I should have remembered that 500 count Egyptian cotton looks best when ironed. I just ironed the pillowcases, and it was acceptable. This set is for a guest room, so it will get more washings than actual use. Set fits well on a standard queen mattress.

The sheet set is excellent. Really liked the bottom fitted sheet as I didn't have to struggle to get it on and although I don't have a top pad it looked to be cut so as to fit over one. The sheets feel smooth to the touch and of good quality.

loved everything about them except for one thing. The fitted sheets are super deep to accomodate my 4 inch pillow top but the top sheet barely covers the 12 inch on both sides, so if you are a tucker and have extravagant pillow top plus mattress depth you will only be able to tuck one side. But overall really impressive value. Rich color super thick and plush, deep fitted sheet accomodates oversize mattresses, and they wash very well. very heavy when wet you will break a sweat moving them from washer to dryer. love mine

I've bought a set of 650 count for myself, a set of 1000 count for my sister and another 1000 count for my niece. Everybody LOVES them. They not only are the softest sheets I've ever used, but they tend to stay tucked in the bed better than any other sheets I've ever had. I LOVE THEM and so do my sister and my niece. WONDERFUL!!!

I ordered this sheet set for my mom's hospital bed. It fits really well, but not quite as well as the other set I ordered. Would love to be able to order just the fitted sheet rather than the whole set, as we can't use the rest of it. Thank you

Size, color, appearance is great on these sheets, but after a few washings the mattress sheet pilled. I was careful in washing on gentle cycle and line drying, so it's disappointing that the sheets still pilled.

Love the sheets. They feel fabulous--didn't even use any fabric softener. Best sheets I believe I've ever slept on. Love the colors, also.

I was really pleased with these sheets upon arrival. They did not wrinkle excessively like many sheets I have purchased in the past. Once washed and on the bed they were very soft and smooth like satin. My husband even made a remark about their soft and smoothness. Now that says a lot! I would definitely purchase again and again.

These sheets are cool and comfortable, but the shrinkage (even when washed appropriately) was more than expected. I bought 2 sets in different colors, and am happy with each set.

These are not great sheets. After 2 washes there are small balls all over them! Not soft at all anymore! Sad!

Upgrading a bedroom from standard to luxurious is easy when you use silk sheets. Soft and lightweight, silk sheets turn your bed into a haven for sleeping and lounging. The thread count of bed sheets refers to the number of threads per square inch of fabric. For example, if a square inch of fabric in a 300-thread count sheet with a standard weave were examined closely, 150 vertical threads and 150 horizontal threads would be counted, for a sum total of 300. The higher the thread count, the softer and smoother the sheets will be. Thread count is an important consideration to take when choosing a new set of sheets, but it should not be used as a sole indicator of quality. Equally important in choosing a bed sheet is the type and quality of the materials used as well as the fabric's weave.
