These towels are super soft and a great size. I didn't realize how worn down my older towels were until these arrived. They definitely need 2-3 wash/dry cycles to tame the fuzzy lint. Out of 11 sets of towels (22 large towels, 22 hand towels, 22 wash clothes), three large towels have unraveled in the interior towel looping. One washcloth became 'unseamed' after a wash cycle (hand stitched the seam back up, works fine now), and four towels have had fraying along the edge binding. Some careful snipping with sharp scissors have made the problem areas neater, but it was disappointing to have these problems when the towels are otherwise so nice.Read More
Great product with an excellent price! Haven't washed many times yet so can't comment on their color lasting. But, so far so good!Read More
I've had other so called luxury towels in the past, but these towels are absolutely the softest. They are also very absorbent without being too heavy. I have only washed them once (before using), so I can't really speak to how well they will wear. There was no pilling and no threads coming loose from the wash. They were a little more expensive than I've paid before, but the extra expense is definitely worth the luxury!Read More
I bought this for a friend. They are thick. The color is good as is the feelRead More
Some of the reviews comment that these are not "luxury" quality: if you're looking for thick/dense towels, then you may be disappointed. They are, however, very soft, attractive and well in the range of what I was looking for. I am picky about colors to in my Edwardian home. The bathroom walls are sage and buttery cream with warm oak-colored floors. I wanted a muted shade that would not be overbearing. The sage is pretty close to being grey, with just a bit of sage tone. I did not want towels that were so dense/thick that they would take 3 hours to dry either hanging in the bathroom or in the clothes dryer. These are not very thick but are very soft, which is what I was looking for. I washed and dried them. There were a couple of loose threads around the edges, but no fraying or funky shrinkage. I have enough confidenct in them to order another set today.Read More

Questions & Answers
What does the finish edge of the washcloth look like?
Are these all bath towels
i would like to order just hand towels and bath towels, we don't want the wash cloths, can I do this
Two questions, actually. 1. What water temperature should these be washed on; and 2. Is the decorative band on both ends of the bath/hand towels or just one end?
We recommend washing these in warm water. The decorative band is on both ends of the towels.
What color is the spruce? It looks more grey, but would think spruce is green...
I would like to know this as well. Will not buy these towels on the chance that spruce could be green (though they look grey).
Hello, The Spruce is a grey green, very muted, but definitely a green tone. I hope this helps. Thank you for shopping with us.
Where are these made?
These are made in India.

Bath Sheets vs Bath Towels
Most bathroom decorators are accustomed to purchasing conventionally sized bath towels. Standard-sized bath towels are usually included as part of a set. Buying a set is often easier on the pocketbook, and there's no need to worry if your bath towels will match your hand towels and wash cloths. Don't scrub the notion of incorporating bath sheets into your bathroom sets, however. Bath sheets, due to their size and volume, add considerable luxury whenever you step outside of the shower or tub.

While lustrous, durable Egyptian cotton bedding and Egyptian cotton sheet sets are still more expensive than bedding and sheets made from less distinguished cotton, they are far less expensive than they used to be, and if you want luxury and durability, the price may be well worth it. Popular Types of Quilts
Out of all the bedding made, quilts may be the most diverse. Quilts are produced in all kinds of colors, patterns, sizes, styles and types. If you're looking for a quilt but don't know where to start, take a look at the popular types of quilts below to learn more about this beautiful kind of bedding. Amish quilts: These beautiful quilts reflect the Amish way of living and feature solid colors, deep hues, geometric patterns and very little embellishment. Amish quilts contain the highest quality of construction and stitching, and, sometimes, the wonderful stitch patterns (scrolls, feathers) contrast with the simple backgrounds of their quilts. Applique quilts: These quilts use a French needlework technique where fabric pieces are sewn onto another piece of material to create a design. Applique is used extensively in the quilting process and is not to be confused with patchwork. Patchwork pieces are joined together; applique is sewn on top of the whole piece. Baltimore album quilts: Baltimore album quilts came from Maryland in the early 1800s. Each block in the design of these quilts is appliqued differently, often in ornate floral patterns. Bangladeshi quilts: These quilts are made with layers of Saree cloth. Saree cloth is silk cloth used by women of India to wrap and fold around the body as a garment. The cloth is usually 40 to 60 inches wide by 6 yards long. These quilts are used as bedding or as decorative pieces. Bargello quilts: Bargello quilts are created with offset squares in an up-and-down geometric "V" pattern. The small squares of different fabrics and the colorful designs make these quilts true works of art. Hawaiian quilts: Hawaiian quilts are not pieced, and they usually showcase a large, symmetrical applique in the center of the quilt. Most often the background is white or another solid color. Patchwork quilts: Patchwork quilts are constructed of many small pieces of fabric which are put together in an improvised or irregular pattern. This is a well-known quilt style, and examples of historical patchwork quilts are found in many museums. Ralli quilts: Ralli quilts, sometimes known as rilli quilts, are traditional quilts made in India or Pakistan. There is an abundance of embroidery as well as applique on the patchwork patterns. Star quilts: Star quilts are created with a large star shape, or several star shapes, dominating the pattern. Wedding ring quilts: Wedding ring quilts are crafted in a design of interlocking rings. This pattern goes far back in history: in the fourth century it was used to decorate drinking cups in Rome. Wedding ring quilts are highly popular and make wonderful wedding gifts. If you're looking for a gift to please an engaged couple, you can't go wrong with a wedding quilt. Bedding always makes a significant gift for the bride and groom, and a quilt with coordinating Egyptian cotton sheets can be even better. View All Quilts Back to Guides Directory View All Quilts
