material all around the pad seemed to be substandard and in my opinion would not stand up to a washing. Do not buy this product.
