Is there a warranty for the product? If so, for how long? And is there any sort of protection on it from spills/stains, etc?
I bought this to insert in a ******* **** duvet, having checked the dimensions of both. It fits perfectly. It is light and fluffy, like down, but a bit thicker. I wanted it as a not-too-warm comforter and it is performing well in that regard. I wish it had a way (such as ties at the corners) to secure it inside a duvet, as it does shift around inside. I will be adding ribbon ties to the corners to help it stay in place. Still a great buy for the money (on sale)....

It does have a smell coming right out of the plastic package, washed it once and the smell didn't go away right away. It had a lot of fuzz balls all over it. Overall, good deal.Read More
This comforter is the perfect weight (for me) and adds the proper level of warmth along with a nice light weight level of softness. I added this and a new 2 inch memory foam topper (purchased through Overstock) and now have an absolutely beautiful, comfortable bed. I experienced no 'shedding' as described in some of the other reviews. One note.... I did have to return this due to the size being too small for my bed. Since I have a very thick queen size mattress and added a memory foam topper the queen comforter ended up being too small. I did reorder the king size which now fits perfect.Read More
Great for the price, very warm, and big enough to cover our king size bed nicely. Maybe not as fluffy as I would like it to be, but the down alternative is perfect for my husband's allergies.Read More
Very good looking, and a nice light weight. Warm but not stiflingly so. The cover has a rice feel but it pills a little. Service from Overstock was its usual dependable process.Read More

Does it have corner tabs??
Thank you for your question and I apologize for the delayed response. Unfortunately, this item does not have corner tabs.
WIth other comforters I've found they do not keep their size after washing and before long a queen is reduced to a twin bedspread. So, is this comforter subject to significant shrinkage from normal laundering in the washer? Also, I know the description states this comforter has 'box stitch construction'. Is this the same as 'baffle box' or 'sewn through' construction that prevents the fill from clumping together after washing?

Best Fills for Down Comforters
Warm and incredibly soft, down comforters are the height of luxurious bedding. Like all other bedding, down comforters can range from inexpensive to costly. The proof is in the filling. Inexpensive down comforters are filled with a combination of down and polyester or down and feathers. The best down comforters, which are usually also the most expensive, are full of pure, thick down. Take a look below to learn the best fills for down comforters. Hungarian goose down: Hungarian goose down is considered the most luxurious type of down. These extreme cold-weather birds have very thick, almost odorless tufts of down at the base of their feathers. This heavy, long-lasting down is most often used in comforters with a fill rating of 800, which means they can keep a person warm even in cold conditions. Eiderdown: Eiderdown is harvested by hand from the abandoned nests of Eider ducks, which pluck the down from their own backs and use it to cover their eggs. Eider ducks live in cold climates, so their down is thick and heavy. It is used in high-quality comforters with a fill rating of between 700 and 800. Eider duck down is the only type of duck down used in high-quality comforters. All other duck down is usually considered too smelly (and some duck down has tiny barbs) and is used in much less expensive comforters. Grey and white goose down: Grey goose down is used in dark comforters due it its grey color, but it is the same as white goose down in all other ways. Grey and white goose down, which is usually harvested from European or Chinese geese, is the most popular type of down used in middle-price-range pure down comforters. These comforters usually have a fill rating of 600 and above. Hypodown: Hypodown is a mixture of white goose down and milkweed. This all-natural filling is hypoallergenic and much more durable than pure down comforters. While pure down is still considered to be the preferable fill for comforters by most people, hypodown is gaining popularity with consumers who want a longer lasting product without synthetic fills.
