nice color but again the heavy feel of sailcloth not nice cotton or percale. I hate the way they put the heavy elastic band around it and pieced the corners . they wrinkle badly too. not for me .

In my search for high thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, I stumbled across these and was lured by reviewers noting the sheets' crispness and percale type body. I've had very soft sheet sets that feel nice initially but end up twisted around my legs and bothering me. These sheets have a lower thread count than I thought I wanted but they are now my very favorite set. Turns out the count was not the best indicator for me as sheets with same thread counts vary. Love the feel of these, the mid-weight, the embroidered detail and deep pockets. Remove immediately from the dryer and don't obsess over wrinkles (they are not polyester so don't expect a smooth wrinkle free look unless you wish to iron). Very, very pleased with these sheets!

I have a very deep mattress and finding sheets that will fit is difficult. This set fit my mattress, which is about 20 inches deep, perfectly. Good quality all around. There is a wide elastic band all the way around the bottom sheet rather than the normal small elastic band.

The sheets are quite comfortable though I think they are little large for my bed. The pocket depth is greater than I needed. The color is a bit off; I ordered grey and they look tan or at most taupe. Even surrounded by blues when you'd think they would really look grey, they still look tan. That was a disappointment but I'll keep and use them as they are quite comfortable.

I've had jersey sheets before, a set from West Elm. IF THE QUALITY OF THE COTTON IS DECENT, they should be softer and stretchier than cotton percale. I liked my jersey sheets; unfortunately, my Jack Russell clawed up the fitted sheet burrowing. I still use the rest of the set, because jersey is warmer than percale, and is a nice alternative to flannel, which I can't stand. I find flannel to be heavy to have a tendency to pill, regardless of the quality. I use the West Elm jersey top sheet as a light blanket in the summer! Summary: good jersey sheets are soft and warm and will last a long time unless you have a set of claws in your house :) So, given my experience and stringent requirements, I can assure you that these Ink plus Ivy sheets are a great value for the money. I got a twin pair for my my sons-one gray and one blue-both soft heather-type colors. I may get a set (full) in natural for myself! They will keep me warm and soft in a nice cocoon during the endless gray, wet and chill of a Seattle winter.

As advertised. Good if one likes satin finish. We prefer cotton percale.

I love the crispness of these beautiful sheets. They 'snap' when you're making the bed. I'm always on the lookout for good percale, and these are really fabulous. I plan to fill my linen closets with sets of these. I don't know what may happen if I wash them, so I will send them out. I got the ones with the chocolate color trim. Very pretty sheets, and very large. There's no shortage of fabric in these sheets. I just love them!

I have always love crisp sheets. They remind me of the line dried sheets that I grew up with. I ordered white so color wasn't a problem. I have a 14 inch memory foam mattress with a topper and deep pocket sheets have never fit well. These are the perfect fit with the elastic all the way around. My husband LOVES these sheets.

Not my mothers percale sheets. Fitted sheet is not tight. After washing had to iron the sheets . We will give them to Goodwill & we bought 2 sets. Very Very disappointed.

I will only buy 100% cotton percale sheets and they are hard to find in stores. These are very nice and crisp, I am liking them a lot so far.

These sheets feel so good to sleep in, I think I said it every night that we have slept in our bed with these sheets on that "these sheets feel fantastic" they really do, but, they are a bit too long towards the bottom, so I am going to measure it to specs for our bed then cut off the excess than make something else out of it !

As advertised. We prefer cotton percale to satin finish. Plenty of room for deep mattress or mattress/topper combo.

You won't regret buying these sheets. This is the third set I have. There is nothing like percale for a comfy sleep. The more they are washed, the more like silk they become. I got the gray, and it goes with everything, really. I already have blue and khaki. I wash my sheets in very hot water; the color has held. I also hang my sheets on the line (you bet I'm old-fashioned!). I press the pillow cases and the top border of the flat sheet -- piece of cake!

Good value on basic sheets; didn't pay for luxury and didn't get luxury. one generally "gets what you pay for," as the saying goes. i did.

After looking long and hard for 100% cotton percale sheets, found them. They washed well and are comfortable. Pleasant color.

These have a fine twill weave and are lighter weight in comparison to another Bamboo set I ordered elsewhere. They are fluid and soft and light. I am a sheet snob and was sleeping on fine cotton percale which is getting difficult to find and ultra expensive. I don't like the popular sateen sheets because they snag easily on dry skin and ball up. These rayon from bamboo sheets stay tucked in and don't slither off the bed. I plan to buy another set. I thought I would miss my cool crisp fine cotton percale but I like these even better. So far, no pilling after several washings. Cool to sleep on. No complaints except I wish they were less expensive! Hopefully with the popularity of rayon sheets growing, the prices will drop. I wash them in cold water and usually line dry. I live in the desert so am lucky to be able to do that year round. However, they have been through the dry cycle on low temperature without issues. I highly recommend!

Love these sheets. They are the closest thing to percale I've been able to find. Been using them for at least two years now and are of the same quality as when I bought them. My daughter liked them so well that she ordered some for her beds. They do wrinkle quite a bit when they are new but that goes away after a few washings. Would absolutely buy these again

The shape of sheets varies little; a sheet is always a large rectangle or square. However, sheet materials vary widely. Sheet materials like cotton and flannel are widely known, but there are probably some fabrics you don't think of as being material for sheets. Keep reading to find out more about the different kinds of materials that sheets are made from.
Percale, a type of broadcloth, is known for the tight manner in which it is woven, instead of its fiber content. Percale sheets are elegant, smooth and soft. If you're looking for new bedding, look at the percale sheets fact sheet below.

The thread count of bed sheets refers to the number of threads per square inch of fabric. For example, if a square inch of fabric in a 300-thread count sheet with a standard weave were examined closely, 150 vertical threads and 150 horizontal threads would be counted, for a sum total of 300. The higher the thread count, the softer and smoother the sheets will be. Thread count is an important consideration to take when choosing a new set of sheets, but it should not be used as a sole indicator of quality. Equally important in choosing a bed sheet is the type and quality of the materials used as well as the fabric's weave.
Cotton sheets are the natural choice for those who want a low-maintenance, breathable fabric that wicks away moisture from the skin. Natural cotton sheets are less prone to staining than cotton-synthetic blends and release dirt easily in the wash. While all 100-percent cotton sheets offer similar benefits, some simply feel better against the skin and may have a longer life in your linen closet. Take a look below to learn how to buy cotton sheets.
