I should have known that this would be cheaply made, since the brand is Sonoma. The cotton was very rough, and there were a few places where it looked like the machine went haywire with the stitching (stitched in places that it shouldn't have been...although I supposed this could have just been a fluke on the one I received). The picture here is much prettier than the actual comforter, in my opinion. Maybe if I had shelled out the money to have it cleaned (the queen size was too big for my large capacity washer) it would have looked better (fluffier, etc). Needless to say, I returned it.

We are very pleased with the Shasta comforter set. It fits our king size bed perfectly, looks very attractive, and is cool to the touch. It is not the highest quality cotton, but for the price it is quite good.

This is a very nice comforter set, it looks nice....although the quality not so great...clean looking , it will give your room some sort of fresh made bed...great for guest room.

This is a nice set of bedding at an affordable price. Comfortable, pure white material is a perfect neutral background to design around. I've had mind for about three years now, and it looks just as good as it did when it was new. I don't think this comforter set could take much abuse, so I wouldn't recommend it for someone who likes to lie on top of the comforter (not to mention dirtying the white fabric). If money's tight, this is a good, worthy alternative to more expensive sets.

This comforter is made of a wonderful lightweight linen fabric which is just what I wanted for our guest room. I use this comforter on the bed, with a homemade brightly colored quilt folded in fourths at the bottom of the bed. It looks absolutely wonderful with our black wrought iron bed frame. Our quests call our extra bedroom their own personal Northwest B&B!
