I love my new Shelbourne Quilt Set. It is a lovely addition to my bedroom. I looks much more expensive than it is and the workmanship and quality of materials make it a wonderful buy. I am very pleased with Overstock.com as they have not dissapointed me. This quilt was everything that they said it would be and more.

I bought one in King size Ivory and love it. It is a beautiful mid weight quilt that has the same pattern on both sides of the quilt, with lovely scallop design at the edges of all four sides of the quilt as shown on the shams. I have wanted a quilt for awhile, but hubby didn't want one with roses and such on it. This one is feminine enough for me yet neutral enough for him. So if you have a chance this is a wonderful price for a quilt of this quality.

I was very pleased with this product. The quality and fit on our beds was lovely. I purchased two full sets and even my husband commented on how well he liked them. They will work well for summer quilts while I leave our down quilts in storage.

This is a lovely quilt set. I ordered ivory and the color is consistent throughout all pieces of the set. It has a very high amount of detailed stitching and has an old fashioned look. The king size adequately, but just barely, covers a 15" mattress with a quilted mattress protector on top (adding a bit more height). It obviously does not cover the box springs, so a bed skirt is necessary. I did not wash the quilt before putting it on as it said specifically to line dry. A 100% cotton could conceivably shrink in the dryer, and this quilt would not cover the mattress completely if that happened. The stitching seems quite adequate. There are a few loose thread ends on the underside (which looks nearly identical to the topside) which I will need to tie off before washing. I did have to sew the end of the seam binding back on the last 1/2", but it was nothing difficult. I am fairly certain that when I ordered, the identifying information at that time stated that king sized shams would be sent with the king size quilt. I am curious whether I overlooked this information, as I decided against many other quilt sets specifically because king shams were not included, or if the description has been updated to adequately reflect the size that are sent - standard. The quilt and shams themselves are well made, intricately stitched, and are quite beautiful. You can't go wrong at this price.

My friend wanted to get on also but when she tried a week later the item was gone.So we've learned that when you find a good deal grab it because it may not be there long.

Received it today. Exactly what I wanted. I ordered King size to fit a full size bed and it is just right,as it covers like a bedspread. Pillow shams are very nice too. I'm thinking of ordering another color. This one is VERY WHITE as i had hoped.

This set is great and was a steal for the price. The pictures on the website didn't do it justice. It is beautiful. I would like to comment about the weight of the quilt because a few reviews said it was too heavy. I also found the material to be "heavy" but in the sense that it is a quality quilt, not something light and flimsy. I am used to sleeping under a comforter in the summer, but I have found that the quilt's heaviness doesn't translate to warmth. I am having to add another light quilt or blanket to have the same warmth as I did from a comforter. I hope that makes sense. It's definitely of great quality, but you're not going to get the warmth of great-grandma's handmade quilt. I am so glad I "listened" to the positive reviews and bought this.

I love this quilt. Perfect for all weather use and the stitching is beautiful. I bought all white and it looks great in our guest room. Today I washed it on delicate and line dryed. It looks like new. The shipping was fast and I may order another one for my Mother. I have wanted a white quilt and not an off white. This is what I was looking for and it looks very expensive. I saw a similar one in a quilt store in Missouri for over $150 and the shams were extra. I highly recommend this quilt. It comes with the shams at no extra cost. I give it a thumbs up!

I purchased my first Shelbourne Quilt in ivory for my master bedroom. It was beautiful! The color and intricate stitching gave it an elegant, almost heirloom appearance. I was so thrilled with it that I purchased another in white for my guest room. Last Christmas, I purchased one each for my mother-in-law and sister-in-law, both of whom love quilts. Since they live in a cold climate, I thought they might use them to keep warm while watching television on a cold winter's night; however, they loved them so much that they decided to use them as spring/summer coverlets for their beds. In addition, my aunts were so in awe of them that I recently purchased three more as gifts for next Christmas...Sssshhhh! Don't tell them. You will not be disappointed with these beautiful quilts. The white and ivory quilts are rich-looking, elegant and very well made. They appear to be much more expensive than they really are.

I was under the impression that this was a bedspread, not a comforter. To look better it needs a "bedskirt". I was hoping that it would be no more than 2 inches off the floor.........I was wrong. overall I feel it is okay, nothing special.

I purchased this quilt in the king sized in French Red. I love the fit of the quilt, it falls just to the top of the boxed spring on all three sides of my bed. The red is a cranberry red, which is very vibrant and really adds color to my room. I am very happy with the purchase!

Wow, this is a wonderful quilt! I ordered the full/queen size for the guest bedroom full size bed and it looks beautiful. The full/queen quilt was also big enough to fit confortably on our queensize pillowtop mattress. The ivory color is a beautiful warm ivory, not too yellow or too white. 100% cotton is soft and thick. I am very pleased with this purchase.

After reading other reviews I decided to order. Can not beat the value, workmanship, and comfort of this quilt. I agree with the other reviews that the ivory is a little yellow, but with free shipping, too; fantastic! I am very pleased, very pleased. Totally recommend this product.

Wow, after reading the reviews on this quilt I decided to make my first Overstock purchase. I bought two French red quilts for our guest room. They arrived quickly and are fabulous in quality. They are heavy and rather stiff which I think shows that they're made of good fabric. I was thrilled until I noticed that one was a lighter red than the other. It was very noticable. I contacted Overstock through their live chat. What a nice thing to experience. She was so patient and helpful. We came up with the idea of ordering another one then sending back the one that didn't match. I figured that was smarter than returning two then ordering two more....when the same problem could happen again. It worked perfectly!! I received another dark red one and contacted Overstock to send me a return label so I could send the lighter one back...for free. I must say that I would have been happy with either color...just not different colors on twin beds next to each other. I am VERY happy with these quilts. They are very rich looking. BTW..I also ordered the Sahara quilt in king size for my bed and it is equally as gorgeous. It is a reversible Ivory and tan/linen. It is oversized and so it hangs nicely over the king bed. Check it out. Don't hesitate to order these quilts...you will love them!

When my wife and I re-did our bedroom, we were looking for white bedding. We looked around and couldn't find anything we were really happy with. After checking several places online, I decided to try Overstock since I had ordered some jewelry before and knew they carried bedding. My wife was a bit sceptical when we ordered it, but when it arrived, we were very happy with the quality. It looks great, and much more expensive than the actual cost. We ordered the King white. The only thing is the shams are not King sized, and could really use a third sham on the King sized bed. We liked it so much that we are ordering another one.

I ordered this quilt after searching for months to find something my husband and I could agree on. I love this white quilt because it is beautilful without being too frilly. My quilt arrived two days after I placed my order, amazing! I ordered the king size for my king size black bed and it looks stunning. It really gives our room a cozy cape cod look. The quilt fit my king sized bed perfectly and I could not be happier. The qualtity of the quilt is excellant and the price the was great considering I saw this quilt at a disocunt store without pillows shams in a queen size for ten dollars more. I plan on getting another one in sage or beige to fold on the end of the bed for an accent color. Thank you so much Overstock.com I love my quilt.
