I took a chance that this would be the color I wanted for my room, to go with my gold-green thermal drapes. BINGO! Gorgeous colors, heavy weight, excellent craftsmanship. With this comforter, my thermal drapes, and a cat or two, I'm in for a toasty winter! The set is well worth the price, and even worth the occasional dry cleaning bill. I could not be more pleased.

Very nice comforter for the money. Beware, the description states it is machine washable which is one of the reasons I chose this comforter. However, the package states dry clean only.

I read all the reviews for this & was still skeptical...Until I opened it! It is gorgeous! I was worried about the color but it's actually perfect! It's more a burnt rust with a gold & pale green accent design. The quality of the fabrics and the craftmanship are exceptional for the $! I live in the northeast and I do not even have to keep the heat on in my bedroom, this comforter is that warm! I also have a 2-3

This comforter set is very beautiful, and expensive looking. The material and the detail is very sharp. The comforter is full and does not feel thin, it is actually heavy. It is not really a red color, it is actually more of a rust or burnt orange, which is what I was hoping for. I was worried about the skirt being to bold of a gold color like a metalic disco suit. But it is not, it is a deep rich warm gold, that reminds me of the fall season. This comforter set is everything that I needed, I am very please.

I thought the quality of the comforter was great for the price. It was not the color I was expecting.(more orange/ pink red rather than burgundy.) Thought of sending it back but shipping was too much. It is always difficult to figure out what the true color of items are. After searching, found pillows and a new area carpet that tamed the color and I am quite pleased. Probably would have been less to return.:)

I bought the king size for my overstuffed pillowtop queen mattress thinking I would need the extra width. The king is actually too big so don't do the same thing I did. But it also doesn't make a big enough difference so I won't be exchanging it for the queen either. The quality of this comforter is fantastic! I love everything about the colors and weight of it. I gave 4 stars on comfort only because it is heavy and harder to move around. Although the weight makes the drape on the bed great. The gold color isn't a bright gold like I was afraid it would be--it's more an old warm gold. I love all the colors and how they blend. They look beautiful on my dark wood 4 poster!

Just another example of the great deals I have gotten from Overstock.com. This beautiful comfortor set not only looks great but fits as it should on a king size bed. The bedding is not stiff and looks luxurious as well. I love it!
