This comforter set is absolutely the best in quality, beauty, design, and value. It's what you typically find in in high end hotels and stores. The pictures do not do it justice in the least. I have purchased not even the same quality for several hundreds of dollars more. It is elegant but comfortable and can well complement your casually elegant to elegant boudoir. The fabrics and designs used in the comforter and pillow assemblies complement each other well. I don't agree with a few of the other reviewers comments on scratchiness for he comforter. It is just the best and is the thickest and most comfortable comforter I have ever purchased. It and the bedskirt and sheets are designed to fit well with no tugging, overhang or overlaps.....simply a superb set...no wonder it is out of stock frequently!!!

I got this set about 2 or 3 weeks ago and its beautiful. I have a dark chocolate canopy bed and my room is very big so i needed something that will make my room warm but at the same time a bit dramatic and this topped it off. I had bought some stripped beiged expensive sheets that i love and needed a set that would go with it, and this is PERFECT!!! The comforter is not too heavy but keeps you warm, and I love to make my bed everyday just to walk back and take a mental picure of it because it looks beautiful. I know kinda silly but my room looks really good. I had company right after I bought it and they were all guys and they were AWWED by it and if GUYS noticed how nice my room looks then thats all I have to say. TRULY RECOMMEND it, but my advice is if your starting to decorate buy this first and then build from that.. I was just lucky with the sheets I bought that everything matched, but its your worth your money. =)

We have had this comforter set for about a month now and we LOVE it. I couldn't believe how much you get for the price - and the quality is good. It's not top-of-the-line material, but it is very comfortable. We live in Texas, so the lightweight comforter has been a delight compared to the last, much heavier one we had. We have cats so we have to use something to protect our toes in the middle of the night! But even the kitties love this set. They snooze with us all the time now. And getting out of bed now is much tougher than it used to be! Oh - and it looks great too. It lightens up our room a lot (we have heavy furniture). I couldn't be more pleased.

This set is a great value - you really get a lot for the price! I love how it looks in our bedroom. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because I feel the quality of the sheets isn't the highest. They are 100% cotton, but don't feel as smooth to me as I'd like.

I am very pleased with my purchase. For the cost I was extremely impressed with the quality. This set is beautiful. The fabric is great quality and the stitching is very sturdy. My bedroom looks very elegant and I love all the pillows.

I believe it's a steal and encourage you to take advantage while it's available! Wow - this comforter set is simply superb. Every item is high quality and true to the picture. I would have purchased this set and felt like it was a tremendous deal evevn if priced double what I payed. (I've never skimped on comforters, and truth be told I was a bit skeptical on how inexpensive this was considering it is a TWENTY piece set!! One would expect to pay more than this full amount just for the comforter, nevermind two sets of sheets - with two EXTRA pillowcases - two sets of shams, the skirt, and decorative pillows). The sheets fit well on a pillowtop mattress, and I only washed them once to reach the level of softness I wanted. The colors were as pictured, at least on my computer. This would go well with any decor. I had originally purchased for a guest room in our new home, but am now keeping it for our master. My HUSBAND went out of his way to comment on how nice this looked, so I knew it was a keeper! Can't recommend it highly enough, both for value AND quality (and it's unusual to have both at the upper extreme). My only caution is to order quickly - it didn't note low stock, and still sold out within the week of my purchase. From reviews this must happen often.

Had read the reviews here prior to ordering and was wondering if they were believable -- they are. I haven't had a single friend look at this beautiful set without plenty of compliments. It's warm, inviting, luxurious-looking and -feeling, and a great value for the money. I bought a set for my daughter's room at the same time, from a different vendor, only 7 pieces, and quite a bit more expensive. She loves the pattern, but the value for the dollar doesn't come close to this Sherwood selection. Beautiful!

I was very sceptical about this comforter set because the price was so reasonable and there were so many items included. It was also hard to believe that it would be a good quality product. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised to see how beautiful it looked on my bed and how comfortable it was. I am very happy with this purchase and will definately shop Overstock again!

I was completely satisfied with my purchase of this bedding ensemble. The qualify and colors true to the photographs were a pleasant surprise. The comforter is a bit heavy to sleep under, but does not pose a real problem for me. I would recommend this bedding to anyone.

I love this comforter for the amount of items the package includes is worth every penny. It is even more beautiful in person. You dont even want to take the comforter off the bed you'll love it so much and it's also perfect for a couples room as well.

This comforter set is FABULOUS. Sometimes a product will not live up to it's picture or description, but this one did not disappoint. The price was great - especially for 20 pieces. Lightweight, but warm and cozy. I marvel at it's beauty each time I step into my bedroom. My teenage son noted that I look like a "queen" laying in bed! That in itself was well worth my money!!

I love this comforter set. The color was exactly as pictured. It makes our bedroom look so elegant. The sheets are very soft, tho the fitted sheet is not a very tight fit- but no big deal. The only thing I have found "wrong" with this set is that the comforter is very very very hot. It might be good for a typical winter but as I am writing this review (December 27th) it is 71 degrees in Arkansas. Not good for sleeping under but beautiful to look at.

Wow! Do I ever love this set!!!! Every piece is great to look at, comfortable and elegant. The sheets are a little stiff, but they are 100% cotton and will soften over time. The washable fabrics make this such a practical purchase. The cotton backing on the comforter keeps it in place on the bed and neat looking. It's absolutely stunning to see. My bedroom is being painted and decorated around this beautiful bedding.

We are putting our house on the market and wanted bedding that would hopefully appeal to most everyone. Visually, this bedding does the trick - it has an elegant, expensive look to it. Color-wise it favors gold more than beige. Fabric-wise, the comforter and shams are on the rough side. The sheets have been washed 3 times and still aren't as soft as I'd like them, but they are tolerable. They also come out of the dryer very wrinkled. A quick spray with some Febreeze, a few good shakes and a smooth down by hand, takes care of that. It was an excellent value for so many pieces and it definitely serves my purposes. If I had ordered it for myself and not to stage the bedroom, I probably would have returned it because I do not care for gold and I prefer a silkier feel to my bedding.

I was a little worried about the quality of the fabric especially the sheets as there was no mention of thread count but after several washings they were actually very nice. (No mention on the sheets themselves about thread count either) The ONLY thing I didn't like about this set is one of the decorative pillows has a majorally tacky "sash" across it that had to come off. Pillow looks much richer without it..
