Beautiful set! The gold is much richer in person and the cranberry is really more of a maroon color. Lays perfect on my King size bed and no wrinkles. Very classy and the added pillows make the set. The only down fall is tthe material does snag easy. I have a two year old grandson that loves to play cars on Nana's bed and he has snagged it a couple places but not bad. All in all, good quality. I have purchased several comforter sets from Overstock (and will continue!) Get the best value for your money.

It is very rich looking and good quality for a great price. It matches the curtains I already had.

This comforter set is very beautiful. Unfortunately the quality of the stitching on the comforter and the pillow shams was horrible. I made the bed once and the seems all pulled apart. I put a pillow in the shams and the seems tore. Seems as though there was a defect in their sewing. I hope they fix the problem because I would love to have had this as my masterbedroom set.

The stitching looked as if a child in kindergarten was running the machine. On one side of the block, the stitching was at the seam..the other side of the block, it was two inches onto the block. It might not have shown as badly if the thread hadn't been gold on the top of burgandy material. As I looked through the bag, I could see that it was like this all over the comforter. It would have been a very pretty comforter set, if the stitching had been done correctly, and there was no hole in it. The quality was so poor that I would have hesitated to have purchased this set at a yard sale. There was also a hole in the comforter that was visible as soon as I opened the bag. I never took the comforter out of the bag. I was very thankful that I could send it back!! It was the first time that I had ordered from Overstock.com, and I am hesitant to purchase anything like this on-line again.

I was excited to receive this product once I ordered it. We were overdue for a new comforter and spent some time looking at several possibilities. When we came across this product is was everything we wanted (i.e. color, size, package). HOWEVER, within the first week of having the project the shams began to tear. The material is very poor quality. The colors and design is beautiful, but not worth the low quality material. I had to sew a couple of shams back together. We are truly disappointed with the low quality material.

Very pretty, but the pillow shams did not hold up well. Everything else was great.

The colors are not accurate. The red looks cranberry in the picture and in reality is much darker!!! It's more like a dark red wine while in the picture is more of a reddish cranberry. I sent it back and the refund was $30 less than what I paid for shipping and handling. I've learned not to buy bedding from this site!

I was heasant about ordering this comforter after reading some of the reviews on quality, but when it came in and i saw it, i was very pleased to see how it was double sewed and well made it is I think it will hold up for many yrs in my guest bedroom.

Too bad this comforter began coming apart from Day One, because it is a beautiful color and design. The problem is that it is crafted like a patchwork quilt, with each square being sewn separately; however the material is a thin poly and the squares pull away with the slightest movement, including simply making up the bed. In two weeks, the comforter was practically in shreds. Gave it to xxxxxxxx.

It looks just like the picture if not better in person, the only thing I really dont like about this comforter is that the seems rip apart very easily, so if you have kids who would be crawling around on the bed or friends who'd be sitting on your bed, dont leave this comforter on there - I had my friends kids over and they were playing on the bed, some of the seems ripped and it snags very easy!

After reading the other reviews before ordering, I wasn't sure regarding quality. However, I find the quality to be very good, the lovely plum colored jewel patterns on the pillows are beautiful. Other reviewers have commented on color - yes it is plum rather than burgundy - but for me it is exactly what I needed. The only thing to be aware of, is that in the picture there are 3 large cushions shown up against the headboard. It comes with two. The large gold pillow shown in the middle of the 3 is the reverse side of those pillows, you can use them either way, depending on your preference. I will be going to the fabric store to find similar gold fabric & making a 3rd pillow, as it doesn't look quite proportioned with 2. However, great comforter set, great price!

We ordered the comforter set thinking it would look great in our guest room. The colors were great and it fittied beautifully. However the first guest in the room sat on the edge of the bed for 30 seconds and the panels began to come unsewn. This continied to happen even after the wife attempted to whip stich the original panel. Others continue to come loose just laying on top of the guest during sleep. I would not recomend this item to anyone until the designer gets the appropriate machine fixed.

This comforter set is beautiful but snaggs. I have 3 cats and thier claws get caught. I usually turn it down during the day so that doesnt happen. looks very rich and regal. It would get a 5 star rating if it didnt snag.

The weight and fabric are very nice. I was very disappointed in the actual color. The picture makes it appear to be browns and wine, but once on the bed, it looks more like butterscotch. There are also several areas where the stitches are incomplete and pulling away. Considering the price, I feel it did not meet my expectations.

Love it! Great quality and wonderful jewel tone colors. Very pleased with my purchase. Took a chance on matching a pair of curtains I already had. After reading the other reviews regarding easy to snag I always make sure I take my wedding ring off before bed because it has been known to catch on a lot of materials.

As soon as I saw it, I fell in love and had to order it. Once it arrived, I was ecstatic! It is gorgeous and I am the envy of my mother and best friend. The bed skirt had a bad place on it, I contacted Overstock.com via an online chat with a representative and they sent me a new one. No hassle, no return, no problems. I soooo love Overstock.com. The only thing that could make it any better is if they had curtains to match and told you which ones they are. (I suggest that with any bedding set.) This isn't my first purchase with the Big O and definitely won't be my last.

I ordered this set recently and I love it. You can't beat the expensive look of these pieces for such a low price and for a kings size set! The colors are beautiful, the pillows had a diffferent pattern than the picture but are still really nice. The comforter is very light, but hey it's just for show right? I am now looking for something for the guest bedroom and will definitely look at Overstock.com again.
